The Trigonus Bipedal Universal Defense Droid (BUDD) is a specialty security bot designed for deployment with military troops who partially or primarily use kinetic-kill weapons such as slugthrowers. Its bipedal locomotion duplicates the versatility of terrain traversal used by infantry. It projects a Ray shield in a 10 meter radius around itself, sufficient to envelop a platoon of soldiers. In addition to its ray shield, it can deploy anti-personnel micro-rockets to defend itself and its retinue of soldiery. The unit is much less capable of sustaining damage from kinetic-kill weapons itself, and anything capable of penetrating its thin titanium shell will damage or destroy it. Trigonus Industries manufactured 100 of these units as a gift to the Lilaste Order, in the hopes that the unit would prove popular and be purchased in great numbers by the militant group, who relies on a large amount of kinetic weaponry.
