Incom Corporation wanted it to be clear and peaceful.

A multi-faceted move on various fronts - Commenor was being evacuated for safety reasons and into the depths of Techno Union territory, to the world of Roon. Alyesa Organa no longer trusted the Republic after the botched meeting between the supposed Senators who upheld their righteous cause to the traitor Prime Minister and the Rebel Alliance who committed crimes that were unspeakable. The Administration Center was being moved to Kamino - why? Because it was a beautiful place in it's own right. So in turn, all operations were being conducted from the shipyards of Ranklinge - shipyards that Incom Corporation owned. They would be gutted to the point that it would take a long while before anything was ever produced from them again. Incom people would be cleared from the facility and property that belonged to Incom would be evacuated on vessels belonging to the Corporate fleet and those who came to assist.

They weren't destroying the place - just taking what rightfully belonged to them and leaving.

Darell Irani was not here to discuss the supposed guilt of the Prime Minister, simply because Darell Irani did not particularly care if the Prime Minister was guilty or not. He had more important things to contemplate, such as his profit margins and the expansion of several new locations for his company, be that as it may.

His help had been asked and Irani was obliged to aid in the matter at hand.

This entire move was wholly legitimate.

Any corporate entity held the right to move its assets from one territory to another, they weren’t the One Sith here, this was still the Republic and the Republic would never impeded the efforts of a private-owned company in its attempt to disassociate itself from a cause it no longer believed in.

So Irani was here personally, overseeing the evacuation and dismantling of the shipyards of Incom over Ranklinge. Because yes, they had been constructed by Incom, operated by Incom and as such they too were the private property of Incom.

Saiba Security Solutions was on the site to make sure that the evacuation procedures went as smoothly as possible and the specialist engineers of Eridium Industrial were already looking into the dismantling of the shipyards.

The utmost care was given, of course. This was what they did, the construction and dismantling of infrastructure of all kinds.
Today nobody would have to die.

Alyesa stood onboard her private ship - her hand biting the edges of her nails as she watched the proceedings with care. Although the Corporate fleet was large enough to defend the innocent civilians should the Republic try something foolhardy, she still felt as if her own sins would come back to haunt her. Were there any sins for her to pay for? No. But she felt like she had committed a sin in it's own right. She loved the Republic or rather, what it used to be. A deep sting stabbed at the very depths of her soul as she watched them dismantle her shipyards and the dozens of ships loading civilians from various points of the shipyard. People displaced because of political indecisiveness of others.

Because of corruption and greed.

The Republic was lost and this was the price. Tens of thousands of people would need to be relocated and their families too, at the expense of a Corporation who wanted nothing more than to aide in burning the brand of freedom throughout the Galaxy but instead was rebuffed by the Imperialistic ideals of another.

Heartbreaking to say the least.

She'd watch, fear taking hold of her soul as she looked to the holo-image of [member="Darell Irani"] - who seemed cool and composed about the situation. Curious, She'd have to get to know him more.

In the grand scheme of things there were a variety of reasons why Darell Irani was not- or at least did not seem concerned about the proceedings. Perhaps he simply had more trust in the inner-workings of the Republic, perhaps he was simply far more secure in his position or maybe there was something else at play here.

But in the end it all led to the same result.

Irani’s hologram gave Alyesa a simple nod.

“We are proceeding as planned, miss Organa. The shipyards will take a bit longer to dismantle though, Eridium wasn’t the one setting them up and they want to do this as safe as possible.”

Casualties was the last thing they wanted to accomplish here.

Saiba Security would keep on ushering the workers of Incom towards the shuttles that would transport them to the ships waiting for them. It seemed that the Techno Union would become the new home of another worthwhile corporation.

And Darell would do all he could to make sure it happened as smoothly as possible.

"I trust your judgement, Mr. Irani." She'd gesture towards his holo, attempting to hide her fear that was plastered over her facial features. "It's the judgement of those out there who claim allegiance to the Republic. Have we decided where this shipyard will take up a new home at?" She'd gesture towards the massive shipyard. "It is by far one of the more productive facilities we have and we'd hate for it to be in a place that would be susceptible to the terrorists of the Rebel Alliance."

“Hishyim.” Darell Irani would state then.

It was a desert world on the other side of the Techno Union space, which meant it was as far away from the Rebel Alliance as possible- not that he really thought they would try to pull anything in the territory of the Techno Union. But everything was possible and having a thick buffer would help against the odds to a certain degree.

