• Ejection seat/escape pod
STRENGTHS
• Modular weapon hardpoints.
• Very durable armor and shields.
• Just plain looks new and exciting.
• Flexible waist joint twists 90 degrees in either direction, which permits strafing tactics (movement oblique to direction of fire).
• Excellent gyrostabilizers.
• Separation from core frame means that, if weapons pods detonate, the whole walker won't be lost.
WEAKNESSES
• No rear-facing weapons. No side-facing weapons. If the Transgressor isn't facing you, it can't do squat. Generally not great for urban operations unless you don’t want to leave the city standing.
• Quite bulky. Throw in bipedal locomotion and the old Ewok anti-walker playbook becomes pretty viable. Massive Mobility assumes no liability for anything whatsoever that happens on Endor.
• Separation from core frame means that weapons pods are obvious targets.
• Tall visibility profile makes it an easy target compared to a tank.
• Leg joints, though armoured, are obvious targets.
DESCRIPTION
The Transgressor is a heavy walker suitable for open-range and long-range combat. It’s highly effective against infantry, light air support, fixed emplacements, and light armour. It’s less great against tanks and mobile artillery, in part because it excels at drawing and holding the enemy’s attention.

The Transgressor has four weapons hardpoints, two dorsal and two lateral.
• The dorsal hardpoints are designed for missile pods or mortars. A typical loadout might be a spread of concussion missiles or thermal detonators. Alternatively, a dorsal hardpoint can carry a high-power, high-accuracy target painter to help call down orbital strikes, or an extra, wide-angle shield generator capable of sheltering adjacent allies for a reasonable amount of time.
• Each of the lateral hardpoints typically holds a heavy laser cannon, a light ion cannon, and an antipersonnel repeater. However, these hardpoints are compatible with a wide variety of reasonable ordnance, and frequently customized to fit whatever weapons are available. Massive Mobility techs brag that you can rip a laser cannon off an X-wing and plug it straight in as long as you brought enough space tape to the party. This modularity makes the Transgressor a favourite among certain salvager crews in the Outer Rim, who are more than happy to fit the lateral hardpoints with cutting torches, heavy grapplers, and other tools of the trade.

With stubby lateral attachment points, reversed legs, and no discernible ‘head,’ the Transgressor’s movement patterns and articulation are essentially identical to those of an AT-ST.
