Tiberius Korvan is known as the youngest son of
Ignacious Korvan
. In the aftermath of his late father’s assassination and the collapse of the Dark Empire, Tiberius has struck out on his own in the hopes of one-day honoring his late father and restoring order to the Galaxy. He has spent his whole life hearing about the golden age of the Empire, and in the wake of seeing the state the galaxy currently finds itself, has been honing himself for what he sees as his destiny. Tiberius is a near-perfect image of his father, and has demonstrated himself as a very capable and formidable scion of the Korvan legacy.

...Centuries ago, clones were created for one reason.
Warfare.
The Galactic Republic, with its clone armies, prosecuted a civil war that nearly tore the galaxy asunder. At the war’s conclusion, clones fell out of popularity due to significant flaws in the science of the time. Accelerated aging, genetic mutation, and degradation; all reasons why cloning was ever seen as a short term solution to an ongoing problem.
As the Republic gave way to a Galactic Empire, the military structure within replaced its clones with a professional army, and held the galaxy under its shadow. Power, stability, order was the reality.In the centuries that followed, advancements in cloning technology were secondary, if not tertiary to advancements in droid and weapons technology - until the past few decades.
Upon ascending to power within the hierarchy of the New Imperial Order, which in turn birthed a new Empire -
Ignacious Korvan
clawed his way alongside a ruling class of other senior figures to the top of the heap, through a gamut of political outmaneuvering and assassinations. Yet as history would show, these would be the waning, tumultuous years leading to the collapse of the Empire due to an absent Emperor and an empty throne. Infighting grew rampant, with external threats and domestic unrest paving a pathway to inevitable demise.
So it was that the ever-calculating Grand Moff took a hard look at the legacy he would leave behind should something happen. He had two natural born children to his name, both of whom were judged as unworthy successors to his place in any future Imperial state. Varos, for his part, was judged to be an idealistic fool by his father, who in turn decided to abscond with some common former soldier to father whelps of his own before disappearing on some personal crusade. Sabine was young, and even to Ignacious’ personal standards; too harsh and calculating to the point of allowing her emotions to get the mastery of her. Part of that could be ascribed to youth, but he did not foresee her as capable of becoming dispassionate enough to be a stabilizing force within the Empire.
It was then that Ignacious was confronted with his own mortality. Yet it was also through a series of unlikely events, nearly resulting in the murder of Ignacious himself, that an opportunity presented itself. Utilizing his connections and considerable resources, Ignacious funnelled significant funding into a top secret program to genetically enhance elite soldiers within the Imperial military, forming his famed Death Mask bodyguard unit. After perfecting the science needed for this application, further development resulted in the ability to create a near-perfect clone of a host, with very minor DNA strands needed from a secondary source to fill in gaps and bolster the genetic code.
So it was that Tiberius was born, in a tank, within a cold and dark room; the spitting image of his father, save for one detail - deep red hair.
THE DARK EMPIRE
Eventually, the Empire would collapse, with all that remained being fragmented remnants under the control of despotic warlords. Ignacious rose as one of the foremost of these warlords, due in large part to secret preparations for a power base he made in expectation of this collapse. Tiberius’ childhood was framed by instability from the start. From youth on, he was taught how to survive, and how to maintain order amidst chaos. While normal youths played outside, learned their sums and letters, and rough-housed with their peers; Tiberius learned to read star charts and service manuals, tactical and strategic theory, and how to defend himself unarmed and outnumbered. Every aspect of his life was controlled and curated under the watchful eye of his father until he came of age, and was inducted within the naval command structure of his father’s fleet. While some would suspect such a posting to be comfortable and unchallenging given who his father was, the reality was the opposite.
Tiberius was pressed harder than even well connected recruits, with explicit orders from his father to those tutoring the son, to give the boy ‘no quarter’. This resulted in an environment which forged Tiberius into a very capable junior officer, and which also afforded him a reputation that would have been deprived had Ignacious engaged in nepotism. Quickly, Young Korvan ascended the ranks within the Imperial Remnant by his own merit, and comported himself with distinction in the formative years of the Dark Empire - the unholy state birthed from the union between Korvan’s Imperial State and the shattered remnants of Darth Solipsis’ Brotherhood of the Maw.
While many questioned the reasons why Korvan sought this unholy alliance with the Empire’s former mortal enemies, Tiberius stood as his father’s foremost of supporters; fully convinced that this union would result in bringing stability to the Galaxy, with Solipsis and his ilk being a temporary inconvenience to be dealt with later.
Yet as fate would have it, they were all of them... deceived.
During the opening offensive of the Dark Empire into the Core Worlds, Solipsis orchestrated the assassination of Ignacious Korvan, under the auspices of a noble sacrifice, which turned the former Imperial Despot into an immortal figurehead for Imperial dominance. But Tiberius would soon learn the truth through the few loyalists who knew of the secret plot, including
Zethran Cott
. It was then that the truth of what had happened would forever shape the destiny of the young Korvan.
He learned of the brainwashing, the manipulation, and outright grandeur that seduced his father - all too late, as he was forced to accept his failure with his sacrifice.
AFTERMATH
In the years that followed the death of his father, and the reformation of the Dark Empire into yet another Imperial state, and its inevitable collapse - Tiberius roamed the galaxy removed from the conflicts abroad. Instead, he led his small and battered fleet from system to system, culling pirates and criminal entities in exchange for resources and safe harbour among unaligned or neutral planets. He would eventually make connections with a secretive organization that has aided in the formation of other Imperial States, with aspirations to bring a more stable one to bear, and thus herald another age of Order and Prosperity. It is within this initiative that Tiberius believes he can honor the legacy of his late father, and “do what must be done.”

PERSONAL
It is undeniable that Tiberius is the son of Ignacious. It has been said the two are near-mirror images of each other, minus the hair color difference. He stands above average in height, and is of a slight but masculine build. His personality is near-identical as his father, if not slightly more reserved. Tiberius is a natural tactician; methodical, ruthless, cunning - Young Korvan promises to be the second coming of his formidable father in almost every way.
