He gives a barely concealed smile at the comment about the Artisia battlefield.

"Well, I ended up testing my Shiem against snipers and it worked well."

He nods his head.

"Hard work, well, I'm from Lilaste, so this isn't anything new, and I'm also a Chiss."

He looks at Reign.

"I'll give it my all."

Reign laughed softly at the young man’s bravado.

“Lesson one, is humility, my young friend. Your training paid off this time, but when the battle against the Mandalorians comes, or the Sith Lords, overconfidence will get you killed”

His eyes softened momentarily.

“Be sure that you do. The next opponent you face may not be as kind as I am”

He nods in agreement and smiles.

"Well, then I'd better start training right away, right?"

He gives a slight, more relaxed smile as he talks to Reign, curious about what the training will be like.

"After all, I can't waste time. I... I like everyone I know here. Laphisto found me and welcomed me in his own way. I have hardly any memories of my past, so Diarchy is my home. I want to get stronger to protect everyone."

They had made their way around back to the arena.

Reign eyed his new pupil, there was much to mold.

“The first step in Djem-So, is learning to utilize the force to enhance your strength. Considering your size, it will not be effective unless you can do so.”

He paused a moment

“Djem-So utilizes devastating attacks, ferociousness and strength. To do that you must be stronger than your opponent”

He paced slightly as he spoke.

“Reach into yourself, feel the force imbuing your limbs with strength beyond what you thought possible… try this now”

Aknoby listens to the instructions, which are not so different from what he has to do with Ataru.

Still, there is a certain difference. Ataru increases the speed and agility of the duelist, while Djem-So increases his physical strength. He feels the difference and moves his fingers slightly.

"Hmm... it's different from what I'm used to."
