A figure glided through the hallway. A dark purple changshan that might have once been curtains in a past life hung from his gaunt form, formless and uninspiring, with a high collar that encapsulated nearly the whole of his neck. Only his head and hands were exposed - as was proper. A single glance would be enough to recognize the fellow as a Givin, if for no other reason than the skull like visage of his exoskeleton, deeply recessed eyes and permanent dismal expression. The Givin stared fixedly down at a data pad held in one hand, stylus in the other.

The calculations flitted through his head. How best to go about such a matter? That all depended on what sort of account she wanted, though in the Givin's opinion a revocable in-vivo seemed best.

Swishing past the threshold of the doorway, Ni'gel seated himself before a desk. His employer had entrusted him with this task, thus he would fulfill it in an efficient and timely manner. There was really no other reason that a Givin of his standing would be offering banking advice to an impregnated ex-ballerina.

Speaking of which, she should be here soon. Ni'gel looked up and cast about the room with a mournful gaze.

This was not his office. In fact, this was not even on the same planet as his office. In point of fact, it was inside a public library. Why? Because he had a membership and it was cheaper than any other option.

Back straight as a ramrod, Ni'gel waited, keeping time with the tap-tap-tap of one claw upon the desk while he simultaneously ran through several unrelated algorithms he'd been working on for the past week.
