Thickening the Armor

Mullarus was no stranger to this kind of pain. It reminded him of being a sixteen year old teenage Sith-Wannabe on Anaxes, living a life he never wanted under the decietful wing of Lord Jekyll, his grandfather, whose training consisted almost as much of mental and physical training as much as it did torture. Or, as the old man called it, pain resistance.

It was like that, only much, much worse. Thankfully, though, it did not last that long. For a few seconds there, Mullarus actually felt like his soul was being completely stripped from his body, along with his muscular system and every vital organ in his body. Oh, and they were on fire.

He gasped and bent over, clutching his gut after it was over. He hated to look like he couldn't handle it in front of [member="Darth Azurea"], but it was his first time feeling that. Now he would have a hard time ever doing that to anybody. Except as a very convincing form of torture...

Darth Azurea watched Knight Mullarus, wondering how he was faring and if he, like Azurea, would find the pain almost pleasant. Once she let go of him, her wound had completely closed. She showed him her smooth palm only scarred with life lines and not an actual knife cut.

"Very good, Mullarus," she said. Darth Azurea was never one to shy away from praise. Unlike Pyrrhus she would offer encouragement as well as constructive feedback.

"I will leave you to meditate for a bit. You and I will fight side by side on the battlefield soon enough."

And with that Darth Azurea left to tend to her own business in one of the Alchemy labs in the Academy.
