Throwing down the Gauntlet [Interest Check]

To "throw down the gauntlet" is to issue a challenge. ​

And I challenge you!​

Azrael has yet to have a real one on one -- player versus player battle, and I aim to change that. He is a Field Marshal of the Mandalorians, and boasts a few unique advantages to battle. Chief among them an Alchemized bionic arm that can deal some serious damage. He has been trained by a former Mand'alor, a Havoc Squad boxer, and an Iron Knight. He is also responsible for taking down and slaying a Cyborg Terentatek. ​

I do not simply want to fight the first person that pops up in the thread - as I want a real and strong story arc to overshadow the battle itself and give it purpose and meaning. Every thread I've put Azrael in has been for a reason, he's grown. He is my first character and I have put the most work into him and his story. I will be picking my opponent based on the best story idea, so think on it a bit and offer what you will. This will be a non-fatal bout, unless you want your character to be slain - and even then it will depend highly on the story. I do not have a problem in facing a Force User either, so it's anyone's game if you give a good enough reason to go up against the one armed half-blood.

2.) That is not for me to decide, but killing a Mand'alor does not advance you into the title. The Mand'alor is normally chosen as a successor - and they are always vode.

I cannot tell if this was sarcasm or not, but I was looking for legitimate interest.

It's literally one of the only ways to gain the title, its how Ulic Qel-Droma gained the loyalty of Mand'alor the Indomitable and how Darth Maul took the title from Pre Vizsla.

While Luminous was raised as a Mandalorian, and in Mandalorian controlled space, she doesn't adhere too strongly to the Mandalorian honour system. She'll also hunt down and willingly kill other Mandalorians for a price. She's about to hunt down one right now, actually, in an another thread. If you wanted to do a story about this, I'd love too.

Not really, but if you would rather fight another one of my characters we could do that as well.

[member="Sven Talith"] fought against the Mandalorains in the original Sith Empire/Mandalorian War and is the son of Darth Moridin the guy who started the War.

[member="Soliael Devin Talith"] has killed a few Mandalorians back in the day of the old Sith Empire as well. Also the Son of Moridin

[member="Rahvin Talith"] is the son of Nemene Talith who took Mia's eye and tortured her. The Grandson of Moridin.

...Man Taliths really don't like Mandalorians for some reason.

I could see that drumming up interest for other Mandalorians, but Azrael hasn't been really involved in any of that, and he's not a bandwagon kind of Mando. It'd have to be something personal to him, or something he has actually been involved in. With the case of Luminious for instance, a Mandalorian hunting down another Mando for pay -- depending on who it is, and why, that might be enough to bring her into Azrael's sights.

Navio is her first target, and then Adenn. They're both Mandalorian Bounty Hunters. So it's not only the Mandalorian code she's breaking, but the Bounty Hunter's guild code.

That is agreeable. As there is a Bounty on Navio, you could learn of this. Rumors that a Mando is attempting to kill other Mando's, but I'm not sure how or who would tip you off.
