A powerful lightsaber: Focused through the Vi'Dreya Crystal, and utilizing high capacity power cells, the lightsaber has a stronger blade than many, able to swiftly cut through objects a bit faster than normal.
Versatile: The lightsaber is able to change the length of its blade, the width, the intensity, change the blade color, and the hilt color. It can also work under water, and its lack of dimetris circuits and the extra power cell, help to stop feed back loops which would shut the saber down. It also can instantly increase its length to double its original size.
Fibercord: While useful to keep the lightsaber from being lost, it also keeps the saber from being thrown more than 5 meters.
EMP: While the saber is mostly protected, a powerful EMP will knock out the color changing devices, as well as limit the ability of the blade changing devices.
Crystal: The crystal had to be purged and changed out every so often, or else it fills up with dark side energy and will attempt to control the user.
During a battle against a powerful foe, the limitations of her apprentice ligthsaber became well known. When she had healed up, Allya began to design a new saber. This one fed into her Trickster mentality, her need to control the flow of battle, and to keep her opponent constantly guessing.
The hilt was built with a solid reinforced duraplast build, to protect it from EMP attacks, but it also provided a strong defense against lightsabers, blasters, and fragmentation damage. A Vi'Dreya crystal was used as the focusing gem, allowing the blade to cut through things faster, but also protecting her from dark side mental attacks. Various switches and knobs were placed into the control switch, to allow her to control the length, width and density of the blade. A color changing focusing lens allowed her to change the color of the blade at will. Photosensitive microscopic crystals connected to a low level electric current and placed across the hilt, allowed her to change the look of the hilts color and texture at will, or to even hide the fact she had it at all.
It had a Bifurcating Cyclical-Ignition Pulse to allow it to work underwater, a lack of dimetris circuits, and an extra powercell designed to take in overflow energy to stop feedback loops. It has various other bells and whistles, allowing the lightsaber to be utilized to its fullest extent, and to be kept from getting knocked out of her hand, or taken and used by her enemies.