“It’s fairly undeveloped right now, so having a strong corporate presence is beneficial. Eridium Industrial will help with the reconstruction process, of course.”

At this point Eridium was already the premier infrastructure establishment of the Techno Union, constructing everything and anything the Union needed to uplift their territories.

Eyes locked. “You are under protection of the Techno Union now, miss Organa. That comes with perks, but it also comes with responsibilities. Are you ready to discuss terms?”

Darell was a dignified presence, a man who had been in the corporate world for a long time now, who owned several big companies and whose influence was felt in every corner of the Galaxy. And he would make sure that it stayed that way, by protecting his interests and the interests of the Techno Union.

Alyesa raised an eyebrow as she motioned before herself. "I'm sure these terms won't violate my oath to the Alderaanian throne - which I haven't received word from my mother yet." She frowned slightly and took a seat close to the holoprojector and sighed heavily. This whole decision and begin ejected from the Senate due to false allegations had to take some toll on the Hierarchy of the Alderaan. Only time would tell exactly what the damage would be - luckily, the Republic had no influence on the Alderaanian Royalty, and as long as Alyesa was alive, she would continue to ensure it remained as such.

She would begin fight in the future for the freedom and independence of Alderaan from a corrupt central government, but for now - that would have to be tabled.

"Please, explain your terms Mr. Irani."

“Of course not.” he would reply without even a frown marring his expression.

Because the Techno Union wasn’t interested in trying to undercut sovereignty, this wasn’t about trying to abuse their supposed position of power, this was about ensuring that the interests of the Techno Union were protected.

Interests that mattered more than the feelings of a person, interests that ascended the needs of one company or even any other nation.

“It’s fairly simple, miss Organa.” he would say with a little shrug. “As of today your company will join the Techno Union, this means that it will be under its protection to a degree.”

A pointed look.

“This also means that your actions, your decisions and even your words will reflect upon all of us, in a positive and negative light.” He tilted his head slightly, as if to size up Organa and ponder about what kind of person she is. “You will have to tread very carefully, because we live and die by our reputation, miss Organa.”

“Do you understand where I am going with this?”

"I understand Mr. Irani and I agree to those terms. I only ask that the Techno Union respect the right to produce as we see fit." She nodded softly. "Sof long as it doesn't interfere with the rights and terms set forth by the Union." She'd adjust herself in her seat as she'd turn to look at the ongoing deconstruction which seemed to be advancing at a rapid pace once certain stages were complete. Ships would burst into hyperspace as she brought a hand to her chin in thought. "Political probation then I take it."

“Yes.” the businessman would simply reply.

Because in truth Organa was a liability and Darell was taking a chance with her, this could either blow up in his face by a major degree. (in which case Ardik wouldn’t let him hear the end of it) Or, she would prove the Galaxy wrong and become a strong partner of the Techno Union.

The choice would be hers.

“The Techno Union never dictates its members to whom it should produce, miss Organa. You do not have to fear that, just remember this.” It was really obvious, but it had to be said either way. “Do not supply parties that are hostile with us, such things do not go over well.”

It would still take a while before the shipyards were completely dismantled, but by now all the Incom personnel were evacuated from the different facilities across Republic Space, all ushered along by a concentrated effort supplied by Saiba Security Solutions.

Eridium would do its best to dismantle most of the assets Incom had in Republic Space, including the shipyards that were dismantled here.

Advancement of the shipyards would indeed take a while but atleast her personnel who were innocent in these games of politics and corporate alliances were gone. Their families would be relocated and they would be paid well, out of funds that had been directed to the side by Incom Corporation and the relief funds that Alyesa Organa had personally oversaw in events such as this. Unfortunately, due to the events on Alderaan - the fund was nearly depleted - perhaps she needed to start a fundraiser or host a gala to get donations to put more in to the bank itself.

That would have to wait until everything was done.

For now, she was on probation - and rightfully so. She had extremely close ties to the Republic and could understand the hesitation of the Techno Union - as when it all began, she was anti-CIS and Techno Union to such an extent she had halted all production of vessels into CIS/TU space but that was until recently. Production lines and contracts had been renewed and she was rather pleased with the financial results of that.

She'd watch the continuation of the dismantling before looking at Irani on the holo and nodding softly. "Very well, I believe we have an agreement then."
