Treaty Revisited (Jack Harkness)

The first time he had come here, Akio had been a Vice Admiral and arrived in only a single aging Lambda shuttle. That had been four chancellors ago, and now he returned as an Emperor. Instead of a shuttle, he arrived in a star destroyer. They were outside range of system defenses, and the comm officer immediately contacted the planet.

Looking at Coruscant, he had mixed feelings. Those feeling were irrelevant though, for he had a duty to perform. It had been far to long since he had sat down with the leader of the Republic, hopefully this new Chancellor would prove to be better suited to the job than the last few. Unfortunately there was no way to know for sure until the Emperor met him.

A message was sent to the Chancellor's office requesting a meeting. The star destroyer moved forward slowly as they waited for a response.

Yusan Fenn sat in the command chair of The Raskta, a MC180 Rememberance class Battleship, a grin stretching across his face as he was relayed the message that the Emperor had sent to the Chancellor's office. Acting upon the word of Chancellor Harkness he sent forth a hail to the other ship, waiting for the Emperor to connect it and for them to start talking. Though it would not be about the treaty just yet, no it would be about him coming in a small ship and what exactly it is he wished to talk about. He looked at the first officer and spoke calmly. "Captain, move the ship into range but keep all shields at minimum and weapons powered down, i just want to make sure that he knows that bringing a large ship doesnt impress us." As the Officer relayed the order he looked back at the screen, waiting for the hail to be patched through. @[member="Akio Kahoshi"]

Akio continued to wait in his stateroom for a message from the Chancellor. Their weapons were down, for now, but the approach of a warship rather than a message of welcome to an ally did not look good. "Prepare a return trip. If they will not greet us, then we have nothing to discuss here." The star destroyer stopped as the bridge crew began plotting a hyperspace jump back to Atrisia.
