It had happened on a remote planet on the edge of republic space. Lilell didn’t like the outer rim, it was too lawless, it brought out her darker half far too easily. But she also couldn’t be too far into republic space, because then she would be caught, and even worse she could do more harm. So she took refuge on a small planet on the edge of republic space called Graad.
Graad was a sparsely populated wilderness planet that was mostly mesa and grassland. It was populated with mining colonies to harvest its minerals, and a few cities to be found as centers of industry and commerce, though not many. Thankfully there were not many people to be found, this made it the perfect place for Lilell to hide.
She’d taken refuge in the wilderness, fending entirely for herself and spending her days in meditation, trying to keep herself under control.
But then it happened, it was a dark day, a group of travelers came near, and her darker half had been starved so long that it was desperate. And her attempts to quell her own darkness were in vain. She got out, and she stayed free for a long time.
She went to the nearest village and went on a rampage. She killed many, and only some lucky few survived the day. Those that did survive brought news of a rogue Jedi. One that had slaughtered a colony. This news reached Coruscant, and the Jedi council. And they dispatched an agent to find this rogue Jedi and bring them in.
Lilell again retreated to the wilderness, trying desperately to keep the darkness from escaping a second time. Though the regret of her previous failure weakened her connection to the light, and was making it incredibly difficult to keep the beast caged.
