The Planet, Commoner was many things though beyond it's well-to-do good looks and political charm, Veiere had learned to feel something greater in his new found place; he had spent quite a number of weeks beside the Madame President, Kay Larr, serving not only as her Advisor and guide but also as a close and trusted friend. Through her and her position in politics and the trade worlds financial ties, Veiere had been gifted the opportunity to slowly build up his own movement, albeit small and insignificant for the most part, yet living in the harmonious sanctity of the Force and continuing to practice the ways of the Light Side, long after his leave from the Jedi Order of the Galactic Republic.

The Church of the Force, many people had taken a disliking to the name as it spelled out a religion for many different races not understanding the concept around the name in that the church was in the faith of the people, both moving towards serving the Force as the Jedi Order had once done in it's unified body, but also encouraging others to respect the boundaries of the Force and to know that it's power was not something to be feared, but that its power was also something to be used in modest tidings and mediated. In truth, the name was little in meaning where the purpose was an ambitious and humble dedication of the belief that the Galaxy needs the Jedi Order back in full strength; to maintain peace and balance, not of the force but of the People.

Today was however, a day unlike most others. While all had brought their share of trials, new experiences and perhaps even struggles; this day had began with the word sent to him via a messenger of the Madame President's people, that Veiere Arenais was to receive a guest and a potential student of the Force, sensitive in it's presence yet untrained and who's potential had not yet been tested. The news was both invigorating to the robed figure, yet also one that brought the past to mind in thinking back to his first and only other apprentice from a life now far out of reach. This imminent arrival would bring some questions to Veiere's mind, about his readiness to learn of the force and study under someone such as Veiere; as well as whether or not Veiere himself was someone still able to provide the guidance that his soon-to-be guest would need.

Standing in the clearing of the great courtyard, far from any of the main cities, Veiere awaited the transport, his hands buried into either sleeve while his old and worn Jedi Robe covered him and draped around his feet upon the stone floor, his gaze to the sky and listening to the many sounds of the planet, whilst the breeze caught at the edge of his clothes and reminded him of the vibrant life that surrounded him and fueled the ever strong flow of the force that bound all things together.

Ronen waited in his ship, run by a simple droid, to land on Commoner, he thoughton what his friend Tydus had taught him, he could feel the ship's rumble as is slowly made its decent on to the destination on which he had been advised. He has been told very little by Tydus, only that a man by the name of Vaiere would be at a church of some kind, ready to bring in people, with talent in the force. What worried Ronen was that this planet was ruled by a sith nation, powerful, strong, worryingly so. They landed.

"Thank you for choosing global stay!" Shouted the man driving the ship

"Yourwelcome" Ronen said monochrome like. He was nervous. He knew this would be the start of something much bigger, bigger than him and Tydus. He was finally ready. He knew what he had to do.

Ronen left the safety of his ship, and walked on to the soft soil below his feet. He could hear every crack and change in the wind, he could hear the people chattering and muttering, But he then felt someone, something? He was not sure. But he walked towards it.

Many people asked him for food, anything they could ask they asked for, he refused at every turn, only concentrating on his goal, the light side he could see, even without eyes he could see the blue glow.

He could sense a building in-front of him, tall but modest in size, and he could feel someone, he couldn't tell who they were, but he knew that person was powerful in the force.

"Hello? Im looking for a... Vaiere?" He shouted

"And so here I am" Veiere responded gently with a small smile, though [member="Ronen Jerik"] would not have likely noticed it so much as to potentially feel the warmth in Veiere's general presence in the Force, welcoming and humble. Stepping forward, he made his way out the remaining few paces to greet the younger male, dipping his head in a formal bow as was the custom taught to him during his thirty-odd years within the Jedi Order; some habits still a second nature in him. "Welcome to Commoner, I trust your flight was an easy one?". Between that of the Galactic Republic and the One Sith's territories clashing together, many people were often met by those seeking to make good on the unsuspecting transport, piracy one of the many issues that Kay Larr had been having to deal with over the recent weeks yet it seemed to be coming to a head with the reported lack of activity within the Sith Empire.

