It was time for the Tournament of the Cauldron to export itself.

Try as hard as they did, there was just no way of perfectly replicating the different environments they required for round two of their grand event. They had made their unrealistic requests, demanding that they somehow replicate the climate and habitat of some of the most extreme planets in the galaxy. Mere simulations would not be good enough, it had to be real, it had to feel real and when enough slaves and scientists had perished at their hands for such impractical ineptitude it was only then that the Queens of Rattatak had decided that they were going to have to use the real thing.

The remaining contestants were to be shipped out, given the luxuries of celebrated gladiators and plenty of opportunity to rest and prepare for the next fights ahead.

Back at the Cauldron a multitude of screens were set up, surrounding the arena so that no detail could be missed of the now televised spectacle, the pit below for once completely devoid of action. Nothing would take the limelight from their glorious occasion.

The screens flickered to life...

A Dark empty space station, flickering lights and a distinct lack of gravity.

The station was nearly empty, its massive expanse creaked and groaned as the little air that was left inside moved about. Trash floated everywhere, massive broken machines, small bits of wire, even panels of glass seemed to float about aimlessly. Narrow halls and large dining rooms filled this station to the brim, no gravity could be found anywhere. It was a creepy environment, but one that seemed to draw in the Crowd of the Cauldron.

Two competitors found themselves upon this station, @[member="Ben Watts"], the mysterious man who had come so far within this tournament, and @[member="Jared Ovmar"] The Glory Song, the favorite of the crowd. Those within the Cauldron screamed and screeched, they yelled and cheered on their favorite.

The Queens of the Cauldron let out chuckles as their subjects yelled, they were excited as well. A loud buzzer sounded, and the fight began.

Lights flickered on and off, as rubble levitated through the emptiness of space. It was truly a place of destruction and desolation. Where the hell did they find an abandoned space station on such short notice? Nemene's ability to make things happen was sometimes amazing. The space station in question was a ruined maze, chambers left and right. How the hell they were going to find each other here was a very big question.

Find each other? Yeah. They had been brought in blindfolded and left in separate locations. At least Jared had been blindfolded, of course he could not speak for his opponent. Not that the blindfold had done them any good. They had forgotten he was a mentalist, through the Force he had seen the path to the exit. Not that that helped him much, he had no interest in leaving. At least not before he was finished with his opponent.

Ben Watts.. they had called him. There had been a Ben Watts in the Jedi Order, the same one? Jared was curious. They said he was a Master of Illusions and Mentalism, well.. he might be. But he was the Glory-Song and he would sell his hide costly.

Now... to find that damn man. Hopefully they would not have any zombies and zombified Rancors floating around here, the last time he was in a space station like this one... well things got real. Very real.

And he did not want them to be that real anymore, that was not what he had signed up for in this Game of Stars and Wars. Give him some more Science-Fiction, maybe some more blasters and lightsabres and keep the zombies in the Fantasy-genre.

Another round to this wretched tournament, he was beginning to wonder why he even joined in the first place, but so far he had made it through two rounds without so much as activating his lightsaber. Now he found himself floating in an abandoned space station and the only thing he could do was cross his arms and pout. He had fought Omni, super commandos, countless sith lords, and multiple wars and now he found himself spinning in circles in a meditating position as he awaited his opponent.

His eyes were closed as he floated through the station and he kept his awareness up. There wasn't much he could do when it came to illusions so he was going to go back to the olden days of just winging it. This time he could actually feel his opponent within the force, unlike the last guy, who was a Vong. Or Vong Shaped, something like that, he couldn't remember and not that it mattered now. He could feel himself getting closer and closer to his opponent and he decided it was time to chip in his two cents.

Ready to please the masses? I am sure they are just as bloodthirsty as ever. He spoke through the force to the man, he knew he had a connection, he could feel it. The exiled Grandmaster awaited patiently for a response, ready to move on to the next round, it was crucial that he win so he could come face to face with the tournament organizers.

That moment when your mind is touched by a foreign entity, it was not a pleasant thing; to realize that your mind was open to anyone as long as they were strong enough. Seems like this lad was strong though, though he did have a pleasant tone to him. At least he was not a high-strung, arrogant little manchild like the last kid he fought. Jared could not help but smirk, when he remembered how easy Hayato had been to break. Ignorant welp, who thought himself above others just because he was a Jedi.

Yeah... Jared had problems with arrogant Jedi. He loved breaking them. It is a problem. We are working on it.

They are insatiable. I fought a Bull Rancor in the Cauldron once... they had been applauding for a minute or so and then demanded something else. Bloodthirsty idiots. At any rate, do we have to kill each other, or can we just discuss this as gentlemen? I am sure we can come to the agreement where you resign, before we both get vacuumed into outer space.”

Probably not though, he had been a Jedi and even ex-Jedi did not just fight in the Cauldron for the fun or the money. He was here for something, maybe he wished to halt the operations of the Queens, Nemene would just -love- that. Then again, Jared would not mind much if Ben was successful in his endeavor. Slavery was a despicable practice and most of his opponents had been slaves in the past.

While musing on about this all, he floated through the area.. trying to locate the former Grandmaster. Then he suddenly hit his head against a beam, the tone of the thread was set as Jared Ovmamarmamr started to rotate in all kinds of different directions because of the Force of the Hit.

At least he now knew not to muse too much while prancing about in zero-grav. Damn, that was going to be a bruise at the very least.

Good job, Jared... fighting has not even started and you already took a hit. Now if that ain't sportsmanship, than what was.
