STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
+"Calm Down" - Can go through a situation without getting angry with little to no problems, and usually is good in talking people down. Most of the time, anyway
+ Military Man - As an ex-Stormtrooper, Tormax knows his ways around blasters, hand to hand combat, explosives, and vehicles.
+ Captain Space...murica - Thanks to a Sith serum, Tormax was granted enhanced strength, speed, durability and has a slight boost to healing (Not strong enough to help much in combat, just heals faster)
+ Engi-Neat! - Whilst waiting for his brother to come of age to join the academy, Tormax took some time to study the ways of an engineer. Though he is no master with mechanics, he's not bad with a wrench.
+/- Great Senses... Right? - Due to the serum he took, Tormax has improved sight and hearing. However, due to this, if a bright light appears suddenly, or a large sound blasts out of nowhere, he will be in pretty bad pain for a few seconds.
- PTSD(amn) - Woke up from a Siths force woven dream to find one of his few friends dead. Watched as everyone of his squad mates, excluding himself, died from the serum they were all forced to take. His childhood wasn't so bad though, so there's a plus.
- Back off - When it comes to his friends and family, he can be very suspicious of others, often trying to convince those he cares about to not do anything that seems dangerous.
- ... - As for himself, When it comes to interacting others, he isn't an antisocial, but he definitely will wait a little while before he truly trusts somebody.
- "Changes" - Due to only recently getting his abilities, he isn't used to his strength. He definitely can do accidental damage to himself and others.
APPEARANCE:
Auburn is his hair on his head and his chin (more like my profile picture than the one on this thread,) though at the moment his luscious beard is not a reality simply because the serum he had taken made him temporarily bald. His eyes are hazel, similar to his brother's and parent's eyes. As for his bodily condition, his arms and legs are strong, his chest ripped, and he stands tall at six and a half feet. However, he does not walk around without a shirt to show off. He is not very accepting of his body for now, due to how sudden it changed. When it comes to clothes, he wears a neat uniform of grey and black (as pictured above), accompanied with many compartments, as well as has a place to hold his rifle on his back.
BIOGRAPHY:
Tormax Ategann is the older brother of [member="Andanian Ategann"], a spacer that was wanted by the once great Sith knight Krux Mullarus. The two young men grew up together on Empress Teta as the two sons of a carbonite miner and a freighter pilot who fell in with a bad crowd. Zika Ategann, who married her husband, Deckard, at the young age of sixteen for financial reasons after being kicked out of her parents' home, was hired by a small-time spice smuggler for her skills with flying big freighters like his. It was good pay, almost good enough to where Deckard Ategann wouldn't have to work in the carbonite mines. However, Zika had to hide the fact that she was flying for criminals and told her husband she worked at the spaceport while he mined carbonite for long, twelve hour shifts at a time.
Zika eventually quit working for the spice smugglers when she became pregnant with their first son, Tormax, and she became a dedicated mother to their children. Tormax doesn't remember much of his first four years of life, which was boring and somewhat lonely due to his father being away for so long. His mother was good company, but she wasn't like a friend to Tormax. Not like Andanian. Tormax stood over his baby brother since birth, even warning some relatives who visited not to get too close, to which he was greeted to laughing and a somewhat scorned mother. When Andanian got to the age where they could actually play, they spent most of their time pretending to be imperial officers, whom they looked up to. They both dreamed of the academy, and did not know much of life outside of their own.
Due to the somewhat big of a gap in age, and because Tormax didn't want Andanian to join the academy alone, he waited for his brother, and trained during this time. He studied, he went to the gym regularly, he helped his father in the mine for a few months, but during the last two years of waiting for his brother to reach 18, Tormax found he liked engineering, and took to that till the birthday of his brother two years later.
When the time came and Andanian turned 18, he and Tormax, now 22, they began their basic training at the Academy, being shipped off of Empress Teta and being flown to Anaxes. After a year, Tormax did very well in his studies as well as his physical training, while Andanian was the less-responsible student and focused less on his studies and more on partying with the upperclassmen. Despite Tormax trying to help and reign in his brother, Andanian flunked Imperial Academy for his own irresponsibility, and Tormax felt responsible. Despite all of this, Tormax graduated, leaving his brother to run away with a stolen Imperial ship. Andanian became a spacer, unbeknownst to Tormax.
Tormax was interrogated for a month or so after graduating, receiving threats like being charged with treason, but in the end they came to the conclusion Tormax knew nothing. Two years pass, where nothing much happens and Tormax is glum. During this time he is stationed on Anaxes as a member of a group known as Jackal Squad, who waited for stationing elsewhere. Finally they get sent to a Sith ship known as The Paladin, belonging to then Sith Knight Mullarus. He served under Knight Mullarus, a simple Private, and due to some sort of chance became closer to the Sith than the rest of his group. Not as a friend, but they became familiar with each other.
During his service under Knight Mullarus, Tormax made friends with a fellow Private named Konnor, who died not long after their friendship started, when they were both on a mission with Knight Mullarus, his apprentices Abelain Narv'uk and Fortuna, and Darth Azurea. The rest of Jackal Squad followed suit when Krux Mullarus went slightly mad due to extreme anger, and ordered them all to take a somewhat lethal special serum.
Tormax was one of the men to survive, being transformed into a beast of a man. Soon after this, he heard that Knight Mullarus had disappeared, which angered the usually calm Tormax. He thought the man was running away from what he caused, and so he took the Knights ship, which he left behind, and found out where his manor was located, and went there. Luckily for Krux, who Tormax found badly wounded.
After saving the Sith, who renounced his dark ways to become a silver jedi, Tormax took the ship again, and went to find his brother.