Turning, he stepped to the side of the lad and looked to face the rest of the courtyard, the sanctuary rather quaint and of an origin much older than some of the more modern cities yet the change in atmosphere offered those who visited the place a more peaceful and quieter tone than that of the typical trade hub above the other larger settlements. Visitors, those were all they usually were; somehow the activity within the area had drawn in a crowd though Veiere knew not how, perhaps through the rumors running through the presidential quarters, the palace most often walked by Veiere, likely having something to do with it as gossip and rumors were unfortunately rife within politics. Regardless, he offered a place of rest and respite to all who sought to visit the temple who's history was unknown even to Veiere and who's rooms and land had now been borrowed to him under the confidence of [member="Lady Kay"] .

"Your belongings will be moved from the ship, I'll guide you around the sanctuary should you so wish it though we should sit and talk first" He took his first step, glancing over his shoulder in consideration for the visually impaired male though half suspecting he was not lost to himself, Veiere simply said "This way, there's a bench (seat), not so far from here". With the grass under their feet and most of the stone path covered by the years of overgrowth, Veiere kept his pace at a slow walk so that he could study Ronen as the lad took in the many sounds around him. "Unfortunately many of these people will have left come the morning. We see visitors regularly though outside of the team sent here under the request of the Lady, Kay Larr; consistent company is going to be in rather short supply outside of myself".

Leading Ronen to a corner of the large open clearing, he moved to seat himself upon the bench overlooking a pleasant lake that left the boundary of the sanctuary and flowed out to connect with one of the many rivers of the living world, the sound of the current gentle as was the breeze in the day. Looking to the youth, Veiere soon spoke with a tone genuine in his curiosity and intrigue over the others past and discovery of the Force itself. "You obviously know why you've been sent here to me, though the nature of this place I imagine might take most by surprise. I'm no longer part of the Jedi Order, yet experienced in the ways of the Force...-I've been told that you, yourself have a great deal of potential yet much still to learn...-How did you come about learning of your ability, might I ask?".

Ronen felt oddly... calm next to the man, he was both soothing and relaxing, reminded Ronen of the days when he was free to roam his home in the outer rim. Free from all care.
He sighed, preparing to tell Vaiere his story.

"I come from a planet in the outer-rim, that was once bustling with life. Green fields, hot weather, everything was perfect. My family told me i had to wear a blind fold since childhood, i didnt understand why, i was banned from seeing..."

He clenched his fists, feeling anger and sadness thinking about the events.

"I was called useless by my family, they said i was a blind boy, and i wasn't any good for farming. I was.... cast aside"

"Then a group of sith apprentices came to visit, i didn't know at the time, but they asked for food, and i refused as they were threatening our people.Then they..."

A solitary tear rolled down his cheek.

"They killed my Family... Then they used a... flashing blade of some kind... and sliced my face"

Ronen takes off his eye piece to reveal a brutal scar, lining his cold, empty eyes.

"They told me they could have trained me, but kicked me to the ground"
"I scoured the universe for a teacher... I payed so much for people to take care of me... Then i found Tydus. We went through 6 hard months of training, until i could see without my walking stick, and use force lift, to some extent"

"He told me he had no more to teach me... And here i am"

[member="Veiere Arenais"]

[member="Ronen Jerik"] had gone through a great deal of hardship; unfortunately something that was not often foreign to those sensitive to the Force. While Veiere listened intently, he couldn't help but think on the fact that despite the Force in all it's infinite span across the galaxy and all things in life, no matter how grandiose that it was, there was always a much darker nature to it that was so often abused by those not having been educated in the etiquette encouraged by the Jedi Order of his day. The young lads family had been slain by the Sith Empire, it was a pain that Veiere could relate too, dating back to the Enclave that had once been strong on the world of Svivren, his only real family. The emotions that he felt rise in the youth as he explained his background was easily notable as it affected his overall aura, not visible yet still felt through their shared connection to the force around them. "The blade that you referred to is called a Lightsaber" Veiere responded gently, explaining a little about the tool rather than focusing on the boys pain and emphasizing the loss; "Many see the Lightsaber as a Weapon but within the Jedi Order, it was known as a symbol of the light and of their intent to serve the Galaxy and the Force that blankets everything we know. The Sith use these tools not as symbols per say nor in the defense of others as Jedi do, but as weapons, a sword to their will...-Few are skilled enough to challenge them, outside of those trained in the Lightside of the Force".

