Welcome, Ladies and Gentlebeings, to the place where nightmares (and the occasional luxury resort) become reality. From legitimate (and less so) thingamajigs related to my company, to shiny new toys for the Krath, this is the place to find it!

If you feel the need to criticise or advise, feel free to throw me a message on Discord, where I go by Deadcurze#3403. I don't mind, in fact, I encourage criticism! How am I to improve, after all, unless I get feedback along the way.

STANDARD FEATURES

  • The Krath Recon Carrier is outfitted with all the features and facilities one would expect from a vessel of its size and purpose.
This includes, but is not limited to, the following facilities: Command Bridge, Flight Control Bridge, and Lifeboats [2].

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • N/A
Strengths:
  • Hyper-Dedicated Carrier: With the majority of its space dedicated to a massive, relative to the size of the vessel, hangar, the Resolute-class is entirely dedicated to its role as a carrier, among other things resulting in a complete lack of armaments.
  • Full Speed Ahead: Outfitted with a powerful set of ion engines to allow the vessel to quickly get in, deliver its fighters, and get out, the Krath Recon Carrier is quick enough to outrun even most interceptors.
Weaknesses:
  • Cramped: With around 70% of the vessel's open space dedicated solely to the hangar, the Resolute-class is able to carry an astoundingly large fighter complement for its size, though it is unable to carry certain larger kinds of starfighters, and the lack of spare room means that these vessels require more frequent resupplying than most.
  • Noncombative: As a result of dedicating so much space to the hangar, the designers of the Krath Recon Carrier were unable to find room and power for even the slightest of weapons, with its only offensive capability being a ramming action, though these are, for obvious reasons, quite rare.
  • Maintenance Nightmare: Unable to fit a proper shield generator, the Resolute-class relies almost entirely on its durable hull plating to repel enemy assaults; while this functions well enough, it means that taking anything but the smallest of hits will slowly wear down its defences, with the hull frequently needing repairs after even minor skirmishes.
  • Full Speed Ahead: Despite its powerful engines, the Krath Recon Carrier suffers from a scarcity in maneuvering thrusters, making it difficult for it turn quickly; to compensate for this, it was designed to be able to use its main engines to quickly spin around, though this carries with it great risk for the vessel in combat scenarios. It is, after all, not easy to dodge enemy fire while your main thrusters are being used to spin around, as opposed to taking evasive action.
Description:
Originally commissioned to complement the Endurance-class Destroyer, the Resolute-class Ultralight Carrier is an unconventional design, to say the least. Rather than being big and bulky like many carriers, the Krath engineers simply gutted the prototype of everything but the essentials, including weapons, proper shielding, and the officers' lounge.

Effectively a hangar with a ship around it, rather than a hangar in a ship, the so-called Krath Recon Carrier has still proven highly efficient in its niche; while entirely unable to contribute in active combat, its high speed will generally allow it to swoop in, deploy its two squadrons, and desperately dash to safety before the enemy can tear through its relatively feeble defences and render it nothing but space debris.

For this reason, the vessels are frequently used for patrol duty; safer regions might see them deployed alone or in pairs, though more dangerous or strategically important routes will typically see two to four of these vessels accompanying a single Endurance-class, with the Krath Destroyer typically rushing to face threats in order to shield its smaller and considerably weaker counterparts from enemy fire. Despite their fragility, these vessels are just as often assigned to larger fleets, though under the understanding that they are to remain at the centre or rear of the Krath fleet, with larger vessels physically shielding them from enemy fire.

