Training Day!

Day one of training:

The last time Skosk was on the clan planet of Australis , he was a lowly NCO assigned to the city to defend it to the death. His military career hit off here, where he became a hero of the defense of Eighty-fifth Street. The veteran of this skirmish was one of the key players in the battle, holding off waves of infantry until Ambrose came shebbing on the enemy, and saving the day. It was a glorious battle that got the young brute promoted to captain. The yellow eyed , horned, beast of a being was wearing an athletic sleeveless workout shirt, or bro tank. Such a size shirt as usual being custom made for the hulking athlete. Today the light skinned zabrak would be training one of his favorite partners in crime, Beth Australis.


In mandalorian culture family was said to be more then blood, and to the Fett he considered the now teen, to be family. There was nothing the former soldier of fortune would not do to keep her safe, and happy. The being taught her how to fly and land a ship, among other things. Like what getting laid meant, and other derogatory terms for her mind to absorb. Today he would yet mentor her again with the permission of her father, and by her request. He would train her the basics of wrestling, a sport that required everything , speed, agility, explosiveness,Strength,endurance, power, and size. Something the required the entire package, and therefore he also would be giving her a strict diet, and training regiment to make her meaner, and tougher.


This training process would take eight weeks , and even then she would have to keep training like he did , to keep the vigorous gains his eldorai friend would make. However she would not be training alone, he would be training with her, to self improve himself as well. Today would be day one , where he would test the teen to see where she was physically. Once this would be complete, he would take her away from thew weight room they were in, and into the ring. To teach some technique,the trainer stood their. waiting for his pointy eared trouble maker to make it to him.
 
Beth was a Mandalorian. She was expected to learn to fight, to train to fight, and be ready in all types of fight. This expectation was something she eagerly accepted with a desire to make herself as fierce a warrior as she possibly could. Of course, being a warrior meant taking bruises, broken bones, and in general being hurt. Regrettably, for little Bethany, her body was more sensitive to hits and other attacks that hit her skin. The Eldorai in her blood made her have a very low pain tolerance level - a punch could cause her to tear up.

And who best to teach her than her idol and friend, [member="Skosk Fett"]. She looked up to him as an older brother, a Mandalorian warrior, and a friend she would trust with her life. After all, he was the famed hero of Eighty-Fifth street, which is something Beth didn't know until sometime after they first met during the Bandomeer situation. Since the fight with the Hutts, Skosk and Bethany would get into all types of trouble together - from using military equipment without permission and sneaking out with them in the middle of the night. Truly, the two of them probably were the cause of some restless nights for some of the clan members. But, they were partners in crime.

Today was the test day - to see how much she knew, how strong she was, and so forth. She had been training by herself since they first met - and with the help of some other more specialized instructors, primarily due to the health problems that came across from being a child in poverty. Those days had faded though. The young Eldorai-Human had put on weight, had grown taller, and had some muscles. She wasn't a pro nor would she probably win with a trained professional, but she could at least defend herself and tire them out. That was something she was proud of.

She wore a light green, tight tank top and black yoga pants. Her long hair was pulled into a tight bun to keep all hair away from her face during the training. Bethany wouldn't lie - when she first saw the training regiment Skosk was preparing for her, she nearly balked. But, she knew he knew what he was doing. He was a strong warrior - she was a weak, young warrior. He'd be an amazing instructor, she knew this in her heart.

In either case, she jogged into the gym that she was supposed to meet Skosk in. She found him in a weight room. With a bright smile, her ears perked in excitement, she ran over and gave her hulk of a friend and a tight hug before releasing him. "I'm so ready." She truly was. Although, mixed in with that excitement and readiness was some worry. How much pain would she be in by the end of the day?

But mostly, could she really give up the food and follow the strict diet plan he sent to her via her datapad? Now that she wasn't too sure about.

The new member of Australis smiled at his vod's enthusiasm, "Look behind me and you will see a whiteboard. Before we start training I have to tell you how to properly train if you want results. " . He started drawing on the board, the picture being of an typical athlete and another of someone who is not. "When people train to be strong, to be athletic. They think that size is everything, that if somone is strong its because they are automatically big. This is false, and utter trash that companies and scammers will tell you in hopes of giving you the ultimate health you are looking for. As such, when I was a pro wrestler, and galactic champion at the professional level. I learned from the best on how to really train and what a healthy body really meant, and what strength and athleticism really was, and what it really meant." , his eyes paused at her making sure she understood what he meant.


