Two Cats Big Galaxy

Kitty had taken it upon herself to teach [member="Bar'reth"] how to be a normal person in galactic society. She herself had a head start in that she was raised by her parents in normal society up until she was kidnapped and enslaved as a pet. Even after Ferus had rescued and saved her she had a very difficult time fitting in. Even to this day she has problems with it every once in awhile, though she suspects that has more to do with just how her brain and body was hardwired. Bar'reth on the other hand had known no other life. He still has a bit of a hard time just speaking.

Dragging Bar'reth with her Kitty found them some transportation and went to Naboo. It was calm enough for Kitty not to go insane and busy enough to serve as good experience for the male Felacatian. After recovering from the hyper space trip and landing Kitty would drag experience along with her to the city streets. She didn't know much about Bar'reth so she was starting at the beginning.

"Alright cities like this are always really busy with people. They tend to be loud and smelly but there isn't much you can do about it and believe me you can't just avoid them I've tried. Though they are annoying cities do have some redeeming features about them. Like there is a whole lot of stuff in a small amount of space. Like there is so much to do you can come and go several times and there will still be something new you hadn't noticed before. One of my personal favorite parts about is there tends to be all sorts of food to chose from. Like even thought we are pretty far from any large bodies of water there will be places here selling seafood. Any questions?" Kitty asked. Her tail was pointed a little ways away from her body an instinctive reaction displaying how happy she was.

Bar'reth quickly found himself dragged around by [member="Kitty"] without any real warning. The once black cat followed her without hesitation of course, but when they ended up leaving Malif Cove to Naboo, well. It certainly wasn't what he expected. What he did find odd however was how much she thought he didn't know what was going on. With a frown he would speak up after she went on about humanoid living.

"You know, just because I was a large cat for most of my life doesn't mean that I don't know these things already. I traveled practically everywhere with Ferus, so I understand quite a bit."

"Oh" Kitty said her ears dropping backwards. She had been so excited to show Bar'reth around and now she'd come to find out they had gone all this way for nothing. "I'm sorry I didn't think..........I didn't know about any of this when [member="Darth Ferus"] took me in. Which before that I had also been stuck in my larger cat form, so I kinda thought you wouldn't either. I'm sorry." Kitty was disappointed she didn't get to show him around and teach him these things and also felt bad for thinking he didn't know. "I guess we could go back if you want."

He blinked a bit at the sudden disappointment [member="Kitty"] showed. It wasn't his intention to hurt her feelings, or even be mean to her. Slowly he would scratch his chin, glancing about. "Well, I know how cities work. Like where the buildings are, what the buildings are for, but I'm not really sure how people act day to day, or how they eat, greet one another, that sort of thing. Ferus was always.. Unique in his way of life, so I couldn't learn a whole lot from him. Could you show me..?" Green eyes glanced back over to the female, waiting and hoping for a better reaction then sad.

Kitty quickly perked back up as she learned this trip hadn't been for nothing and there was some stuff she could show him. "I'd love to!" Kitty exclaimed beaming. Grabbing his hand Kitty started leading him to one of the seafood places she had been to last time she was here. On the way she began telling him people greet each other. "One way that guys tend to greet another person is by shaking their hand. Girls don't do it as much. Though be careful sometime they squeeze your hand really hard and it hurts. I had one guy shake it so vigorously even my arm got sore. Some things you should not do when meeting someone is sniff them to closely. Most others have rather bad noses and find it uncomfortable. Also ninety nine times out of a hundred nobody will have any idea what your body language means, so don't expect them to know how you're feeling just by looking at you. Ear expressions though are pretty universal, people tend to be able to pick up on those."

The two then arrived at the seafood place which was called simply The Catfish. Last time she had been here Kitty was drawn to it mostly to find out why it was named The Catfish. Turns out there is a fish that's called a catfish but doesn't really look anything like a cat. The two were escorted to an empty table and handed a menu before being asked what they wanted to drink. Kitty just said water and waited for Bar'reth. The waiter would move away to grab their drinks while Kitty would move on to explain how the food works. "This book which they call a menu has all the stuff they are selling. When they come and ask what you want you just tell them the name. The names though can sometimes be hard so there are numbers by the names which you can go by. These" Kitty said pointing to the silverware. "Are what you eat with. You are suppose to hold and cut and eat your food with these. Doing otherwise is considered rude. Everyone once in awhile though I'll sneak a piece of meat in with my claws." Kitty said with a smile. The waiter would then come back with their drink and ask if they were ready to order. The female feline ordered a type of sushi which was slabs of raw salmon and tuna on top of rice. She asked the waiter to hold the rice though.

