STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

  • Mecho-Deru: From a young age Thogad felt a certain connection to machines. Watching the helper droids carry about their duties in raw precision fascinated him. In his early youth, he tinkered with droids. Thogad began with simple maintenance of machines before he yearned to learn more. Soon he broke down each and every droid he could get his hands on. He studied their mechanical functionality, their intelligence protocols, and began to make adjustments to correct failures in design. By adulthood, he was found by the Trade Federation who soon put him to work. With the Trade Federation's resources and technological exceptionalism, he learned and even excelled in droid-engineering. However, he soon too learned his connection with droids was not a mere coincidence. He found a certain... connection through the mystic. Having spent time researching, studying, and practicing his force infantile force abilities with the droids he created, Thogad soon understood droids beyond their circuits and software. Over the years, he honed his craft with the knowledge and training provided by others with understanding of Mechu-deru. It did not take long for him to push for incorporation this knowledge in his designs.
  • Techno-fetishist: Thogad's fascination and obsession with technology and more specifically droid engineering has left him with a near lifetime of experience in the manufacturing and development of droids. His obsession extends towards not only the physical mechanical side of droid engineering, but the intelligence protocol software behind it. The droids he develops, while extremely costly, are often worth the price. Thogad specifically fixates on mitigating potential risks associated with utilizing battle droids, applying his understanding to develop not only better droids but auxiliary support technologies as well. Thus, any technology which can be utilized in some manner for his development, will in time be reverse engineered and implemented.
  • Experience in Age: As like any other of his race, Thogad is blessed with a long lifespan and has chosen not to waste it. Most of his life and time has been spent honing his understanding and experience in droid-craft and mecho-duru applications. Hundreds of years given the tools and resources to grow unmitigated by the troubles of the Galaxy (mostly). As such, his experience provides him with a treasury of knowledge.

  • Frailty in Age and by Choice: Despite Thogad's connection to the force and understanding of Mecho-Duru, he did very little to apply his knowledge of the force for combat let alone physical combat. Thus, he is frail and his age certainly has not helped. Such was reinforced by his profound belief that all problems may be resolved by progress of technology.
  • Dissasociation: Thogad's obscene obsession with his crafts has left him unable to empathize or understand those different from him. From average citizens, to warlords, to administrators, Thogad has found himself unable to associate let alone properly communicate with others not like himself. This has brought difficulty in social situations, often angering those he does not understand.