From what Ronen had explained, there was some form of basic training in behind him which was more than what was passed on down the line by Kay's people. "The ability to see and feel things through the force is of the branch of abilities labeled under the Jedi Order as 'Tactus Otium'. These are one of the core aspects of training taught to those still young and fresh in their path, often utilizing meditation and a strict sense of self control to fuel your progress in the art. Through Tactus Otium comes such skills as Pre-cognition, the ability to witness a threat or impending strike moments before it happens, enabling trained force users to hone in on their instincts and react accordingly. There is a great deal you can learn under this title alone yet this 'Force lift' you speak of..." Veiere couldn't help but chuckle fondly, in all aspects of the ability, force lift was pretty clear cut and dried yet there was more too it still; "Telekinesis...-The ability to lift and object and suspend it in place is called 'Sustained Telekinesis'. All things, I can teach you...-In time" he moved to place a hand against the lads shoulder in a brief display of encouragement before looking back out across the lake thoughtfully.

"The life of a student of the Force however isn't known for its ease. Dedication and patience are required, as well as restraint in yourself. Great care in how you are able to manage your emotions, the ability to keep your frustrations pushed to the side so that your mind can focus on the goal that is laid out before you....-I cannot stress to you enough that in pursuing this life, it can lead to strenuous and at times even dangerous days ahead".

[member="Veiere Arenais"] had explained it well and clear. A lightsaber, telekinesis, the force... It was all crystal clear. Ronen had travelled so far, so long, and after two years of searching he had found what he was looking for. He knew the training would not be easy, and the road before him would be strenuous. But he hadn't left that farm long ago, to sit and give up. He would dedicate his life to learning the ways of the force. And perhaps one day wield a lightsaber. He pictured it in his head, him, holding the weapon of the force, restoring order bit by bit. He knew this was the path for him, and he would have to work until his face bled, to achieve such a task. But he was ready. He stood up, bowed to his new master, and uttered 8 words.

"If you have me, i will be honoured"

He held out his hand, ready to shake.

Veiere rose to his feet, chuckling quietly under his breath as he turned to take [member="Ronen Jerik"] by the hand and shake it in mutual agreement, his head dipping forward in another bow before releasing the firm grasp and turning to gaze to the waters edge near to their footing. "The Force is larger than the Jedi Order can comprehend. Many have tried to learn it all but despite the progress made and collected across data-banks held securely within the Archives of the Order, there's still much that has yet to be discovered...", extending his left hand, he offered a simple wave, his presence in the force suddenly building and releasing only a very soft burst of telekinetic energy, he watched as the water rippled out to either side in front of them as he continued to speak, "It spans the known corners of the Galaxy and beyond, it creates life, binds it together and revolves around the circle of sentient life-cycles. In death, the life held returns to the Force and the cycle begins anew; this is what is referred to when Jedi speak of balance in all things...Where there is light, there is darkness; life and therefore death yet the Force is ever present, always there. Those that we have lost, they return to the force to help move our way of life in the Force's harmonious flow and in that, the Jedi encourage us to find peace rather than dwell on our loss...".

"This however does not mean life is not worth protecting..." He quickly added, to ensure he wasn't to be misunderstood; "The Force and the flow of life runs on it's own natural cycle. When someone is killed, murdered, that cycle is interrupted and the balance can shift. This is why the Order protects all life...-In doing so, it serves to maintain the balance in the Force. Do you understand?" He smiled warmly, turning to glance back to Ronen, curious to see whether the youth was still following his words. "One day, further down the track, we will seek out ways of helping Commoner. This may mean assisting the authorities in crimes and the like. It will be then that you learn the importance in these words but they are worth thinking about this early into your training...".

Veiere then turned and began to walk back towards the courtyard to which Ronen's things had been unloaded and were awaiting further instruction. "Come, let me show you to your quarters".

[member="Veiere Arenais"]

It all made so much sense to Ronen now. He understood the true meaning of "Jedi" He was ready for the journey before him. He grabbed Veiere's hand as he led him to his sleeping quarters. All this time, Ronen thought he was on a journey with no end, but now he could see it, he could see where his path was headed, he felt the cool breeze on his face as he walked through the hall of the church, so much of the force was emitting from the place, like a well of good. He was ready, and he couldn't wait, for his training to begin.

