Hodari Turbo
Turbo for the ladies
Hodari brought his old YT-2400 freighter down to hover just over the top of the canopies of the arboreal jungles of the planet Cholganna, far beyond the rim of the Galaxy. The ship, called the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, steadied out and soared ahead as the pilot craned his head to look down out of the canopy, looking for an open spot where he could land his craft.
"We here," he announced in flawed Galactic Basic to the group that had accompanied him on the expedition. The freighter was more than large enough to fit [member=Zathra Fett], [member=Farlon Orbit], [member=Willa Isard] and himself comfortably, with a bunk for each while the ship had made its trip through hyperspace. The group had banded together after a notice from [member=Arumi Zy], calling for wild creatures to form some kind of zoo. It suited Hodari fine, as he was promised to be paid well. He didn't know for certain why any of the others had agreed to come along, but he doubted anyone had come for any other reason than money. Splitting four ways might not even be necessary in the end, Hodari thought, as the Cholganna forests were treacherous. Still, the Dug had confidence in his own ability to survive.
The cargo hold had been stuffed with all kinds of cages, stun weapons, and trapping equipment, all at the expenses of their contractor if they would succeed in their mission. There was barely enough space left for the Dug's speeder, Hodari's Groovy Fast Flying Machine.
As Hodari continued to peer out the canopy, seeing nothing promising, he grew impatient and gestured wildly at the empty co-pilot's seat. "Scan, scan!" he called irritably. "Someone find Hodari landing spot."
If the scanners were used, they would reveal a landscape that was mostly covered in arboreal forests, but there were some workable open areas here and there, mostly at the banks of rivers that crossed through the forests, as well as around waterlogged sinkholes that peppered the land. Here and there, there were also traces of large metal objects, presumably crashed ships or other hunters. Cholganna was officially uninhabited, but there would be plenty of other expeditions out here, as well as people who had gotten stranded after crashes or other mishaps.
