Tycho's Colony, Prospect World "Amber Six"
Wyl Sector
They called it Amber Six. A half frozen world located just of the tail of the Hydian Way. It wasn't no-man's land but it was close. Tycho's colony had existed for just less than eight years and their headway on the planet had been slow. They were a research group out of Milta with about eighty years in the business. Bunch of tall purple-skinned eggheads working alongside a cadre of mercs. Living in nothing but prefab shelters and camping gear so far. At the least the local wildlife was behaving. Something had to be going right on this lost frozen rock. Life was slow, and boring.
Jerry had just arrived from Republic space in reply to a scouting report of ancient Force Artifacts located in a nearby ruin. Though, she wasn't optimistic. Ninety present of these reports are nothing more than wild goose chase across burning desert sands. Maybe this time she would enjoy the colder weather at bit more.
Near the equator the weather was almost normal. Thunderstorms, rolling fog, and even a few fairly sunny days too. It was nice but didn't stop the ground from feeling frozen and slippery all the time. Jerry's Starfighter always seemed to cause the ground to thaw a bit as it landed. Blow the last bits of snowy powder from the yellow grass. She always remembered to park somewhere warm.
"Off for another round of hide-and-seek today eh?" One of the mercenaries called.
"No. Lunch time. Think I'll hunt me some grilled cheese sandwiches today! Hehe." Jerry shouted back.
She was sitting in her yellow jacket all the way atop her Starfighter. Unpacking her lunch kit and finding a warm place to enjoy the sunny skies. The small colony buildings usually did a terrible job of stopping the artic winds but today it was calm and peaceful. She could finally eat in peace.
She looked like a foreign soldier apart from her red Zeltron skin. Her steel helm sat beside her and her disruptor rested easily inside her cockpit. If it wasn't for the Republic Symbols about her outfit she would have blended easily with all the armed guards about the place. Tycho's Colony never suffered for wandering gunmen. But Jerry kinda liked it that way. She was a Jedi Ranger herself. A wanderer and playful spirit at heart.
Yep. Just another silly Zeltron girl stopping for the afternoon on a lost planet to enjoy the sun and eat some chow. Hell' of a way to live.