Bar'reth was mostly quiet as [member="Kitty"] spoke, listening to her as she spoke. There was a lot he didn't know it seemed, even with his time with Ferus. Hand shakes? Most people who touched his master were butchered. Or became dinner. But no sniffing? He frowned at that. He can't just not sniff people, it's how he was. Both hands would clench a bit as he looked off, not all that pleased with the idea.

Then came the restaraunt. He's seen this before, though never once from the inside. As they entered, he found a wave of smells assaulting his noise. Most were good, though a couple weren't as nice. He was quick to block this as she lead him to the table though. Sitting down, he would once more glance about, resting his arms down with his chin atop it. "I.. Uh.. Just get me something good?"

Kitty could tell Bar'reth was having some slight trouble with the overwhelming smell of food especially seafood which tends to have a stronger scent. He seemed to already be use to being overwhelmed by such things though as he didn't let it bother him too much.

The male feline didn't seem to have any idea what to order for himself so Kitty helped him out and just told the waiter to get him the same thing she was having. Due to the nature of the order it didn't take very long at all for their food to arrive. They were both served a plate with 12 slabs of tuna and salmon. It was twice the usual order and price since usually it was the rice that filled people up the most. Kitty's digestive system couldn't handle rice though. On the sides of the plate were thin slices of ginger and packets of sauces to put on their fish if they so pleased, which Kitty did not.

Even after her silverware talk Kitty extended a claw and skewered one of the slaps of tuna. "On the other hand just as we learn to respect their culture they need to learn to respect ours and just be glad we aren't making a bloody mess." Kitty said slipping the meat into her mouth and giving a purr of approval. "These places really are amazing. No bones no nothing just pure solid fish meat."

12 was plenty to fill Kitty up but Bar'reth was far larger than her and probably would hardly fill him. She didn't even think to order more and when she finished she just sat there with a satisfied quiet purr. The young sith was so happy she now had the credits to do things like this for herself now and doing it with Bar'reth only made it all the more enjoyable, even if he was being pretty quiet.

Little did Kitty know the only surviving ex-guard of the bank she robbed awhile back was enjoying some rice noodle pho when he recognized the feline thief. He couldn't bevel she was foolish enough to show her face on naboo again and quickly contacted the authorities. He didn't understand why he had been spared. From what he heard after he woke up in the hospital nobody who had seen her face lived except for him, who besides a concussion didn't have a scratch on him. He'd be sure to ask her after the authorities arrived and detained her.

Bar'reth, at first, went right into the fish. The succulent smell they had overwhelmed his senses, and a much more primal sense took over. He would literally gulp down four pieces of the fish before he looked over to [member="Kitty"], who was much more refined. He would fake a cough, and slowly, with his fork, go back to eating the fish. Naturally, he was oblivious to this guard she had let live, and his goal. Rather, he was focused exclusively on the meal.

"Damn this stuff is great! Can we get more?"

Kitty didn't blame him for digging in. The young sith had found that nobody really understands how powerful some instincts were. Asking Kitty or Bar'reth to ignore their instincts is like asking someone to make their heart stop beating. It's involuntary and just something you can't do. Bar'reth thankfully found himself and started using the fork. It brought a smile to her face that the male Felacatian was enjoying himself.

That authorities that surrounded the buildings were not very smart. They left their sirens blazing and quickly surrounded the building. Had they arrived quietly they might of caught Kitty unaware. "Um Bar'reth I think its time to go." Kitty said quickly standing up and grabbing her lightsaber but not igniting it. Others were also wondering what was going on so Kitty didn't look too out of place. The authorities didn't enter the building though. They didn't seem like they knew what they were doing just that they didn't want Kitty getting away. People of course left the building and the authorities screened each one. Kitty had no idea what to do. "They are here for me." Kitty told Bar'reth. "I kinda got into some trouble last time I was here. I thought they would have forgotten it by now. I don't know what to do."
