Private They Call Me the Breeze..

Yavin. It had history. It had stories. Even non adepts of the Force flocked to it at times for almost religious like sight seeing and a veritable pilgrimage. Kaelen had came here to see what he could see. Ran Serys Ran Serys had done more than he could ever thank or admit to for his journey, though she likely wouldn't ever acknowledge it. He felt he was moving in the right direction now, and thanks to her a funtional lightsaber hung at his hip opposite the curious bespoke pistol he carried at all times. Corellian longcoat swaying with his stride, he brought the JedCred around his neck to his lips, a kiss of the metal for luck, before stepping through the entry way.

Rather than moving with a purpose, he sort of... Drifted aimlessly... It was a lesson in his grandfather's notes (though reconstructing Force techniques from notes and not a Holocron was tricky it seemed) and the first one in the steps to developing the famed sensory abilities of Flow Walking and FIghting Sight, abilities that were staples of his grandfather's... He walked without really paying attention to much in the corporeal world other than not tripping or running into things, just seeing where the will of the Force would take him, hand trailing along on invisible currents at his side, like a child with their arm out the window of a speeder in the wind.

Yavin's air was heavy with memory. The temples carried echoes of battles and meditations, triumphs and defeats. For Valery, it was not her first time here, but the weight of the past always seemed to press differently each visit. Today, it was supposed to be simple. A survey for the Hidden Path, to see if the old world still had places that could be of use.

Then she felt it.

A presence in the Force, not overwhelming, but distinct. Valery slowed her steps, her hand brushing lightly against the hilt at her side before she let herself follow the feeling.

It drew her deeper into the ruins until her eyes found the source. A young man in a longcoat, walking as though carried more by instinct than intent. The energy around him stirred something she could not place right away, but there was a faint tug of familiarity, like hearing an old melody.

Her gaze lingered for a moment before she called out, her voice calm but carrying just enough to reach him. "You walk with the Force, but not blindly. That much is clear." She stepped closer, orange eyes steady on him.

"I am Valery Noble. And you are…?"

Kaelen turned, slowly, his focus and mind coming back to the present and the physical almost reluctantly. Softly, blue eyes focused and looked into the orange ones regarding him, and he quirked an eyebrow. The twist at the corner of his lips blended amusement and heralded sarcasm, which was so persistent in his being he often found his foot in his mouth and the snark coming out even when he didn't perhaps want it to be. And this was one such instance.

"Or I could be intoxicated on some exotic drug, alcohol, or other synthetic or toxin. Or deranged, crazed madman. Perhaps, mayhaps even, I've fallen and hit my head and don't know that i've wandered into a Jedi temple's ancient ruins."

Here the words slowed, and his face calmed.

"Or I am just lost, wandering old sites and shrines, looking for something to give a damn about in a cold 'verse that has no feelings one way or the other what happens to anyone."

Hands were shoved into the pockets of his longcoat, his way of saying Look, i'm not armed or a threat... And following that gesture of peace and goodwill, he shrugged.

"Take your pick really, hard to say these days I hear."

Valery's lips curved into a smirk at his words, her head tilting just slightly as she studied him. "You are many things, I am sure," she said, the faintest spark of amusement in her tone. "But I do not think any of those are the answer here. I am certain of what I felt. The Force led me to you."

Her hands rested lightly at her sides as she stepped a little closer, eyes steady on his. "There is something in your presence. Familiar, even if I cannot place it yet." She let the silence hang for a moment, her gaze narrowing just a touch. "It's like I've felt you before, but... not quite."

The smirk returned, softer this time. "If that makes any sense."
