Character Trinn Traumsen

PROFILE

Name:
Trinn Traumsen
Species: Human-Sephi
Age: 56
Gender: Feminine
Force Sensitive: No

Occupation: Journalist, Broadcaster
Known Affiliations: Tepasi HoloNet Corporation (THC)

APPEARANCE

Trinn is a tall woman with sharp and expressive features. Her blue eyes sit below a strong browline, which accentuates her gaze. Atop her head is long, well-kempt, brownish-red hair that she typically wears straight down her back. Despite being middle-aged, Trinn's part-Sephi heritage provided her with the trademarked longevity the species is known for; she could easily be mistaken for someone in her early 30s. The journalist dresses in rich, trendy core world fashion, with a trademark light blue jacket adorning almost everything she wears.

SKILLS & TRAITS

Socialite:
Being a broadcaster for a core world HoloNet corporation has its perks, including various connections among high-net-worth individuals. Pull on the right strings, and doors open.

Slippery: A dangerous past investigating corrupt senators and crime syndicates left Trinn with a penchant for recognizing and slipping out of trouble with ease. She's sneaky, sly, and a crack shot with her holdout blaster should the need ever arise.

Known: Though once an investigative reporter who could blend into any situation, Trinn's face has been plastered around the HoloNet enough times for her to be recognizable. She is no longer the spy she once was and is out of touch with the masses.

Paranoid: Trinn's past is riddled with close calls and betrayals from even those close to her. She tends to mistrust and see ulterior motives even when there aren't any, making it difficult for her to maintain healthy relationships--let alone avoid destroying them.

BACKSTORY

Trinn was born on Belasco to a Human mother and Sephi father. Her childhood was unremarkable, and eventually her family moved to Tepasi, where she would later begin a career in investigative journalism. This would be the most definitive period of her life, fraught with success and peril in equal measure.

After a breakout moment investigating a political corruption scandal within the core worlds, Traumsen inked a high-profile deal to join the up-and-coming Tepasi HoloNet Corporation as co-host of their flagship news program, Galaxy Bites, which focused on daily news primarily impacting the Core Worlds and Colonies.

Following the conclusion of her 10-year contract, Trinn was given her own program, the Traumsen Hour, which breaks down investigative reporting of emerging stories within the galaxy. The show launched to middling success, due to being overshadowed by major network programming such as the Kael Report on GNN.
