Trevin is a quick learner and great at picking up skills that help him. While he was in basic training he learned the basic skills that are taught to front line soldiers. Basic medical knowledge, marksmanship, survival skills, basic training with a sword, and was commended as a leader by his superiors. He also has the training and skills of a police officer which include basic interrogation techniques, blaster pistol training, basic hand to hand combat, and he is well versed in how criminals operate and knows how to spot them. He has a charming personality and can get along with most people, when he is not in a bad mood of course, and he also taught himself how to cook to impress the ladies.
On the flip side, he has many vices. Though he is an excellent learner his motivation has been questioned as far back as he can remember. He struggles with PTSD from the attack on Coruscant and suffers from nightmares because of it. He has a tendency to drink, and when he drinks, he drinks heavily. He was spoiled by his mother as a child and he can sometimes be a bit pretentious in the way he handles things, thinking things should be given to him instead of earned, but mostly he has learned from his past mistakes. He has an extreme hatred towards dark side force users, the One Sith in particular, and is on a quest for vengeance against them.
APPEARANCE:
Trevin is a physically fit young man who keeps himself in shape, not for his health, but for his looks. He likes to keep himself well groomed, but because of his recent excursion into the Army, is forced to keep his head shaved which he absolutely hates. He has very bright blue eyes that is one of the first things people notice about him. Outside of that, he has a very cold stare, that most people confuse with him being angry all of the time. He tried forcing himself to smile more but it made him feel insane so he just went with explaining that he was not angry. When allowed he is up to time on current fashions ( at least on Coruscant ) and likes to dress nice when given the chance. He has three noticeable scars on his body from when he was shot multiple times. The biggest is on his left shoulder, right below the collar bone, and in the same spot on his back. Another one on his left hip where he was grazed and the third being on his right leg. The hip and the leg wound do not bother him, and his shoulder wound mostly does no harm, though he sometimes feels a slight pain.
BIOGRAPHY:
Trevin was born on Coruscant in Galactic City, the planet wide city of Coruscant. The only child of Devin and Karlecia Neros, a military man and a local shop owner, his family was upper middle class. He lived a good life growing up, usually getting what he wanted, and his father being gone meant that his mother raised him. Because of his father never being around, Trevin was a bit of a wild child growing up, getting into trouble so that his father would be forced to discipline him as it was one of the few things that brought the two together.
Trevin never aspired to be much, he was not a standout in school, but he did not really try all that hard either. Devin referred to him as wasted potential while Karlecia said he just had trouble fitting in. Honestly it was because he did not care all of that much, he had never known much hardship, so he assumed life was just as easy as coasting on by. As he grew older, though, he knew he had to figure something out and he refused to join the military because he did not want to become like his father.
When he graduated his required years, he decided to join Coruscant University, but dropped out after one semester. While there, he was approached by a friend of his who had joined the Coruscant police force and convinced him to join, so at the age of 20 he became a police officer. He had no desire to rise through the ranks so he mostly did beat jobs, patrolling the streets, and never seeing any real action and not really wanting to.
That all changed when the One Sith invaded the planet. They were not equipped to deal with such an invasion, and because of this, many of his friends died. Despite being known as a slacker who did not care, he showed extreme courage in the face of the invasion, rallying the few men who were brave enough to stay to try and protect the Senate Building. Though they fought valiantly, it was in vain, and they were quickly overrun. Trevin was hit by blaster fire in his left shoulder, his hip, and his leg and was assumed dead.
He awoke in a Republic Ship, after a week of being unconscious in a stasis chamber, to find that Coruscant had been captured. He demanded to be taken back so that he could get to his mother and father, but they would not allow it, and said they were taking him to a refugee camp. He spent about a month there before he signed up to join the Republic Army, he could not take it anymore, he felt helpless and he had to do something to help. He was shipped off to basic training and 9 weeks later he came out a Galactic Republic Army Private.
