four years prior to current events...

Recent events had caused the woman having to lay low for a short while. It was trying times in a galaxy that was waging war against her, or at least it's what it felt like. The smell of the streets smelled of things rotting and decomposing. Enough to make any visitor wanting to gag under the foul stench. It felt like her shoes was sticking to the floor with every step taken, and yet even with everything about the world it was one of the closest places one could quite literally get lost in.

Both her sabers was stashed under her clothes away from the sight of anyone taking glances at the hooded woman. It was clearly every man, woman and child for their selves. The poor thrived of petty violence in some ways they where the lucky ones. Anyone with coin here probably had a hand full of slaves. A practice Sanya found despicable. Been passed off as property was one thing but she was certain a lot of them was subjected to beatings and shock collars. Still she was looking for some place to go although it was proving difficult due to her decisiveness.

Lia'ssa danced like this every day. She would go to a pillar and dance on the pole that she was commanded too. This had been her life for years now. And it pained her that it had been the life of her daughters for 6 now. Lia gripped the pole and swung around it in an alluring fashion. She arched her back and landed on her feet. She slide down it and back up making sure to smile. As the entertainment in a Hutt's palace you always made sure that you kept your eyes up from the hungry people in the audience. Other wise you would get distracted and there were punishments for that.

But today Lia felt something. In the force. There was a presence here that was different from the gangsters and high society people that inhabited the luxurious palace. There was a force user. She once again gripped her legs and squeezed them tight to the pole. She spread out her legs and the people cheered. "Now.. where are you?" She thought to herself looking over the crowd of people.

Sanya kept walking for a little for a little while before her legs became tired. She finally settled on a club that played dance music that could be heard from outside. She didn't know what to expect walking into the place but she wanted a drink and possibly food to keep going. The door whooshed open as she approached it and was presented by a musky smell hitting her in the face. It was no better than the streets, but at least it was tolerable. Her tail flicked as she could sense the presence of someone. it was small almost unnoticeable in the masses of Nar Shaddar. One could compare it to a whisper trying to speak out into a crowd.

The Feline woman walked in looking for an empty booth. Her eyes caught glimpses of the many dancer stations all with some poor slave dancing for the amusement of people. It sickened her that it was a thing but she could't do a thing to change it on a large scale. She could see an empty booth and then approached the bar. The bartender gave her a promiscuous look grinning at her as if she was potential product. "Keep thinking about it I'll brake your hands." She said with disgust. "Ayy thinking about what? I was doin nothin. So wadda gona be?" His accent was strange and sounded illiterate with how he spoke his words. "A water and sushi if you serve it." She asked as she turned around. "Have someone bring it to me. If I stand here any longer I might just throw up from looking at you." The woman walked away glancing at the twi'lek with orange eyes as she passed towards the empty booth.

Lia had finished her dance. People cheered and she stepped off the pillar and went to the back room. There she passed a few other slave girls who were comforting a crying dancer girl. "What is wrong here?" Lia said in her usually stern sounding voice. One of the dancers looked up. "It is that girl who just came in." She answered vaguely. "The one with the tail." She said again. "What is wrong with her?" Lia'ssa asked confused by the situation. "Messi'a lost her parents to the same virus that created that race of people. It is why she was became a dancer. Don't worry Messi'a" She said truing back to the woman who was bawling. "Hey Lia could you take her shift? She is supposed to dance for her but she.. it doesn't look like it is going to happen" One of the dancers said. Lia'ssa sighed and confirmed that she would do it.

Walking past a bunch of people who needed to learn how to keep there eyes up, Lia looked towards the booth. The words "one with the tail" ran through her head. Could it be that bad. She walked into the booth. It was almost like a dome, that way dancer's had privacy. She looked in expecting a terrifying beast of a woman, yet all she saw was a young girl.. who was rather cute. "Oh.. I am your dancer tonight." She said bowing to the small woman.

Sanya sat down and leaned against the back of the padded seat. The beats of the music resonated making the floor, table and seats vibrate with a deep hum. A small droid soon rolled over with her food and water and placed it on the table for her. Sanya didn't acknowledge the machine. After all she builds them, affection and appraisal are faster ways to make droids develop personality quirks. As the small service droid rolled away a twi'lek woman entered her booth. She wore revealing clothes and had an aura around her that stank of oppression. Her green skin looked shiny and smooth as light would reflect off of it in certain areas.

"I didn't request a dancer." She said almost dismissing the woman. "I assume if you go back though you'd get in trouble right?" Sanya said pondering what to do. Sanya's hand waved making the curtain shut behind the woman blocking the view of prying eyes. "Sit or dance. I'll give you the choice. I'm not going to force you." Her voice was soft and alluring in a way. The full length of her tail moved in a flowing motion as if it was string in water moving back and forth. For a short moment Sanya slid down the chair so she could pull out her V shaped sabers tucked into her pants. She'd slide back up placing them by her side feeling more relaxed now they wasn't digging into her legs and sides.

Lia'ssa looked at the woman. She was small. And sassy. Lia didn't like her. Especially since after hearing what virus she had was the reason from someone to live a life like this. Lia'ssa heard the woman begin to speak. "Actually you did when you entered this booth, you see it is a private booth. Coming it here means that you want a dance." She said gesturing to the dome over them. "Yet I can see why you would be confused, it is easy to misunderstand the rules here if you are new to this kind of life." She said walking over. She smiled yet there was something about this woman that she didn't like. She was hiding something.

Lia'ssa took her offer to sit down. She stared at the woman looking at her tail as she shook it. Lia looked up into the girls eyes. "20 minutes should suffice. You don't have to pay me seeing as how I am not dancing." She said. The rules here were jumbled and confusing, yet Lia felt no reason to explained them to this girl. She seemed young. Maybe she used a fake ID to get in here young.

That is when she noticed her sitting strangely, she quickly adjusted herself causing Lia to ask "What is wrong? Are you not comfortable?" in a comforting tone of voice.

Sanya didn't know the rules of the establishment. All she was looking for was a quiet spot. Still the woman was unfamiliar so it couldn't hurt to talk. The woman continued to ask Sanya why she sat funnily for a moment. It make her chuckle for a second. "No, no. the seat is plenty comfortable. I was removing something that I had tucked from the sight of others, they where digging into my sides. Besides you may not be dancing but you are still using your time to talk to me, that and it would look shady if I didn't pay you in some way." She said with a cheerful tone. "I'm Sanya, you are?" Sanya asked the woman hoping that the basic question would let her open up to other questions. Sanya could feel the light surge of the force and Sanya believed it was the Twi'lek woman sat before her. "So tell me, do you do this line of work by choice or are you been forced into it?"
