STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Jamming Array - A combination of IFFs, sensor jammers, and descrambling devices make up a powerful E-War armament, its antennae extending out from the front of Two-Face. Relying on a combination of slicing tactics and brute disruption power, Two-Face's multi-purpose jamming array is highly effective at disrupting the sensor readings of all but the most cyber-aware vessels. In fact, continued jamming can make entire systems inoperable or hijacked.
  • Afterburners - There are four small, evenly spaced side engines on Two-Face that can generate much more power than their size suggests. When activated, Two-Face's speed increases greatly, but it comes at a cost of reduced power to shielding and a lower maneuverability. Additionally, the engines can only run for about two minutes before they overheat, requiring a ten minute cooldown.
Strengths:
  • Disabled - Two-Face's EWR armament is formidable, perhaps one of the most lethal arrays in the cruiser and Destroyer field of EWAR. Most ships of similar size and even much larger battlecruisers will quickly find their targeting and navigation systems in complete disarray when facing Two-Face.
  • Raider - Two-Face is a strike cruiser at its core, with a high speed suitable for quickly rushing in and out of engagements complimented by a powerful armament of not only EWAR systems, but also conventional turbolasers and missile racks. Additionally, escaping from Two-Face is all but impossible due to its numerous tractor beam arrays and high stamina.
  • Maximum Overdrive - Two-Face has an extra boost to its strike capabilities in its Afterburners. When activated, they allow Two-Face to travel at nearly twice its usual speed. The boost allows Two-Face to easily be able to either catch up with fleeing foes or flee itself from a dangerous situation without a scratch.
Weaknesses:
  • Glass Cannon - On the other end of the strike cruiser bargain, Two-Face has a relatively low defense, and if caught unaware, its EWAR systems can easily be forced offline by turbolaser fire.
  • Bullet - When Two-Face's Afterburners are activated, it is very hard to maneuver, and its defenses are reduced. Therefore, Two-Face becomes a blind torpedo, vulnerable to any alterations or obstructions.
Description: Two-Face was meant to represent the second of Rick Kaloo's two "faces". On one side, he was a protector of peace working toward a greater galaxy. On the other side, Rick would do anything to ensure the galaxy remains efficient, even if it means making questionable choices. Two-Face is definitely an incarnation of Rick's second face in those regards, and his first significant contribution to Kanjiclub.

A powerful EWAR striker, Two-Face is best suited for hit-and-run objectives or capturing valuable cargo. Two-Face's purpose is far to the opposite of most Outer Rim designs, largely because he wanted its commander to remain a secret. Additionally, Rick took the opportunity to learn more about the EWAR and strike categories of warship, so he could determine their strengths and exploit their weaknesses.

Designed by a nearly entirely automated workforce, Rick ensured that the secret of Two-Face and its manufactuers would never escape the shipyards, or even the battlefields.

Just to make sure that we're understanding this correctly, does this mean that in other words, the Two-Face slices into enemy ship computer systems to disrupt sensor readings on the ship?

Our current speed scale isn't intended to be compared with ships of other sizes or classes, though in general, smaller ships will be faster than larger ships. This sort of mismatch may mean that other writers may not necessary agree that your ship is as fast or faster than their own.

That is the intent. I've made it a little more clear in the jamming description now.

Removed the comparison and simply suggested a significant speed supplement.

[member="Rick Kaloo"], cool. Ultimately, slicing falls into the same area as offensive attacks, meaning that the opposing writer will determine how effective this slicing technique is. As long as you're okay with that, I think we're good to go.

I'm fine with that, just as long as it can actually slice and not just make a paper cut
