DESCRIPTION
Overview

The To Vhin is fairly standard, using a Mandalorian Steel space frame for a light weight, durable frame, and AR-0B armor plating, known to be effective at reducing the amount of force and energy is absorbed by the hull. The Frame is able to handle heavy punishment and extreme g-forces during flight, but, as the To Vhin isn't made for dogfighting or direct combat in general. The armor, while resilient, isn't its primary defense.

The To Vhin's greatest defense is its ability to not be hit in the first place, using a Pair of Flare Launchers and a Chaff Launcher for missile countermeasures, and a deflector shield, roughly equivalent to a Chempat Defender Deflector shield used by the X-Wing series to great effect.

The To Vhin also uses a set of Hydrostatic fields allowing it to travel underwater, in liquid atmospheres, nebulae, and some gas giants without issue. It also has a single Cap Drain granting it partial resistance to EMP, Ion weaponry, and a single connor net during combat before this fixture must be repaired or replaced.

There is little special about the To Vhin's engines or reactor, though it does feature a set of Booster Thrusters, allowing it short bursts of enhanced speed and acceleration, allowing it to recover speed very quickly, giving it short Three-Second burns of speed equal to that of an Interceptor, once every minute. These burns are very situation dependent given their very short boost and very long recharge time, but it does allow it a few seconds of extra speed to deal with warheads or attempt to disengage hostiles.

Sensor and Targeting Equipment
The To Vhin-class Starfighter is very similar to the XJ3 X-Wing with its Sensor and Targeting equipment. Like that ship it uses a Fabritech ANs-5d Full-Spectrum Transceiver allowing it to detect space phenomena in every spectrum of light, heat, and the electromagnetic spectrum at standard range, providing and processing the data at blindingly fast speeds, allowing the pilot to remain aware of dozens of nearby phenomena, starfighters, or threats. To complement this system, a PA-9r Long Range Phased Tachyon Detection array is included, fitting into the nose of the vessel, allowing the starfighter to detect anomalies in the spectrum of light at extreme distances and process this information, giving the pilot notice of these objects with little to no lag despite the extreme distance between targets. It should be noted that this detection array only works in the spectrum of light, providing visuals without lag across vast distances. Also included are a Dedicated Energy Receptor, which a skilled operator can use to detect emissions from lasers, beacons, comlink transmissions, and thrust emissions as well as electromagnetic abnormalities. The system uses a focused beam and is intended to gather specific, detailed information from an already detected target, such as power fluctuations, shield levels, communications, and weapons fire. Because of its narrow beam, it is ineffective as an early threat device.

The To Vhin-class's Targeting computer is capable of assessing One thousand sublight objects, acquiring forty possible targets, and is programmed to detected and lock onto one hundred twenty specific sensor signatures, allowing its weapons to lock onto any number of signatures a normal ship emits under normal combat operation. This has the added benefit of allowing its missiles to lock onto gravitic and electromagnetic signatures, and have these signatures appear on its Holographic Imaging Targeting Board to assist in weapons locks.

Electronic Warfare Equipment
The Primary component of the To Vhin is the Sensor Scrambler array. The Sensor Scrambler has several modes of use, each filling a different role in combat, allowing for the To Vhin to operate in a number of different fields without needing to be modified or refitted. First, is the Ground Support role, in which its Sensor Scrambler is turned against targets on the ground from 3,000 meters or less altitude. The at this range, the array has little effect, but does cause a distortion in sensors to an area on the ground. These can be false sensor readings, sensor shadows, decreased accurate sensor range, and the like. Because this effects all sensors, it is rare for it to be deployed in direct combat, usually sent after artillery batteries, Anti-aircraft weapons, and command and control centers. Its effect covers an acre or two of terrain, enough to be effective, but doesn't encompass an entire battlefield

Second, the array can be used for Fighter Support, in which it has two modes. First mode is Hide Mode, in which it creates a bubble covering one hundred meter diameter where it is able to hide starfighter sized allies in a Sensor scrambling bubble, using a wide area Dedicated Energy Receptor Projector to absorb and block incoming long range sensor pings and transmissions broadcast by enemy ships, rendering the To Vhin, and starfighters within the field invisible to many enemy scanners, targeting computers, and incoming missiles. Mass Detectors and Visual scanners are immune to this style of sensor masking. This is most effective at long range against large sensors such as those found on Capital ships, and against starfighter-grade sensors even at combat range. This mode has the issue of being double blind for its allies. While the To Vhin isn't effected by its own Array, all other ships are, distorting friendly sensor boards and targeting computers the same as enemies. Often a To Vhin is used in conjunction with a squadron, hiding them as they close on an enemy, deactivating Hide Mode once they are within visual combat range.

