+Duelist: Before he was an archaeologist, Thetan was a fencer. Even so, his youth was spent training in many different styles, before eventually discovering the lightsaber forms decades later. What he lacks in raw power is balanced by his experience. He excels in Shii-Cho, Makashi, Soresu and Niman.
-Strength: He is not as strong as he used to be, and thus is susceptible to overwhelmingly fast and powerful strikes.
-Endurance: Thetan cannot battle for extended periods of time, and can be worn out. He will try to end any conflict as quickly and efficiently as possible.
APPEARANCE:
Thetan is an old man, donning rare shell spider silk clothing and an armorweave cape. A stern and serious demeanor surrounds Thetan, his white and trimmed beard giving him a certain look of sophistication. Despite being on the elderly side of age, he walks with a straight back and a confident pep to his step. Serving under the New Galactic Empire as an Inquisitor, Thetah can be seen equipped with Coynite battle armor, a pair of bracers and a torso piece worn over his spider silk suit, along with a crimson armorweave cloak fashioned after the Imperial Royal Guards.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born to the noble house Garonnin, Thetan was set down the path of academics in order to eventually become a archaeologist. While he was not enthusiastic about the career choice his family pushed upon him, the young Thetan complied, studying hard at various private schools and institutes. In his spare time he gained a particular interest in swordsmanship, having been drawn to the weapon by the ancient cultures that utilized it in his studies. As the years passed Thetan became an accomplished archaeologist, being the first to set foot on ancient grounds on a few occasions. His family used this to their advantage, continuing their despicable tradition of strip-mining what they could through whatever means necessary.
Decades passed, his parents settling on Tanaab and spending the rest of their years there. Once they had passed, Thetan became head of the family, inheriting a decent amount of credits along with the estate. His life took a dramatic turn upon the discovery of Sith hieroglyphs in an old tomb, his mysterious finding only the start to an obsession that would forever dominate his destiny. Enamored with the dark side and the strength it would provide him in his old age, Thetan was determined to unlock its secrets and gorge on its power. A collection of ancient Sith antiques amassed as the years passed, things such as old scrolls and inoperable lightsabers.
His interest in the Sith ways did not go unnoticed, for he eventually came upon a dark side practitioner who aided him in unlocking the force potential that had laid dormant all along. His true training progressed quickly, his previous combat experience transferring over smoothly once he picked up a lightsaber. His use of force powers was notable as a beginner, developing a keen understanding of telekinesis and later down the line, force lightning. Though his ability in both is neither below or above average, the old Sith found that he had a certain talent for masking his presence in the force above all else. Using this to his advantage, he betrayed his master, leaving behind the apprenticeship that he had always thought to be below him. Now, he continues to head his families mining operations, leaving other long time and trusted employees to truly run the operations.
Sometime after a near fatal encounter on the planet of Korriban, the Garonnin Asteroid Prospector was found drifting in space, on the border of Galactic Empire territory. The old man was found injured, and eventually taken into custody by the Imperial Inquisitors. There he was interrogated and tortured, until finally he was brought into the folds of the new Empire. Now, he no longer cares about the Sith, or Jedi. His one and only priority is to serve the Empire, and hunt down it's most sought after enemies.
SHIP:
House Garroninn owns a five hundred meter long AP-300 Asteroid Prospector, which Thetan hardly finds a reason to use most of the time. As for personal transport, Thetan uses a personalized Kom'rk-class transport, the larger variant of the Mandalorian ship equipped with moderate shielding.