"There are three types of muscles with extremely scientific names in the organic body. To make things easier to understand, Ill call one type of muscle size muscle, Lower intensity muscles and the other being function muscle. " , the mentor began to pause to little these differential sync in drawing a lean individual , a medium sized individual that's muscular, and a roided up and jacked stick figure. "For instance, functional muscle is the type of muscle that is the hardest to gain, and the hardest to train. However this is the muscle that is responsible for pushing pulling , or exerting any type of force. This type of muscle exerts a lot of energy but gives you the most strength , speed, agility, and explosive power that you want. This is the most important type of muscle for any warrior this group does the most damage and is responsible for you to be able to accomplish amazing physical feats. You can never have too much of this type of muscle. The goal is to gain this over anything else , before worrying about the other two."

The professional knowledge of the bulky framed, and muscular wrestler was paramount for his success during his days of competition , and during the present days of now. The body is the greatest weapon a mandalorian, or any warrior could have. The body was as strong as one wanted to be, would never jamm in the middle of the battle, and would never run out of ammo. This is what makes mandalorians so dangerous,they are their own weapons . Making them in impossible culture to kill . "The next type of muscle we have is a lower intensity muscle, this helps with giving one muscular stamina throughout the entire body. This type of muscle helps one last longer in athletic situations, and ensures you do not tire out. This is another important muscle group that is a must for a warrior to have. One cannot dominate, if they cannot last in combat! No matter how much power they have.".

The strength coach continued, "The last type of muscle one has then is the size muscle that many commonly mistake its purpose for, size muscle helps with another purpose. It is essentially ones extra set of armor that protects major organs from collision ,blunt trauma, and other potential threats to the body. It also is a more, and important factor in fighting disease, this is due to more blood flow going throughout the body. Allowing the cells that fight disease to travel quicker throughout the body to kill whatever sickness their may be. As you can see, each type of muscle serves a purpose , one for doing the actions , one for lasting longer, and one for injury prevention." .


He smiled, "In order to become a complete warrior, you need everything to be balanced , and equal throughout your body. We are training you to give you a bigger frame , a stronger body, and one that can help you last in war. Everyday we will be working each category, their will be two hours of lifting , forty five minutes of conditioning, and an hour of technique training to get you better in the ground game. Today will be a shorter day however for the remainder of this week, due to testing you to see where you are at physically. You are to eat four meals a day, with a thousand calories each meal. Its a lot of food, but you will need it in order to have the fuel needed . Each day will physically be taxing. Now jog around the weight room to get yourself warmed up. You can ask questions after we are done testing you. "
 
She nodded as Skosk spoke. Her ears perked, her left slightly in a different direction, her face showing curiosity as the man began to speak. She looked at the shapes he began to draw as an eyebrow also began to perk. "I hope size isn't everything," she motioned to her own body, "I'm kinda small." She grinned towards Skosk before being quiet and continuing to listen.

She had no idea there were scientific names for muscles. Let alone such a breakdown in different types and different body types. It made sense, but still. She listened to Skosk, nodding as he explained each one in detail. She wondered which one she was mostly made of now. Was it size muscle, lower intensity or function? She was pretty sure she'd find out soon, though. Skosk was one to show her hands on what stuff was. Learning with her own hands worked better for her, anyway.

She nodded as he continued to explain, "Well, we have armor, so muscle size isn't too big of an issue, right? The first two seem like the most important ones." She nodded, feeling like she may have really caught on to something there. Granted, though, Beth still didn't actually have any armor. Yet!

They say balance is everything. She wasn't sure how she felt about that. In either case, she nodded at the list of things she would be doing each day. She could do that. What she probably couldn't do? Eat 4,000 calories each day. Her eyes widened when she realized how much that was.

In either case, she nodded. She began to do a small jog to warm herself up, along with several stretches before she returned to him. "Skosk... But I can barely eat like... 1,500. How am I suppose to fit that much inside me?" She exclaimed, confused and relatively nervous about the idea of eating so much.