Its Second mode is Blind, in which it operates as a quartet of Full Spectrum Distortion arrays, able to be turned on four enemy starfighters. These are able to block all scanners and targeting computers from those four fighters, using broadband transmissions and energy signals that interfere with sensors and targeting computers. Using a row of static discharge panels, the To Vhin also disrupts sub-space communications from those four fighters. This forces those effected to fire without targeting locks, greatly decreasing their abilities in combat. In this mode the arrays are fairly short range, only effective at standard dogfighting range.

Finally Capital Ship Support focuses its Blind Mode into a single concentrated beam, much like a miniaturized version of Mandal Hypernautics MH-EW05 Jamming Beam Projector. This allows a To Vhin fighter to effectively reduce a single weapon battery to visual targeting. Long Range weaponry are more heavily effected, as the delicate calibrations needed for accuracy at such ranges only need to be thrown off a little, while close range capital ship weaponry is hardly noticeably effected. Point defense weapons are also heavily effected, the fast tracking speeds and computer processors needed to keep up with fighters only need to be slowed down a little before a noticeable change is made, allowing the To Vhin to effect more weapon systems. Larger emplacements, such as Hypervelocity Guns, Assault Concussion Missile Launchers, and the like are normally fitted with more sophisticated targeting equipment, and require additional Jamming Beams as the weapon gets larger and larger.

Against Corvettes and Mid sized frigates a squadron of To Vhin fighters are sometimes able to effect the entirety of the ship, as their jamming systems become increasingly more prolific as more and more are used against a single ship, plateauing at this category of capital ships. More advanced targeting computers are less effected, and may require additional Arrays to be turned against it. The jamming beams used against capital ships are effective at roughly standard naval engagement ranges.

Weapon Systems
The To Vhin utilizes a modular weapons mount system, allowing squadrons to be built using different weapons as deemed necessary by the purchaser and rapidly refitted to a mission's requirements. Standard Weapons Mounts can accommodate Laser Cannons, Mass Driver Cannons, Ion Cannons, Heavy Blaster Cannons, and Particle Beam Cannons. These weapons are comparable to any other starfighter grade weapon and are always placed on the ship in matching pairs, meaning there is no mix and matching weaponry in standard mounts. Normally these fire as a pair, both firing simultaneously, or in a one-two punch setting. The To Vhin mounts them in a pair of Dual Gimbal mounts on the front of the craft with one hundred twenty degree traverse and sixty degree elevation and depression. These can be set for Stutterfire to preform optimally against Vong craft, firing many low power bolts with full power shots mixed in at random intervals. This allows them to exhaust a Dovin Basal more effectively.

Strengths:
  • Electronic Warfare: The To Vhin is an Electronic Warfare fighter, made for Air Support, Fighter Support, or Capital Ship Support when used in packs.
Weaknesses:
  • Low Armament: The To Vhin has less offensive weaponry than a TIE Interceptor or RZ-1 A-Wing, making them far less dangerous in dogfights.
  • Sluggish: The To Vhin is kind of slow for a fighter, weighed down a lot and is slower than a ship of its armament and defense.
Special Features:
  • Stealth Capabilities
  • Electronic Warfare Capabilities
  • Durable Armor
  • Modular Weapon Systems

I assume this is limited to the Mandos? if so please make a note of who it is limited to.

Speed Rating: 3
Make these 4 The powerful Ewar array It would be large and need power putting this more into a bomber area than a fighter.

Please add the "Special Features:" section back in and list any special abilities or features it has.
These would be
Stealth Systems
Electronic Warfare Capabilities
Modular Weapon Mounts
Heavy Armor
Advanced Targeting systems
Improved Maneuvering
Fast Hyperdrive

Please add the Strength: and Weaknesses: fields back in and list at least one strength and one weakness.

This will need development for the sub class 1 hyperdrive and the stealth technology. 15 posts will do. :)

isn't that the purpose of the Affiliation and Who can use this sections, which do denote, its for the Mandalorians.

It doesn't have these things. Its Targeting computer is straight from a T-65 X-Wing. It has a speed booster, three second boost once per minute, but no enhanced maneuverability.

In the sub already.

The rest is edited and the Dev is on its way.
