[+] One Smart Blueberry Cookie – Generally when one is in the field of active chemistry and pharmaceuticals they are really quite clever. There is no exception to this rule here, Skarda is one smart blueberry cookie.
[+] Cool Customer – Skarda is a woman of calm composure, even in dire situations. Of course, this a strength due to the fact that she won’t be going into meltdown when situations turn south. There’s no fainting damsel to be found here.
[-] Non-Combatant – With the exception of a small hold-out personal blaster, Skarda is not a woman versed in combat. Not melee nor ranged. She might not be perturbed in the situation of a fight but she won’t be much help either.

If you’ve gotten this far and don’t realise that Skarda is a Chiss, well you have greater problems facing you than reading the rest of this character sheet.
As with all of her species, she has blue skin, red eyes and black hair. Down to the deeper details, like most Chiss, Skarda almost holds an air of imposing about her. Perhaps it is due to the reputation of her people, or maybe it is from the way that she holds herself, calm, dignified and aloof. Perhaps it is the elegance of her facial structure, and a head held high.
Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s Maybelline.
In human standards Skarda would be considered very tall, in Chiss standards she is just slightly above average in height. Her frame is fairly slender, due to time spent in the laboratory rather than the within military
An archetypal Chiss, Skarda is everything you would expect.
Polite, educated and calm.
She is not a woman heavy on the emotion, opting to view things from a state of logic rather than a state of sentiment, as Chiss society is about as cold as the environment of their homeworld.
As knowledge is important within the Chiss Skarda holds education in high regards, giving her a curious edge, particularly in the realms of science (which is a given due to her profession) but she also displays an interest in other cultures and their philosophies.
To a certain degree, she is also fairly xenophobic, finding other sentient species in the galaxy to be lesser and generally viewing them with a sense of distrust.
Born upon a Space Station in Chiss space, Skarda was lucky enough to avoid the frigid realm of Csilla through her childhood.
Unfortunately, her childhood was marked by much different and more trying difficulties. At the age of four the girl encountered severe issues with her heart (or more specifically heart valve disease). Thankfully living in a universe with advanced medical technology meant that all she required was a mechanical replacement.
The after effects of such a procedure came down to medication, a simple anti-clotting drug that was required daily afterwards. Not a terribly big deal in an already structured environment.
However, it did breed an interest in science. Initially Chiss biology attracted her, the failing of her own vital organ breeding a curiosity to delve deeper into the ‘why’ and ‘how’ from her own experiences. However, one evening upon taking her medication, curiosity changed paths.
Internal organs were confined, there was only so much that could be done within the body. However, medicine had almost infinite applications, already drugs provided so much within the galaxy. Narcotics, poisons, medicines. For pleasure, pain or aid, there were so many ways they could be applied, and so many ways that hadn’t even been considered yet.
Chemistry and pharmacy became her focused school, and into her adult life she continued upon that path. Eventually, moving to a research station with a focus upon stimulants, particularly those employed in battle.
Skara was content in this, but with one eye on the future the woman hoped that she could develop something for her own ailment.