STANDARD FEATURES

  • The Endurance-class is outfitted with all the features and facilities one would expect from a vessel of its size and purpose.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • N/A
Strengths:
  • Resilient: Living up to its name, the Endurance-class is outfitted with powerful shielding and an unusually thick hull to boot, allowing it to
  • Powerful: Built to slug out damage as well as take it, the Endurance-class is outfitted with an extensive array of weaponry, which are positioned so as to allow as broad firing arcs as possible, while still being able to direct its full wrath forward. Especially notable is its heavy turbolasers, which can be used to devastating effect against other capital ships.
  • Versatile: Importantly, the Endurance-class is able to fill a wide range of roles efficiently: This includes front-line combat, patrols, and even transportation; in the case of the latter, it is not optimised for maximum carrying capacity, though its powerful defences make it a good choice for transporting valuable supplies and elite forces.
Weaknesses:
  • Turning Speed: As a result of its stocky build and thick hull, the Endurance-class suffers from a below average turning speed for a vessel its size.
  • Starfighter Complement: With a great deal of space dedicated to its thick hull, numerous weapons, powerful reactor cores, and expansive storage facilities, the Endurance-class is only able to carry a single measly squadron of Starfighters.
  • Rear Vulnerability: While the stocky construction of the bridge makes it far less vulnerable to Starfighter assaults than some of its counterparts, this comes at the cost of blocking the rear firing arc of most of the vessel's weapons, making that a natural attack vector for nimble enemies, especially since the engines, by necessity, are less heavily plated than the rest of the vessel.
Description:
After seizing control of their world from the remnants of the Galactic Alliance, the Krath found themselves in a precarious position; after the fall of the Galactic Alliance, lawlessness had plagued the Core, with threats both large and small looming from every corner of the contested region.

To combat this new threat and assert their sovereignty, the fledgeling administration commisioned a new frigate from Koros Spaceworks, a company which had long held ties to their secretive organisation. In accordance with the company's typical design style, the Endurance-class sports a particularly thick hull, while retaining a sleek and streamlined design. As a result of the varied threat picture facing the Krath, the decision was made to avoid undue specialisation, allowing these powerful vessels to combat smaller groups of pirates and other outlaws for a while, before seamlessly transitioning into service in a larger fleet.

As a result of these virtues, these so-called "Krath Destroyers" quickly became a staple of the Krath fleet, which utilised their formidable presence to scare enemies into submission while simultaneously assuring the Tetan people of their dedication to their safety.

STANDARD FEATURES
  • The Supremacy II-class is outfitted with all the features and facilities one would expect from a vessel of its size and purpose.

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • N/A
Strengths:
  • Invasion Carrier: Sporting a complement of ten squadrons of starfighters and numerous support craft, the Supremacy II is exceedingly well suited for its role as a dedicated carrier, with its vast passenger quarters and expansive storage halls being able to hold legions of soldiers and the droves of atmospheric vessels and ground vehicles needed to support them.
  • Powerful Defences: Featuring a thick hull and heavy shielding, the Supremacy II's defences were designed to withstand extensive enemy fire, though its scarcity of high-yield weaponry makes it clear that the vessel is not designed to operate without escorts.
Weaknesses:
  • Lumbering Behemoth: Being barely more manoeuvrable than your average space station and fairly slow to boot, the Supremacy II is all but incapable of everything but simple manoeuvres, and even they take time.
  • Dedicated Support: While the quartet of long-range turbolasers mounted on its ventral hull are especially well suited for precise orbital bombardment, the Supremacy II lacks the firepower to stand up to most capital ships at range, let alone up close. It is, however, outfitted with a large array of anti-missile and anti-starfighter weaponry, though even this is lacking when compared to vessels designed to take a more active role in naval engagements.
Description:
In a bygone age, the Krath were conquerers. In their Holy Crusade, entire worlds fell before their onslaught, an onslaught led by their aptly named Supremacy-class Attack Ships.

Much has changed since then.

After the fall of the Galactic Alliance, as the Krath once more moved to impose their wills upon the stars, they needed a new cruiser to serve the same purpose. Inspired by these designs of old, the Krath leadership commisioned a successor from Koros Spaceworks, the Teta-based company that had once designed and manufactured the original.

Of course, the powers of the Galaxy have long since moved away from the idea of a single vessel serving every role in the navy. The new Supremacy, measuring in at around seventy-five percent longer than the original, would be no jack-of-all-trades. No, the new Supremacy was designed to be a support ship first and foremost; notably, this specialisation, alongside the sixfold increase in volume when compared to the original, allows the Supremacy II to carry a truly staggering amount of Starfighters, soldiers, vehicles, and supplies.

It may not be much use in a direct firefight and it might not be very graceful, but when it comes to deploying swarms of Starfighters and hordes of soldiers, few ships compare.

