I'm not quite sure what to do anymore, I initially joined this site to do a review for a friend and now since then I've found myself in a rut for roleplay. I had planned a galactic event but I'm not sure if it would be worth the time and effort given I do not have any pull or standing reputation of an experienced roleplayer who frequents this site. I do have a day job and my passion of comics and generally being a witty ass to keep me occupied most of the time.

I suppose what I'm trying to say is that I want to try to get back into Roleplaying here to see how it goes but something more casual rather than the never ending dramatic power struggle that are factions and the wholesome amounts of bantha crap that goes with them. So if anyone would like to start a casual roleplay with me with major rush on posting and an emphasis on story rather than "swing swing clang bang bang" I think I would enjoy it and appreciate it a lot. I am a good dungeon master when it comes to D&D type roleplays and I generally enjoy spinning a good story. So just chalk this up as looking for group I suppose.

I can feel your pain. It's alarmingly challenging to find any decent role play potential without getting myself neck-deep in pseudo-political galaxy-spanning war games. Even noncommittal threads about random strangers crossing paths in a bar usually descend into some cataclysmic event when some power-hungry god walks in with blood on their mind.

That being said, I'd love to RP with you. It is refreshing to find someone interested in developing a good story without falling back on action all the time as filler content.

Thank you for your post, I think we should do a thread and try and get something started. My character here is a silver Jedi padawan and generally is more of a wise ass with a good heart. He struggles maintaining the path of the light with his darker past. Kind of a stereotypical Jedi at times but I wanted a pretty basic character for this site but I'm up to new things. What about you?

I've actually been trying to get my first forcie off the ground, so it's kind of perfect, in a way. Barring that, I am pretty much up to anything.

Do you have any particular idea for where your character may be located in the galaxy? And what scenario we might be looking at? Also I do share your love of explosions lol it's just been a bit since I've had a good thread for talking as well

In a different thread, she had just come back to Coruscant for the first time since its fall to the One Sith. If that doesn't work, she could theoretically be anywhere accessible through public transportation.

Coruscant sounds good, I'm sure I can shimmy something out there. My Jedi looks nothing like a Jedi so I'm sure he could get in easily. Besides it's just a social thread so I imagine all will be well. Bar or maybe something else?

Not particularly. She has some obligatory respect for the the republic and all that, but it mostly came with the territory. The only grouping I can see her having any issues with for now would be Sith types. She hasn't had a chance to evolve very much from the stock Jedi, yet.