"Hey, by the way, how should i refer to you? Should i call you by name, or master?" Ronen was quite new to this, and wanted to make sure he did things right.

Ronen woke up the next morning in his quarters, surprised at first, but then remembered just where he was. Commenor, with his new Jedi master. He smiled to himself, remembering this is the start of something much bigger than him, and he was gonna be a part of it. He yawned, and found some robes next to his bed, ones that the old jedi used to wear, he out it on and thought it was a good fit, and decided to leave his quarters to see [member="Veiere Arenais"] about the start of his training.

Now he had met him, he could sense his force signature, it was familiar now, like the trees and life that he had been surrounded by his whole life. It was of a light blue, a sereen colour, not one of violence but one of peace.

Ronen walked to the courtyard to find His new master. "Good morning" He said politely. "I dont mean to be rude, but master, when are we gonna start training?"

The night had come and gone, Veiere had shown [member="Ronen Jerik"] to his dorm before setting off on his own to pursue a time of meditation before the nights end. There were many new factors to consider in the establishment of the new grounds, bringing some sort of new build to a group of believers and supporters of the Jedi Path, now coming together to actually like like more than a scattered group of like-minded individuals. In all this, Veiere wondered how successful they could hope to be; he had been offered support and now since been able to give that support back to the people of Commoner, promising to Kay Larr a smaller version of the Jedi Order of old, in a sense for her planet to find comfort in should they need it. Now with his first Student having arrived and evidently very eager to get underway, he felt somewhat overwhelmed in that for his faith in the Force, he would be doing much of this alone and without the same amount of personal time alongside [member="Lady Kay"] as he had learned to enjoy.

------------------
The next Day.
------------------

Standing out within the Courtyard, he awaited the rise of his new student, Ronen Jerik of whom had asked an interesting question the night prior. What would Veiere wished to be addressed as. The fact was that this was not of the Jedi Order, despite all of his former experience and time served within the Order, this was not it. His response had been simple, 'Call me Master when we are out in Public as a sign of respect and etiquette. Call me by name in person when we are not'. That they were not officially rostered as Jedi offered some small alleviation of the rules and expectations yet in the eye of the public, the formal regard spoke loudly for the encouragement of their pairs in knowing that before them would be two Jedi; regardless of their organization.

"Good morning, Ronen; how did you sleep?" Veiere dipped his head in a brief bow of acknowledgement before taking the lad by the arm and moving to walk in the direction of the next outdoor area; sections that were surrounded by stone laid walls yet left without a roof over their heads as if they'd not yet been completed. Here these area's were vast in size and as the two walked, the obstacle set up that Veiere had created for new initiates stood silently before them. A series of paths all with their own selection of hurdles to jump or stepping stones to move across; before all of which however, were the quiet setting of the meditation pads. Large rounded floors that could afford to hold groups of students for the purpose of meditation and peaceful relaxation. This was where they would first begin. "Today, I'd like to introduce you to the art of meditation, if you have not already studied or practiced it. Before we do anything, I would first have you extend on your ability to feel out your environment with the force, so that you are not reliant upon others for your travels".

"Yes Veiere" Ronen sat on the courtyard floor, and unwrapped the bandages on his face, revealing his scarred face once more. He crossed his legs and closed his eyes. He started to breath slowly, trying his best to concentrate on what was around him, the smell of the grass, the sound of the wind passing his face, peaceful, the feeling of the breeze against his face, the feeling of the force around him, he could feel Veiere's presence easily, but it was his environment in which his difficulty lied, he could feel the trees, and the grass, but he could not feel the cold steel, the hard rock, the force could only let him see the living force with his ability, he concentrated further, and could see a silhouette, but no more, he decided to meditate there for the day, to concentrate on what he was feeling,

"I think i'll sit here for today, i need to see further in the force."