The Mask of Lies [X]
tw5G8wMl.jpg

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: Create a nifty artefact to allow Thuux to commit all sorts of heinous acts with impunity.
  • Image Source: DeviantArt | Gloroh & Tartauris
  • Canon Link: Sith Talisman
  • Primary Source: N/A
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: House of Progress
  • Affiliation: Thuux Zethrux
  • Model: The Mask of Lies
  • Modularity: No

  • Production: Unique
  • Material: Alchemised Bone
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Face Stealer: While wearing the Mask of Lies, a Force User can "steal the face" of an incapacitated being, a process that takes around fifteen minutes and is excruciatingly painful. While this ordeal is perfectly survivable, it has numerous side effects, including but not limited to persisting fatigue, muscle atrophy, dizziness, and in some cases frequent episodes of psychosis.
  • The Masks We Wear: The mask itself is capable of holding five "faces" at a time; by focusing on one of these stolen identities, the wearer can change their own body to look, feel, smell, and sound like their victim, with the change taking everything from a thirty seconds for minor changes to thirty minutes for particularly extreme changes. Generally speaking, it is not possible for the wearer to transform into a being with more than twice their body mass or less than half their body mass. While able to deceive most physical senses and virtually all sensors, this change does not cover force signatures and the like, making it all but impossible to deceive force users that know the victim.
  • Hall of Faces: While the number of faces the mask can hold is limited, it is possible to create purpose-built sorcerous mannequin heads that can hold spare "faces". This process would take around four hours of work for a sorcerer, or eight for a novice sorcerer.
Strengths:
  • Face Stealer: Through the cruellest of Sorcery, the Mask of Lies allows its wearer to steal the faces of their victims and temporarily transform their own body into a perfect facsimile, though this change does not extend to their physical or mental abilities. (Disclaimer: This item is meant solely for deception. It does not, in any way shape or form, confer any advantages unique to the victim or the victim's species.)
  • The Mask Within: Importantly, the mask is able to "meld" into is wielder, both in their normal form and in stolen forms, though unconsciousness, death, force nullification fields, or powerful burtsts of Force Light/Lightning will cause the mask to reemerge on their faces.
Weaknesses:
  • Even Lies have Limits: In addition to the limitations on how large or small the desired shape can be, more drastic changes take longer to transform into. Importantly, drastic changes also carry with it a number of risks, including a chance of serious injury should the change be reversed too quickly.
  • Eyes of the Worthy: While the faux forms are all but perfect on the physical plane, it does not change the force signature of the user. Furthermore, anyone transformed by this mask will appear like a shifting mass of blackness when viewed through Force Sight, see the second image.
  • Truth Will Out: Having never been meant to be permanent, the wearer will revert to their normal forms upon unconsciousness, including sleep. Furthermore, force nullification fields and especially powerful blasts of Force Light or Force Lightning can violently force the wearer back to their normal form; should the stolen form be drastically different than their normal one, this bears with it the risk of serious injury, typically internal bleeding and blunt force trauma.
  • [The Lies We Tell Ourselves: dd Stranger syndrome.]
DESCRIPTION
For many years, Thuuxx Zethrux has been an amasser of wealth and a collector of oddities. Among the most prized items ever to have come into his possession was a small number of original texts from the time of Adjunta Pall, detailing his experiments and philosophy as transcribed by some of his close followers. By themselves, the texts held little knowledge that could not be found among the Sith Alchemists of today, and since Zethrux himself had neither the skill nor the inclination to take up that art, the texts were relegated to a heavily secured vault on Empress Teta.

This would all change after corporate dealings brought the Falleen into contact with the eccentric Sith Knight Adrian Vandiir. After learning of the younger man's insatiable lust for knowledge and growing collection of Sith relics, Zethrux made a number of backdoor inquiries, eventually setting up a meeting between the pair.

As a result of this meeting, the young Knight set out to create a talisman for Zethrux, a talisman to allow the ambitious mentalist to engage in less than moral dealings without compromising his identity. After choosing the form of a mask, skull fragments from recently deceased test subjects were alchemically fused together, forming a smooth and all but impervious surface well-suited for further force-imbuement.

Rather than relying on the creativity and energy of its wearer, the Mask is designed to violently extract part of the victim's very essence, perfectly replicating just about every part of their body at the point of extraction, with the notable exception of their presence in the Force. While extremely difficult and time-consuming, alterations to already extracted "faces" is possible, though even something as simple as ageing it is likely to require days of dedicated work from a capable Sorcerer.
