Twinkle Twinkle I wish upon a ....

To say that she wished what brought her to the core was just a daily doing regular business. Not today it was something different this was dealing with someone higher up in the anarchy of the one sith on Coruscant meeting with the Empress. Today meeting would be the turning point Salliche Agricultural Corporation of being so close to Sith space. Since taking over as the CEO many changes had taken place. First to get more of the smaller planets in different parts of the galaxy with their trading being establish moving their goods some of those being of fine quality that they have to offered.

This what it boiled down to was the highest grade of each of the produce that one had to offer. This was also the best way to introduce what could be offered under the guild-line of a company like her also setting up a fair trade market or would it be that way. After all it all came down to supplies and demand. It was after this time she did what must. Making sure it was all prepared all she doing was waiting for the invation to met with the Empress herself [member="Matsu Xiangu"] they had met in passing once before at a ball. Not the time to do business there but at less she had made eye contact.

Dressing in her business suit with her knee high boots. Along with going to to great link. As she waited at a little cafe for the call to met this one after all it could be days knowing how this one schelude herself. Couldn't be everywhere at once after all. As she enjoy this simple cup of caf she couldn't help but feel that it was missing something. Oh yes their it was pulling out her flask she put a few drops of her whiskey in the cup. Taking a sip of it. After which she put the cup down she was pleased speaking to herself no one really. "much much better."

The café cleared with the hushed silence of well-orchestrated maneuvers, a team of female agents trained specifically by Matsu ‘ushering’ all but one patron from their seat and back in to the bright Coruscant day. Matsu hadn’t seen fit to destroy Coruscant’s natural ambience just because she’d taken over – crushing such a jewel just because she could seemed cliché and overdramatic, neither of which was were adjectives she wanted associated with her.

Within seconds the place was empty save for the brunette with her simple cup of caf.

Matsu wasn’t afraid someone would be foolish enough to attack her, at least not someone alone. The Empress had been the target of multiple assassination attacks, bounty hunters, Jedi, and mercenary groups. She was still standing of her own accord. But the woman had asked to meet publicly instead of in Matsu’s offices. Whether it was in the hopes of shedding some of the formality or to diffuse the danger of meeting with Xiangu was unclear but Matsu saw to it that they were alone anyway.

She strolled in the room boasting a presence far larger than her physical stature would suggest, dressed smartly in a gray suit. Slipping in to a seat across from the woman she crossed her legs and rested her metal hands in her lap, tilting her head in reptilian study and offering a smile at odds with her reputation as a waitress hurriedly placed a steaming cup of caf down in front of her.

“You must be Miss Vel,” she said as if she didn’t already know, holding out a hand for the whiskey she could smell on the air. Faint, but Matsu was very good at reading people. “May I have a little?”

Bring her cup up to her lips for another sip. Be frozen as if some kind of force just entered the place. Before her watchful eyes the place was cleared out. It seem that they was waiting for someone to enter. Looking over the force that had enter this wasn't just some thugs hired hands. No these was well train along with a gracefulness.

Waiting now was all she could do. Waiting for the call that would bring her to a meeting with [member="Matsu Xiangu"]. It wasn't until the entrance that knowing and seeing striking Miss Xiangu again. Only brought a smile, and nod. Waiting until she spoke. I would be Miss Vel, CEO of Salliche Agriculture Corporation.

Giving a thoughtful pause to the fact that what she just asked for. Surprise to her yes then who was she fooling. Empress Xiangu, I would be glad to help you out in this matter.

Putting her own cup down gentle in the saucer before bring out her flask again. Pouring some into the black steaming coffee. To what start to something beautiful

With out thought pouring some more into her cup also, with a nod to her own head. Showing her that she was here for business but she was one that like to me on the ground floor.

Matsu allowed a little smile, a one-fanged admission of amusement when the brunette poured a substantial amount of whiskey in to her cup of caf. Had she not known better she might have thought this business-minded woman was trying to smooth the upcoming proceedings, but Matsu suspected that would be mostly unnecessary anyway.

“Thank you,” she said, lifting the cup to her lips and taking a hearty sip before placing it delicately back on the table between them.

“I do know you,” she confirmed to herself, a long morning of wracking her brains finally bearing fruit, if only because she couldn’t forget a face like that. “It’s been a long, long time.” They’d never worked very closely, but Matsu found it hard to forget the days back when the Confederacy had been her home. She had hated it there, and perhaps some of her power came from the months her rage had festered. She valued freedom specifically because of her stint within their ranks. She’d known this woman from then, and from the Fringe when they’d both moved on.

“So tell me Seanna, what brings you to Coruscant. And please, call me Matsu.” She was capable of relaxed, nearly-human conversation unless given a reason to behave otherwise.

It wasn't that met to be a bit of amusement on her part. As spoke of knowing her or at less of her. Putting her own cup down, after all one like herself now wasn't going forget the manner even that part had to be taught. After all one with her up bring didn't have much in a way off that fancy stuff to fuse over. No not her she was still in her own way still simple. Even those when called upon she would bring out this straight stuff necked business woman if it meant to better the corporation or its interests.

Matus you might not be up to date on, I for a while now have been the voted CEO of Salliche Agriculture Corporation I believe it not already as some of the board members planets, are under the protection of the One sith now. I'm here for them, along with future. After all knowing how many mouths has to be feed on this planet others in this system.

Taking a sip of her coffee waiting to go on. "I for one would like to come to a good working relationship with those I represent, after all one got to keep the peace. " , she would wait to see what have to say on this before she seeing the direction or would she go a head with a little more of her baiting or was it really just her own savage way of business. Yes she after all didn't one to be cold or heartless she really did care for all the growers and ranches and those little one she had been put in charge of.

I know from running not only the business but knowing everything takes money no getting around it, but what if one could incress ones revenues at the same time, interested to hear more.

Truthfully, Matsu cared little for whether or not the citizens of Coruscant were well-fed. Those at the top would always get the most of the imports to the city planet and whatever trickled down would get to the dark, dingy levels of the jewel of the Galaxy. But the One Sith had a ‘front’ of benevolence, of bringing stability to their planets. It was her duty to at least act like that were true.

“My interest is piqued, certainly,” she offered, taking a sip and feeling the warmth of the alcohol hidden within the caf.

“How often can you provide shipments, and what do you plan to deliver? There’s a shortage, as I’m sure you can imagine, of proteins for those living beneath the surface.”
