It would be dark soon, Kian Karr knew this...in fact it was why he decided to meet now. The shadows that licked at the treeline hid him well. Wrapped tightly around him were the black robes of a Jedi Shadow, his hood was up and he was nestled by a tree scanning the path that lead back to the Jedi Temple. He had a very important meeting.

Enya May was a new student at the Jedi Temple, recently apprenticed to Jedi Knight [member="Corvus Raaf"], and Kian felt a bit guilty recruiting her for the task at hand. It would require her to lie to her master....it would require her to lie to everyone. Kian pushed that thought aside though. Dishonesty wasn't typically the way of the Jedi, but these lies would be necessary.

Kian had been mysterious and cryptic in his request to meet with the Jedi Padawan when he sent for Enya May. He was sure she was confused as to why they were meeting, and why they were meeting where they were....but Kian couldn't tell her more until she arrived.

The dying light caught her sapphire eyes making them shimmer a she looked around. Her long black hair was down and having fallen into her face she brushed it away, as she tried to locate the one she was meant to meet here.

Kian watched as Padawan Enya May entered the clearing. He watched her for several moments before stepping forward from the shadows.

"Greetings Padawan May." Kian said raising a hand and bowing his head in greeting. "I'm glad you made it here."

Kian eyed the human for a moment, trying to get a gauge over how she was feeling. He had asked her here under somewhat odd and secretive circumstances and didn't want her to be fearful or worried that she had done something wrong. Finally speaking again Kian indicated for the padawan to follow him as he began a slow walk around the clearing.

"I'm sure you have questions, but bear with me for a moment," Kian began, "what do you know of the attack on Ossus by the One Sith that ended in the theft of a Sith holocron?" Kian asked, wondering if the padawan had any knowledge about the events. "And for that matter, what do you know of the One Sith?" Kian asked.

Enya bowed her head in greeting " in all honestly i don't know anything. I've really not been here that long, and I did spend a good week or so trapped on Hoth after i did come here. I've only just now return. " As for the One Sith, i know the name but that is pretty much it. " She said

Kian nodded at her words. He had suspected she might not know due to her relative recent arrival among the Jedi.

"The One Sith are, currently, the greatest thread to the Galactic Republic. They are an organization of Sith Lords who hold their allegiance to a single Lord....an emperor if you will. They are.....a monstrous group of people." Kian said, images of numerous battles flashing through his mind.

"Ossus was attacked by them in order to seize control of a Sith holocron that was in Jedi custody." Kian said continuing to circle the grove. "The Sith slaughtered many....most of them younglings." Kian said, putting gravity and sternness in his voice. Then he turned around so that he was facing the padawan.

"They knew things....a great many things." Kian said, scanning the girls mind, not invasively but just prodding at the surface of her mind, "Some of that can be accounted for by the fact that the One Sith had infiltrated the Jedi in the past....but some of it can't." Kian took a moment before he finished the thought. He had thought long and hard about who he should come to with this, about who he should use to help him capture the Jedi who had betrayed them all, and he had decided that a newcomer was needed. He needed someone who was not around then....but who could cozy up to the other padawans and knights without it being obvious.

"There is a traitor among the Jedi."

Enya remained quiet as he spoke, taking in all that he was telling her. She shook her head softly " thats so sad" she said quietly.. as he finished she blinked and looked at him " wait how can that be and nobody actually know?" he asked.

Kian let out a breath at her words and his shoulders sank. It had been done before. The One Sith had infiltrated the Jedi before and as loath as he was to admit it, Kian believed they had done it again.

"If trained properly, it is possible to hide one's presence in the force. It is possible for a Sith to appear as a Jedi." Kian said and lead [member="Enya May"] to a fallen tree trunk on which the two could sit. Taking a seat, Kian continued.

"I brought you here because I believe I have narrowed down the possible suspects three padawans and one knight. They've recently left Ossus and are on Tython. I'd like us to go there, and I'd like you to ingratiate yourself with them. You'll need to befriend them...you'll need to make them believe, truly, that you are friends. And you'll need to use that friendship against them." Kian said. He understood what he was asking the padawan to do was horrible and went against much of what the Jedi taught. But they had to root out the traitor and regretfully, dishonesty was sometimes necessary.

