Description: At the battle of Kaeshana, Textan Voidstalker lost his arm to [member="Samka Derith"]. It wasn't fully severed but the blade cut deep between his shoulder and chest and too many nerves and veins were severed for the arm to be saved. The young man was never supposed to end up in the middle of the opening battle of an all out war and his father, Jacen, would forever feel the guilt of leading his son to end up permanently disfigured.
Paying for enough phrik for an entire arm, the New Jedi Order commissioned AEI to provide Trextan with a new arm. Aesthetically, the arm doesn’t attempt to mirror flesh but in form does at least look relatively organic. The entire arm from the shoulder down is now artificial. Artificial fibres are woven into the muscles connecting the artificial arm to his back to give them increased strength to balance the weight of the arm. Sensors on the hand provide a very realistic tactile experience, permitting Trextan to carry out delicate tasks with his hand.
In the forearm is a hidden paddle beamer. This pops up from behind the back of the hand on neurological command and features a laser sight for precise aiming. The inside of the forearm features a medium range comm unit and display that can be hooked into GADF tactical battlespace systems. Or to use publically available holonet services and mapping if required. The fist has an inbuilt VT Grav Glove. The wrist has a Light shield capable of absorbing light arms fire and deflecting a lightsaber.
The arm is lightweight, but remarkably strong and durable, able to withstand glancing blows from a lightsaber or blaster bolts. Mechanical strength at each joint is far ahead of any human arm. Grip strength is more than capable of holding well beyond Trextan’s weight indefinitely. Reaction time and speed is exceptional, slightly beyond what Trextan was capable of before.