[member="Veiere Arenais"]

Veiere gave a curt nod in acknowledgement as the younger lad sought to begin his session in meditation. It seemed that [member="Ronen Jerik"] had indeed been introduced to it already, Veiere remaining for a moment as he watched in careful study, offering a word where needed; the flow of the Force around them reacting to their aura's, strengthening when focused and growing more and more placid when otherwise. "Meditation is the gateway drug to all abilities learned in the Force, it encourages self control and discipline, patience while we seek to embed ourselves within our surroundings and connect with all life nearby". The Force was often referred to the flow of water by those of Veiere's past and just like water is to rock, the Force moved around all things non-living. That was not to say however that one could not simply follow it's currents to facilitate for something like Ronen's difficulties and like Ronen, there were many others within the Galaxy known for utilizing the Force where their eyes could not truly see the path for them. "The Force flows as does the air, where wind cannot breach the walls of buildings that people have built up, the Force moves with a similar current, one that you will learn to see clearly and follow..." He spoke gently, moving to take a seat opposite of Ronen, taking to kneeling on both legs and resting his weight upon the back of his feet, his hands burying his thumbs into the front of his belt and shoulders sinking some as he released a slow breath and sought to relax himself. "In order to commune with the Force, we must first learn to calm our minds. To push away any self doubt or outside disturbances. Breathing techniques and time are required here as you've mentioned; I will remain within meditation myself and gauge your progress over the course of the day".

"Yes Veiere" He had remembered doing things similar to this when he had to train with Tydus in the caves. He had to communicate with the force, talk to it, feel it flow through his body like a stream of water. He focused as he meditated, looking deep through the force. He felt the ground rumble and groan below him, the gentle grass sweeping below his feet.

He started to feel something strange, he felt... a disturbance... as if something had happened.

"Veiere, somethings wrong... i- i can feel something... fear, anger... as if someone is killing another..."

[member="Veiere Arenais"]

"Calm yourself..." Veiere cautioned him while seated, showing no evidence that he had picked up on anything within the area that gave him cause for concern, "The Force can be perceived in many various ways, all unique to the individual that is seeking to commune with it. These grounds, this Temple is not a place of grave threat nor are there many that know of it or have any reason to wish to do us harm, we are far to early on in our days and you are not quite that attuned to the Force as I am young one; breath in slowly, hold it and exhale...". Had there been reason for alarm, Veiere would not be sitting on his backside running the lad through a training session but rather telling him to return to his quarters and instead dealing with the incident himself; alone for now.

"Our emotions give rise and fall depending on our attachments to the world around us and our willingness to pursue them, you must learn to set aside your instinct to jump on a chance, rather take a moment, feel the situation out that is before you and proceed with a clear mind unburdened by your passions", it was a challenge to all that began their training as Jedi. Those that took on an oath to serve within the Jedi Order encouraged the mediation of their feelings in order to remain unbiased and focused on the goal ahead, for the betterment of the majority rather than the needs of the self; not everyone took to these lessons justly, nor did they all encompass the patience to still their minds, instead seeking to further their training under the premise that it would lead them to adventure, action and excitement. Such things were not of the Jedi mentality. Veiere wondered where [member="Ronen Jerik"] would land in the mix of things.

[member="Veiere Arenais"]

"Veiere... I must ask something" He looked uncomfortable in his meditative state. "What should i do if i meet a sith warrior?" He looked in his Masters direction, with longing, confusion. "They're so...." He started to clench his fist. "What do... i do?"

Looking to [member="Ronen Jerik"] Veiere frowned, his eyes opening and his meditation ceasing while he simply sat there and pondered the lads reason for asking of the Sith. Naturally it was fueled by his past though it was the boys future that was the importance now, whether or not he remained with Veiere, there was a point to be made here in his response. "The Sith are a complicated people..." He began, thinking back to his former home on Svivren, "Embracing the Dark Side of the Force, their ambitions are led alongside their passions, hatred and fear has fueled many formidable warriors of the Dark Side that have since become stories lost to the ages. These are a people felt denied of the freedom and strength within the Force by those that would build the Jedi Order and ever since, we have been at War. The Sith, because they have been oppressed, and the Jedi because of their choice of tactics, merciless and biased to all that might oppose them".

