Intent: To Create a weapon that can be smuggled behind lax security measures without too much of a hassle.

Development Thread: Can Make one

Manufacturer: Nemene

Model: ...belt?

Affiliation: Nemene

Modularity: Yes

Production: Minor

Material: Kilik Silk, Durasteel

Description: This device is incredibly simple in both design and function. Simply put its a red sash with a length of durasteel razor wire sown into its lining. Due to Nemene's constant need to meet with Dignitaries, Ambassadors, and other Monarchs the Queen of Rattatak often found herself completely unarmed of both her Lightsaber and blaster pistol, because of this she sometimes found herself naked with no weapon at all. In order to fix this she ordered her seamstresses to sow a length of durasteel razor wire into one of her red sashes.

The Sash itself looks and function completely normally, easily tying around Nemene's waist and giving nothing away. Because of the way the Durasteel is sown into the sash it can avoid most commonly scanners, it is difficult to spot as most automated systems assume it is just part of the clothing. However more thorough scans and more top of the line metal detectors will find the weapon in an instant.

In Order to use the weapon Nemene only has to tear the length of wire from the Sash, thus ruining the garment.

This weapon is incredibly easy to reproduce since its essentially just some razor wire sown into some silk.

Classification: Garrote

Size: One/Two hands

Length: 2m

Other Features: Nope.

[member="Nemene Talith"] - This bit doesn't make sense to me. I can accept normal body/weapons scanners ignoring it, but a simple metal detector would pick it up just fine.

I have edited that bit out to streamline things a bit. Though my reasoning for it is that modern day Metal Detectors can be fooled, having accidentally brought several metal things through them at the airport i should know <_< >_>
