- Neutral Traits: Wise, Humorous, Determined
- Negative Traits: Naive, Stubborn
- Unique Beliefs:
1. Believes it is a force user's duty to use their abilities responsibly. Force sensitivity is a privileged blessing, not a personal tool. Coupled with this, Tiir views himself as an agent of the force first and foremost, rather than just a Jedi.
2. Tiir doesn't recognize the idea of a 'Gray' area, when it comes to the Force. There is the Light, and then there is the perversion (the Dark). The Dark Side is something to be expunged. Though technically not a Jedi anymore, he still aligns with a majority of their philosophy, albeit generally more reformist.
3. Believes that the Jedi (and agents of the force) are responsible for being 'Stewards'. This means protecting the weak, safeguarding nature, and using the Force to bring healing.
4. Believes that nobody, no matter how far gone, is capable of redemption, so long as they WANT to change.
5. Views Droids as sentient beings, treats them with courtesy
6. Total pacifist. Absolutely refuses to take a life. That said, he can and will defend himself and others.
- Fears:
1. The death of the innocent
2. Failing those who need him
3. Succumbing to the Dark Side (despite 5000+ years of being attuned to the light)
- Quirks:
1. Environmentalist, has a vested interest in wildlife, but especially plants.
2. Skilled botanist. Knows how to heal with herbs just as well as with the force.
3. Invented his own lightsaber form, Shakodu, focused on redirecting attacks from the enemy, and setting the opponent up to be disarmed as soon as possible. Shakodu is designed for short, decisive fights, blending aspects of other forms depending on situational context. Shakodu is hard to master, and has various means of being countered.
For example:
- Summary: Tiir is someone dedicated to doing what is right, and obeying the will of the Force. He's firmly aligned with the light, and still views himself as a Jedi, although holding a more spiritual & personal view of the Force.
STRENGTHS
1. In-tune with the force: Tiir is attuned to the force in a way very rarely seen among traditional force users. While not particularly powerful (by powerscaling standards), Tiir can be very dangerous in other ways.
For example, Tiir can use the following abilities almost naturally:
2. Amplifying Presence: Tiir's presence acts as an 'amp' for his companions, akin to Battle meditation, stemming from his nature as a healer. This obviously doesn't apply to force-dead and droid characters, though, there can also be other exceptions. Those under this affect will feel a 'warm' sensation, a non-force sensitive might have a sickness cured, or a force-user would feel energized after recently exhausting themselves. Tiir is the ultimate support character.
3. Unwavering Nature: Tiir's persistence is one of the best things about him. For over 5,000 years, he's refused to ever give up on a person, and still faithfully serves the force. He is obviously still tempted, and regularly put through storms, though, he always stays strong, determined to do as the force wills until his last.
WEAKNESSES
1. Naivety: Tiir's belief in redemption can sometimes hinder his better judgement, though, he still believes in offering mercy to those others would see as irredeemable.
2. Emotional Weight: Having lived for over 5,000 years Tiir has outlived most of his friends, often missing their deaths and having to mourn decades later. Tiir also believes he's never done 'enough', and always strives to do more. Whenever he misses an opportunity to help others, he blames himself for any losses. While this pent-up weight on him doesn't seem initially apparent to most, it threatens to tear him down, and he often battles against it every day.
3. Physical Weakness: Tiir is not a fighter, long-term anyway. And, as he continues to get older, he continues to tire faster. Most skilled duelists can defeat him in a straight 1v1, though, Tiir's knowledge of the Force often makes up for his lack of physical strength/prowess.
HISTORY
- Early life (Birth - 31y/o): Tiir was born in 4431 BBY, being adopted into the Jedi Order at infancy. Tiir was trained by a more 'liberal' master, before the Order had gotten stricter on doctrine and the Jedi code. He would typically avoid combat settings, preferring to be more direct in his efforts, going to backwater outer-rim worlds and bringing healing to those who needed it, fending off pirates, etc. During this time he would develop Shakodu, opting to tailor his dueling style to him, rather than vice versa. Though he did his utmost to avoid conflict, he recognized that protecting himself was necessary, and often saved lives where blind pacifism often wouldn't.
Tiir would leave the Order following the fall and death of Freedon Nadd, believing he could do more for the galaxy directly rather than remaining a direct agent of the Order (thus, leading him to leave). He would first begin his 'career' as a healer by helping the people of Iziz recover, Onderon having been left ravaged by the war.
- Post 4400 BBY: Tiir became increasingly in-tune with the Force after leaving the Order, often meditating for greatly extended periods, and, eventually 'perfecting' the hibernation trance. Trusting that the Force would guide him according to its will, he would often enter the trance whenever he felt compelled to do so, believing the Force would awaken him whenever it decided he was needed. This led to him awakening every 50-100 years, though, he'd often remain isolated to parts of the Galaxy most didn't care to visit (or didn't even know existed). Tiir became a poorly documented legend, someone who would show up, heal the sick, bless your village's harvest for a season, and one day... just be gone.
Over the next 5000 years or so, Tiir would often arise only 'when needed', and often skipped over lengthy periods of Galactic History, often having to pick up the pieces of what happened long after.
Tiir would be nicknamed "Father Nature" by a race of primitive beings, whom saw him as a sort of 'divine spirit'. Tiir liked the name, so decided to keep it. That said, he doesn't introduce himself by that title, insisting he is simply "Tiir".
Despite how long he's lived, Tiir has only set foot on about 1% of the planets in the Galaxy.
- 902 ABY: Tiir would recently reawaken following the Planeshift, the great disturbance of the Galactic & Force balance causing Tiir to stir from his hibernation. Now, Tiir does as he's always done: Act as a beacon of hope, bringing healing with him wherever he walks, seeking to obey the will of the Force, and oppose the imbalance of the Dark, wherever it may be.

For example:
- Numbers advantage (doesn't strictly mean the Shakodu user will lose, though, they have to pick whom to prioritize)
- Drawn out fights (Shakodu relies on ending fights as quickly as possible, if your opponent doesn't give you enough ample openings/you're unable to force them to give you openings, the user can become tired out from constant form-shifting, given Shakodu also has the user change their stance/movements frequently)
- Broken concentration (Shakodu depends on the user being in-tune with the Force, and needs their full concentration. The disruption of their concentration can hinder their performance)
- Summary: Tiir is someone dedicated to doing what is right, and obeying the will of the Force. He's firmly aligned with the light, and still views himself as a Jedi, although holding a more spiritual & personal view of the Force.
