The Ticsuti-Class Star Destroyer is a very common sight within the Chiss Ascendancy, and primarily serves as a patrol vessel. It is not uncommon to see this ship on the edges of Chiss space, protecting against incursions by hostile forces - usually smaller bands of pirates or criminals. Armed with an impressive array of sensor, targeting computer and communications jamming equipment, its main strength is providing support to more powerful vessels of the CEDF. However, against its usual prey, the Ticsuti is able to handle most small confrontations through its weapon systems and squadron support.
Since the reemergence of the Chiss Ascendancy, many changes have been put into the CEDF starships. The Tiscuti had undergone a near full redesign resulting in the increase in defenses, speed, and maneuverability in order to keep the status of superiority over other ships of it's class. Impervium was used to replace the previous hull and the engines have been significantly upgraded from it's predecessor.