"Can you do this? Can you befriend and betray your fellow Jedi in order to protect the Order?" Kian asked.

Enya nodded as she sat down with him and listen to what he said with the last quest she nodded her head softly " i understand, I am willing to do this to protect us." she said with a small smile.

Kian watched [member="Enya May"] for a moment after she had spoken. He stretched out with the force and his mind, looking for any sign that she was unsure or conflicted about it. Confident that Enya would be able to do it. Kian pressed on.

"Good," Kian said and handed the padawan a datapad. "These are the bios regarding the four suspects. Read them well, we leave first thing tomorrow morning." Kian said, rising from the log and walking off into the darkness.

Bio: Ralf was born on Alderaan but came to the Jedi when he was 10 years old. His mother and father were both alive and well until the recent Invasion of Alderaan by the One Sith, where both were killed. Ralf has yet to be taken under the tutelage of a master.

Species: Twi'lek
Sex: Female
Age: 15
Rank: Jedi Padawan
Bio: Allie was born on Nar Shaddaa. She was an orphan who lived on the street. When she was 8 years old, she pickpocketed a Jedi Knight and was brought to the Temple on Ossus when the Knight realized her connection to the force. Allie has recently been taken on as the Padawan of Jedi Knight Mecai Lorante.

Entry 3: Mecai Lorante
Species: Duros
Sex: Male
Age: 28
Rank: Jedi Knight
Bio: Mecai is a Duros from Duro and has been a Jedi Knight stationed at the Academy on Ossus for the past 5 years. Prior to this, he was trained on the Academy on Typhon in the way of the Jedi Guardian. Mecai distinguished himself and achieved Knight status due to his actions in defeating a One Sith insurgency group on the planet Metellos.

Sex: Female
Age: 20
Rank: Jedi Padawan
Bio: Sona was born on Typhon to a young Jedi who had started a relationship with another apprentice. She was given up by the padawan to be raised by the Jedi. She was raised by surrogates until she was old enough to begin her training and then was sent to Ossus.

" alright i'll give them a good read" she said standing up and looked at the pad before she headed off to her room after he had left.

Kian opened his eyes. They would be leaving hyperspace soon and, within the hour, they would touchdown on Tython. Turning to his right, he looked at the Jedi Padawan that sat next to him.

"So, what did you think of the documents I left you?" Kian asked, not being specific....just in case others were listening.

" interesting. I read them over and over until i fell asleep " Enya responded as she brushed her long black hair out of her face and looked at [member="Kian Karr"] with her sapphire blue eyes.

"Good," Kian said and then turned to look at the Jedi.

"How do you plan on ingratiating yourself with the padawans?" Kian asked, "have you selected out a particular padawan to target?" Kian asked.

"The youngest would perhaps be the easiest to become friendly with....but she isn't the keystone of the group....Sona is the oldest and likely the dominant of the three....so who will you target?" Kian asked, wondering how much thought the padawan had put into the assignment and wanting to gauge her strategy. Kian would be targeting Knight Lorante, monitoring his behavior and his day to day duties.

Enya thought over the information again " I like meeting people, So i will approach them as someone new and greeting people i don't know. I think i'll meet Ralf first" She added looking out at the stars for a few moments.

"Good." Kian said and turned away to look out of the viewport.

"We'll be landing soon. When we do, I'll make my way to Knight Lorante and you'll proceed with the plan." Kian said, "are there any questions before we touch down?" Kian asked. "Once we land, communication between the two of us will have to be done via secure comm channels and should be kept to a minimum." Kian said.

As Kian asked this question the ship was entering the atmosphere and would be at the Tython temple soon. He pulled his cloak around him tightly.

Enya shook her head " none at the moment" she said watching out the window at the planet below. reaching up she ran her finger threw her long black hair before tying it back out of her face.
