The city of Naeid is a shadow of its former self. It is known to be the city with much of its integrity remaining. Unalike to other cities that are sandswept or washed away by immense bombardment, Naeid stands as a beacon of defiance for the former people of Tuas. It stands proud, even as the jungles surrounding this mighty city begin to swallow it up. Wildlife has returned to the streets, where predator and prey live out their entire lives in these streets and buildings.

The port town of Eltsacwen saw some of the harshest ground deployment. Entire legions rolled over the streets and cars, leaving behind a wreckage that lasts for many dozens of kilometres. Entire buildings have been blown away, only leaving their inner gutting to remain. Grass begins to grow, but it is unlikely that any wildlife will tread into this harrowing land. The waters surrounding this city have been polluted, leaving the once luscious blue a sickly green.

The sandswept city of Sagev was once a city of technological might. Tactical genius by the Primeval resulted in them dumping hundreds of thousands of tonnes of sand onto the city, flooding the streets and burying its citizens alive. Digging around in this sand will uncover many bodies, but so too will it uncover great technologies. The Gen'Dai are few and far in-between, but Tuas is a nexus for their population. The only existing 'tribe' of this strange and powerful species, that obey The Queen, live in the city of Sagev. Unalike those they share this world with, they find it easy to dig through the sand due to their biological make-up. And in events that a Gen'Dai is caved in and buried alive by the sand, it will not kill them like it would the Myneyrsh.

The polar regions are vast and unexplored. The few that dare wander it are given no respite by the intense storms. Many are killed trekking across this land, and few ever successfully scavenge items of worth. The former inhabitants of Tuas never colonised the arctic regions, and whilst this is known, some are both brave and stupid enough to try their hand at dominating this landscape, to prove their worth before The Queen.

Culture:
The culture of Tuas is primarily that of scavenging. The planet was invaded by the Primeval shortly before the arrival of Tuas' current residents. The civilisation formerly living on the planet was made extinct, allowing the current residents to scavenge through the remains of their great cities and find what they can. Almost all weapons belonging to the sentients living on Tuas was made from scavenged metal. They live in tents, under outcroppings of rock and in caves, preferring to roam freely about the world. They move from city to city, town to town, forest to forest, finding a means to live among the wreckage.

The Queen is held in a zealous favour among the sentients on Tuas. She is seen as a divine leader and their provider. She saved them from annihilation at the hands of the Primeval, and brought prosperity to them by discovering Tuas. Albeit its discovery was total accident. The Queen rules aboard a station that orbits the very edge of the star system, flocked by only the most extreme and worthy warriors of her people. Those of Tuas are considered ferocious, and do not welcome outsiders. They have become a recluse society.

Technology:
Technology on Tuas is sparse and outdated in some fields, and advanced in others. Droid technology is almost unheard of in the Liech System, with the few existing droids being nothing more than prehistoric prototypes belonging to the former society on Tuas. These droids are routinely destroyed as per The Queen's orders. Droids are considered untrustworthy, believing that they can easily turn on their masters as they could serve. The difference between a droids ability to do this, in their ideology, and an organic, is a droid is far harder to shoot dead.

The Liech system is well endowed with its starcraft, even going so far as the Primeval seeking them out for their precious ships. The Queen has not obliged to these demands, and keeps local system naval forces well within the Liech system out of fear of invading forces. Ground-based machines are lacking, with walkers being large and cumbersome, and tanks being relatively slow. These beasts of burden are rarely seen, but are truly a sight to behold when you come across a patrol with one of these very rare tools of war.

Technology pertaining to that which is not war is much to be desired. Datapads are seen so rarely that if one were to see one, fathers would be telling their children for generations. These devices are reserved for the highest officials in the monarchy due to their limited supply by fault of a lack of export and import. Other basic technological devices exist but they're primitive in design compared to the galaxy.

History:
Little is known of Tuas prior to the arrival of The Queen and her servants. Their arrival was met by a Host Lord of the Primeval. They spoke, albeit briefly, and told tales of ruin and destruction upon the planet. It is said the planet was nearing a Type I civilisation, but had faced extinction at the hands of the Primeval for they did not bow to their demands. Seeing a way of survival for her and those who had come with her, The Queen bargained the life of those who followed her and in return they would serve the Host Lord, and the High King of Gulamendis. An agreement was made.

The Queen rules over the entire Liech system, ensuring patrols are sent regularly to defend the borders her borders. Those in the Primeval know her as The Queen, or furthermore The Queen of the Reef, a moniker derived from the nebula that encompasses the Liech system. Those who followed her roam the wastelands of the planet, finding pickings and scavenging for a living. They're considered the most die-hard scavengers in the galaxy, willing to find even a nickel and turn it into something else. They move in large groups, much alike to the Tuskens of Tatooine.

Notable PCs: The Queen
Intent: To be the first of a vast instalment of upcoming submissions including details on the other planets in-system of the Liech System, flora and fauna, and technology. To provide an exotic atmosphere along with unforetold dangers when roleplaying in this mysterious system.