Questions where good, Beth's personal trainer smiled "When your body enters stressful and physical activity it burns a lot of calories , this makes you hungry. If you want to lose weight you eat smaller meals to barely curb this hunger. However if you want to gain good weight, you can take advantage of this craving to eat. Due to the amount of training we will be having you will want to squeeze your meals in after working out for maximum effect. " , the horned being gesturing excitingly at one of his many passions. "If a thousand calories does not work per meal split it up differently. Try and have a really big breakfast and I know this is going to sound really hard. But shoot for at least nine hundred calories at breakfast. Eat more if you can, then after lifting eat a small snack. Which means you'll want to pack something for yourself. We will then have brunch a few hours before conditioning so it can digest. Do the same thing again, shout for eight fifty this time and more if possible. " . The instructor was a crude and crass being, yet to the suprise of many was a really good guide as a teacher. It seemed Skosk didn't have just war time skills after all, "Now after conditioning you will feel extremely hungry after having exerted yourself to much of your limit. This is when we will take advantage of the hunger mechanism our bodies have!"


The workhorse with excitement exclaimed, "Thats when we can eat our lunch, and pack on as much food as possible! I will be eating considerably more then you.So you must shoot for a thousand or more. Your hunger and body will feel like it will need such. Afterwards you will have some time and rest before our technique session, this is your time to rest and eat snacks throughout the day should you feel like it. Drink lots of water during this time. After our technique session , you will want to have a small dinner with at least four hundred calories or more. This is really the only other alternative you have, food is a must and is important towards your goals of success.IF not, you can cramp up from fatigue, have muscle spasms , or die of unhealthy weight loss. Follow me." , it was time to get going however time for their first exercise. The tower of a being walked to a matt he set up for her while she was jogging in stretching."We are going to make you do five push ups , and then I am going to add weight on your back. WE will keep doing this until you can do no more weight.I will show you how to do a proper, and standard push then what you were taught."


The hulk of a being placed both his hands with a spacing of being shoulder width apart, next his big sized chest was parallel to the ground. His back was flat, it was not rounded or curved, which indicated bad form. Smiling while he was in push up position , he looked at his friend , "This is the back posture , and spacing you want your arms. You want your chest up, and back straight. If you round your back , you will develop an unhealthy bump that forces you to hunch forever, if you round your back , you can over exert it and tear the lower back. Do not do this ! I am not going to sodding see my favorite mandalorian trashed up you fething newbie! We have battles to fight." . He playfully smiled, "Practicing this form is your homework, because when we start putting more heavier weight on your back to push. This form will be key in your safety." . He then slowly rose down, bumping his chest to the ground hard, before rising up his quickly bent arms to a full extension making him back to his original spot. "That is a full push up. Fast, hard, and strong.I will teach you a breathing technique when we get to actually putting weight on."

The yellow eyes of the coach began to focus on the trainee, he would watch her form, and make sure it was perfect. Preparing himself for the weight he was about to place on her back, Skosk would eventually have to teach her how to spot weight push ups when it was his turn to do them.
 
Skosk was talking to her. He kept explaining the many different things about calories, and bodies, and physical activities. The poor Eldorai halfing stared at the giant as he explained things, most of his explanations going over her head. What was conditioning? She put one hand on her stomach, trying to somehow determine if she'd be able to eat a 1,000 calories a meal. At least it was spread out through the day it seemed. That would make it a little easier to handle.

Water. She could drink lots of water, no problem. Did he say die of unhealthy weight loss? A slightly panicked expression went across her face before she realized that was only if she didn't eat all the calories he recommended. Goodness, she was in for it... What had she exactly gotten herself into?

In either case, the girl nodded as Skosk began to show her how to do a pushup. She was going to do five by herself. Then, he would add weights. "How much do the weights weigh..?" That was important for her to know - maybe she could act a little weaker than what she was? The girl pushed that out of her mind - she couldn't do that, it just wasn't in her nature. She had to succeed - it was how she lived during her years on Mygeeto, it's how she functioned as a person.

She nodded, getting down on the ground in a push-up position. She had her back straight, her shoulders apart from her hands. At least, she thought her back was straight. After a few minutes (and probably a few adjustments from Skosk) she was in a full ready position to begin doing the pushups. Due to her previous training and general athletic skills she acquired over her life, the first five push-ups were fairly easy - she finished them in no time. Now, it would really depend on what Skosk was preparing to put on her back... Yikes.
