While in the middle of their training session, her Master's comlink chirped and the disembodied voice on the other side said she was needed right away. So CJ watched as her Master quickly left the training room. CJ didn't know many Jedi but the one she had grown to know was her own Master. And what ever it was that called her away must be important. CJ had seen and heard other Padawans question everything their Master's done or said, but CJ was not one of them. If her Master wanted her know something, she would tell her. If her Master wanted to keep something from her, she did and CJ never questioned it. Besides, her Master was also the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order so it was important for her Master to keep her safe, even if that meant keeping things from her. CJ respected that.
CJ decided to continue with the lesson herself while she awaited the return of Master Raaf. Calling the energy of the Force to her, she began to channel it through her mind moving several objects across the room. CJ had an understanding of telekinesis, or she thought, before her Master taught her a better and easier way to manipulate objects. Her Master's way was less taxing on her mentally.
When she concluded the lesson and her Master had yet not returned, she moved on to working with her Force Barrier. At the onset of learning it, CJ had pushed herself to far. Now, she could raise and hold the barrier much more efficiently than before. Practice was known to breed perfection. The glowing energy engulfed her body as she held fast to keeping it up. Unfortunately there was nothing she could employ to 'attack' her so she could see how far along her barrier had come.
Again, she concluded the lesson and still no Master Raaf.
CJ was just about to retrieve her lightsaber to practice her forms when her own comlink chirped. It was Master Raaf requesting that she meet her at the docking bay area where her Master's vessel was stationed. She replied that she was enroute and headed toward the docking bay. Upon arriving, she bowed her head to Master Raaf. A sign of respect she only gave to her Master.
"We going somewhere, Master," she inquired failing at keeping her enthusiasm in check.
