The Omega Class Armored Shuttle is the latest offering from Trigonus Industries, meant to be used in tandem with their upcoming Far Trader Class Freighter, as well as sold separately to interested parties. It is a good shuttle for picking up or depositing personnel in contested regions, and is designed to take a beating while still being able to fly. Its speed and maneuverability are provided by the miracle of engineering that is the Santhe-Sienar Tandem Impulse Drive system, a next-generation engine that pushes the shuttle to the speed of some starfighters. This shuttle was also the first to feature the SPEEDS power distribution system developed by Trigonus, a useful way to get extra performance in an emergency. A lack of cargo capacity is the shuttle's main weakness, with users limited to what they can stow in the center walkway between seats and in the overhead compartments. But if you are transporting personnel, it's a gem.
