Character
NAME: Trextan Voidstalker
FACTION: None (Formally One Sith, formerly Galactic Alliance)
RANK: Padawan
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 20
SEX: Male
HEIGHT: 1.8m
WEIGHT: 95kgs
EYES: Brown
HAIR: Black
SKIN: Pale
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum):
+ Scrapper: Trextan’s life has left him somewhat hardened. He’s a scrappy, stubborn fighter
+ Raw ability: Trextan is exceptionally gifted with the Force. His father, Jacen Voidstalker, was exceptionally wary of his raw potential.
- Self-doubt: He doesn’t yet know where he stands in the Galaxy. He’s lost his mother and the man he saw as his father. The One Sith trained him to kill his biological father and now Jacen is successfully challenging his world view on Sith and Jedi.
- Reckless: His father had the rough edges knocked off over time, but Trextan can be reckless. He rarely backs down from a fight. He can easily be goaded.
APPEARANCE:
Like his father he is tall and broad shouldered, with pale skin and dark hair and eyes. He had a narrow face and quite hawkish features. He keeps his hair long, much as Jacen did in his youth. There are several scars across his back from the ‘training’ of the One Sith
BIOGRAPHY:
His father took a lucrative private military job that saw him away from home for extended periods. His mother was never bright, but was a kind soul towards Trextan. When he was just five his mother left his father for an older man who held a boring, dependable job within Coruscant’s financial district. His step-father already had two children from a previous marriage. Trextan never quite managed to reconcile with this turn of events. He found it easier to simply avoid his biological father altogether.
When his step-father and mother were casualties in an Alliance raid on Coruscant he became easy pickings for the Sith. His troubled background and pain were channelled towards the Dark Side of the Force. His anger was directed at his father.
When Corsucant was falling the senior Sith fled the world, leaving the acolytes to fight for every metre of ground. Trextan was in a Sith facility when his father arrived with a small group to rescue him. Trextan was goaded into attacking his father by his peers, but was knocked clean out by him.
Trex had raged endlessly at Jacen after they had been reunited. His precious Alliance had dropped the bombs that had killed those he saw as his parents. But the Jedi just soaked it and replied calmly. Over and over. It was frustrating but the things he said slowly began to make some sense. The Sith had played on his anger, used it and twisted it.
The hardest day came nearly a month after being taken to the Jedi temple on Sullust. Jacen had given him his saber back and told him to do his worst. He swung that thing with every ounce of anger.
And barely came close to landing a blow. Jacen had chastised his form, told him that his teachers would have given him a better grounding if they'd been planning to do anything more than use him to provoke his biological father.
His impotent rage had turned to frustration. Almost an entire morning of trying to make just one blow land. Yet even near forty his father didn't tire. Slowly even that frustration had ebbed away. Trex had fallen to the ground under the hot midday sun, entirely spent.
Only then did Jacen shut off his lightsaber and come to sit on the ground beside him. In a low whisper he had spoken.: "I always loved your mother, but I don't think we were ever meant to be. I still love you."
That had hurt. The bastard had waited until he was spent and vulnerable. All those memories he had locked away broke free. The times he had barely been at school when Jacen would come home with his bag over one shoulder. There had always been something in it for him.
Confused and with much internal conflict, Trextan agreed to follow his father and see the good he did in the Galaxy.
Trextan started by joining the Alliance Jedi padawans on a number of excursions. Time slowly started to heal painful, open wounds. Even if they would never leave without scars. He started to form bonds with people within the Alliance: @Taheero Sollo mocked his brooding behaviour on Sullust and cared for him at his very lowest point. He was relatively oblivious to the way she started to see him. [member="Rebel Sunka"] followed his lead on several small missions for the Order. More recently he met the pilot [member="Choli Vyn"] and followed her to try and stop [member="Dredge"] from destroying Metrobig City. [member="Elmont Block"] joined the Justicars and they would start to carry out work for the Justicars across Alliance space and beyond.
He fought for the Alliance with renewed vigour following the battle of Atrisia. There he challenged a dark jedi to personal combat and was only saved by the timely intervention of a Fireman Jedi. Her sabers were returned to Siobahn. Another dark jedi almost struck Jacen down. Trextan prevented her from doing so, but in the process lost his entire right arm. He had never intended to follow in Jacen's footsteps, let alone join his war. Yet now he could see no other path before him.
Trextan fought many times for the Alliance during the war with the First Order. He recreated his saber using a Durindfire crystal, found on Tatooine, where his family had come from. The Alliance collapsed when he was recovering from battle in a medical frigate. He finally turned his back on the war and the Jedi Order, leaving with Chloe Blake - a Warden of the Sky.
Once again he reforged his saber to something less conspicuous. Trextan has been keeping to himself during the years since the Alliance's collapse.
