Description:
The Tir was designed for a specialized purpose, for use of One Sith Agents throughout the galaxy. Many people would argue that the One Sith care only for murdering and killing, yet they have an ulterior motive. The capture and taking of high priority targets.

This has been evident during the myriad of invasions that the One Sith have conducted. Throughout each one the conversion of Jedi and other high-ranking people has always been a priority. To facilitate this, and take the “choice” factor out of the ordeal the genius' at Titan Industries have been contacted for a specialized weapon for Agent of the One Sith. This specialized weapon was designed to stun targets and nothing else.

Some may argue a regular blaster could achieve this just as well, the issue however came with the strength of regular stun blasts.

The One Sith have opponents from everything from Humans to their own Sith Spawn, and thus variable strength is required in a stun blaster. As such the Tir was designed to be able to do just that, adjust its strength according to whatever the Agent is about to face. If the target is a human, the Stunner can be set to low yield, taking up only a tiny portion of the powerpack and rendering the target unconscious in one strike. On the polar end of this however if the target is for example a Hutt, the stunner can be set to high setting, taking up a massive amount of the powerpacks energy.

This energy is generally enough to take down almost any sized foe, including large beasts such as Rancors and many Sith Spawn.

The drawback of course is that at certain points it is difficult to assess just how much power one needs to stun a foe. For instance if an armored Human is attacking the Agent may shoot him with only a low yield shot, not enough to pierce the armor and thus only slowing him instead of rendering him inert. On the opposite end of the spectrum the shot yield may be too high and thus the target will be killed, their heart simply stopped by the force of the stuns hit.

Multiple hits from the Tir “stack” so to speak. If one targets a Hutt with several low yield shots hitting them 10-15 times the effects will eventually render the Hutt unconscious. The issue with this however is that it is incredibly easy to overshoot in this method, often causing cardiac arrest, and if not death, then permanent nerve damage.

After the fall of Titan Industries the Tir Stunner, along with many other products such as Asheran Armorweave, fell into production under Vanir Technologies.

Professor of Alchemy
Horrendous range, palty ammo, variable setting, specialized purpose. I like it a lot. Gets the job done and doesn't try to over extend. Abuse and suffer.
