Description: The Thul reaper, was designed to wipe the floor, with lightly armoured vehicles, and medium armoured personal. This was done by putting a wall of continuous blaster fire in front of them, to repel the enemy or keep the defenders heads down. Whilst on back pack the weapon has to be dismounted before reloading. This can take time, and require reserve backpack to be available, also unless in power armour, the operator has to remain stationary whilst firing. This is due to immense weight of the weapon, and would be impossible to fire accurately due to vibrations of it. If this is used in this manner, usually a second man goes with them with a spare ammo pack and rifle.

However in tripod mode, the weapon is stationary and becomes much more accurate. This is due to tripod removing a lot vibrations, and the deflector shield giving him more time to aim. As well as this the second man can increase the fire rate, by changing ammo packs, and cooling the gun to prevent over heating. When in this mode there are usually a supply of coolant and ammo packs near by for him to use to help the operator. The coolant is pumped in around the barrel, and as it is hot coolant comes out of an other nipple. As for the power packs it has two plug in points, so one can be loaded as another is being depleted. While using a tripod and the shield is up, the operator can increase the power or decrease it depending on need, this helps extend the life of the shield.

Like the F-WEB, I'd like to see something that discusses how the shield is operated or controlled, whether by an extra crewmember, computer program, assistant droid, or something of that nature.

Otherwise, this looks good to go.

[member="Elaine Thul"], it could be that I'm tired, but I don't see anything about how the tripod attached shield projector is controlled.

Of course, it doesn't have to be controlled, but if you want optimum efficiency for the shield, you might want something that can control the amount of power being diverted to the shield to balance the energy consumption going to the gun and the generator. That way, if the weapon isn't taking much enemy fire, you don't have a devote a large amount of its power to the shield. Conversely, if the weapon is under a heavy attack, you can shut energy from the weapon's fire rate to keep the shield up.

That's why the F-Web adds another crewmember to it's operation compared to the normal E-Web.