"Should you ever encounter a Sith, you have a number of options though at your current ability, I would expect you to avoid them at all costs. Once your training has progressed however and you are nearing a stage ready to venture further out into the Galaxy, I would suggest strongly that you engage them only in the instance that another life is to suffer or die without your intervention...", He did not know how long it would take before Ronnen sought to travel to other words yet Veiere hoped that it would only be once the lad had acquired a far greater grasp around the Force and his strengths and weaknesses around it's practice. "We enter conflict only to deter the loss of life and the oppression of innocence, never for vengeance nor our scars of the past. Nothing good comes from violence, only pain and misery".

Ronen exhaled, he felt more at ease knowing this, he knew in his heart he would never turn to the dark side, he's seen what is has done to people, and what they did to him, or at least, he felt it... "Thank you for being slow with me..." He got back into a meditative state, and appeared to be far more calm. He sat, emptying his thoughts, putting away his sorrow, pain, selfishness, and pity, and only felt..

The force.

Small rocks started to float around him, as he experimented with what he knew of the force, they started circling him. "Veiere, is it bad that i think the Order of the Silver Jedi is unjust?" He kept meditating, the rocks still circling, but he needed to get to know his master, and what he thought of the silver order.

[member="Veiere Arenais"]

[member="Ronen Jerik"] soon mentioned the Silver Sanctum Coalition and caught Veiere somewhat off-guard though not particular inexperienced when it came to the Organization. "The Silver Order may not be for everyone, myself included though that does not mean it gives us the right to judge..." He spoke with an edge of understanding yet also suggesting caution on the matter. "We don't always need to like what people do though it would serve us best to try to examine all sides visible of every story. Why the Sanctum have become what they are, why they invite others in not strictly of the Jedi mindstate...".

"The Jedi in the Galaxy encourage compassion, understanding and neutrality for peace; balance in the force as I mentioned earlier and in some respects the Silver Sanctum are meeting these ideals rather admirably. I met and came to know Theodred Heavenshield rather well myself, it was he that helped me when I was in a time of uncertainty; a time where my faith in the Jedi path was at its lowest. He is a good hearted and respectable man, one I will always consider a friend though I cannot speak for them all, sadly". He had been invited into the Silver Sanctum by Theodred long ago yet at a time where the Conclave for the Order of the Republic was coming together, between the battle of mimban and then followed by the battle of Deneba; It hadn't suited Veiere's chosen direction back then and now, in the present, the only reason he hadn't sought them out was [member="Lady Kay"] and the needs of Commoner. "In answer to your question, I suppose I would be interested to here why you believe they are unjust, what experiences you've shared with them, before I can rightly comment...".

"I've seen so many of their 'padawans' kill for the most basic of reasons, in their masters name, saying it was due to their training. They all seem so Naive and unled... thats why i left them for you" He looked towards Veiere. thinking he may have gone too far.

"Well... Enough about that" He got back into meditative position. "Anything else i should be meditating on? Or should i carry on for the day?"

[member="Veiere Arenais"]

[member="Ronen Jerik"] spoke of students taking lives and acting precariously without the due justification though in Veiere's mind he was listening to only one side of a story to which was none of his business at the end of the day; if true then yes, it was to be a concern though not for him but for the Masters of the Silver Sanctum and none outside of it. "Students can stray without the Masters strict guidance and even then, some are more receptive to the life than others but regardless of whatever stance I might take on the matter, I am not of the Silver Sanctum and like the many other peoples of the Galaxy, we must mind ourselves when viewing those of a different nature to our own. So easily can our differences in perspectives lead to judgement and they lead to resentments which is not something I'd want you to focus on". Veiere soon gestured to Ronen, adding thoughtfully, "Again, focus on calming the mind and mediating your emotions, learn to quiet your concerns and carry on" He nodded as if in agreement that Ronen continue to meditate while Veiere himself would sit for a while and study the lad in further silence.

After a time, he slowly rose to his feet and quietly stepped away in order to leave Ronen where he was. He would return in a short time though with the boy there in his practices, Veiere thought it best to check on the rest of the enclave, those visitors that came and went could so often stray where he would prefer them to remain distanced from. Perhaps later on he would have the boy help him in maintaining the gardening, have the lad learn to appreciate the life that was so out in full around them. His meditation for the time being however would suffice and Veiere needed to see that he could take to a task with patience and clarity.
