Tom Darthur. Standing at 5'10 and approximately 180 pounds, he is not a large human male, and his physical appearance is anything but striking. However, he holds a wisdom about himself, and an intensity. He is known for his interrogation skills and the ability to find the devil in the details.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Tom has worked hard for his position among the Police Force. As such, he is known as a intense individual who takes great pride in his work. Tom sees the near hopelessness of trying to Police a world as large as Coruscant. With offenders rotating in and out of prison, and the justice system taxed to its breaking point, he understands his work can sometimes be irrelevant. He still believes in the Coruscant Police, and wholeheartedly believes in his work. Law-abiding, but sometimes bending the rules, Tom does what he deems necessary for the safety of his community.

HISTORY
Tom was born on a low Sub-level of Coruscant. His family were maintenance workers for the lower levels which gave them a small salary they could survive on. Education in the lower levels is nearly non-existent, and Tom did whatever he could, legal or otherwise, to gain the knowledge he needed over the years to get out of the lower sublevels. Instead of following in his families footsteps as a maintenance workers, Tom joined the Coruscant Police in hopes to rise from the Sublevels of Coruscant, toward the top, toward the stars.
Tom has been a detective with the Coruscant Police Force for nearly 10 years. Before that he was a patrol cop. Responding to every crime known to man, or alien. He slowly climbed the ranks until he could apply for the detective position at Precinct 90, Sublevel 430. After his superiors saw his dedication to service, and to the people of Coruscant, he continued to rise through the ranks. Currently, he is the second most senior detective in Precinct 56, on Sublevel 34. A prestigious Precinct, and close to the surface, Tom has used his expertise to rise through the ranks of the Police and secure his reputation of a tough but fair detective.
His job is all he knows, and he continues to put forth all his effort and work to climbing the ladder and reaching his ultimate goal of retiring on the surface.
