Korriban: Ruins of the Sith Academy

Equipment: In Bio

He had walked this world as a god once, or rather, as a Lord. Now, Levos strode not as a mighty Sith, but as a pulsating echo of agony. Boots crunched against blood soaked sands, as he proceeded through the ruins, the low hiss of his life support being his only company; until his comm flickered to life. "My lord, are you certain you don't wish an escort? There is a high chance that hostiles may still be in the area." His brow twitched in anger, as he halted his stride, his hand moving to stroke the respirator at the front of his helm. His voice was raspy, the dry air of Korriban straining his already damaged vocal cords. Though weak as he sounded, the intent behind the Sith's words was there. "Captain, you are walking a path most unwise. Your predecessors made similar errors, and now, it seems that you too wish to be punished just as they have been. I suggest you still your tongue, least I remove it when I arrive." He could practical taste the fear from his subordinate on the other end, the Sith Lord mentally followed the image back to where the man stood on the ship, clutching the comlink for dear life. Levos could kill him in an instant, just reaching out, merely applying the pressure, and the man's neck would snap in twine. He'd done it countless times before, and indeed, would more than likely do it again before the day was at an end.

Good help was just so hard to find. Pleased that the worthless man stilled himself, the Darth continued on, his aura of agony carrying on with him. He had left something within these halls many years ago, and with the Empire in tatters, it was time to retrieve just that. Hopefully, the scavengers hadn't found it, but if they had, well, he had ways of finding people. Torture, after all, was effective if one merely knew the right tools to use. And he did so enjoy his tools.

With the academy looming before him now, the Darth pressed on, his armored form draped with worn robes, battered by the harsh winds, it would be easy to mistake him for a lost wanderer of a scavenger. Which to many a fool, would be the last mistake they'd make.

(Open to anyone, doesn't have to be pvp, just here to have fun.)

Slip walked through the halls of the ruined academy, looking around at the ruined structure. His footsteps echoed out, sounding out through the corridors. Even in ruins, the academy was definitely stunning. Of course, he wasn't just here for sight-seeing... There was another reason he was here... Something had brought him here. It wasn't usual for a Jedi Padawan to come to the old Sith Academy, after all...

Slip continued down the halls, thinking. He could sense the dark aura about this place. He could sense the pain and suffering that happened here. The dark side was very strong here... But that didn't put him off. In fact, if anything, that was the reason why he was here. He had been called here by something, and that's what he was looking for, whatever the thing that called him here was. Slip fit in well here, the pain and despair, he practically felt that everyday, non-stop, ceaseless. No one could help him... but whatever was here could possibly help him... The Sith were experts in that sort of stuff, after all.

He was taking a big risk with this unauthorized expedition, no doubt the Jedi would be furious at him for taking this trip, but hopefully he could find some sort of answer here.

He approached a balcony of sorts. He looked out at the surrounding area, scanning. The dry Korriban environment was bland and drab. He couldn't imagine anyone possibly living here. It just seemed... unnatural, to say the least. The Sith definitely knew how to pick places that had that bland and harsh feel. Seriously, it was weird how much they liked places like this.

Then, Slip sensed a presence nearby. Searching, he noticed a person in weathered robes approaching the Academy. Slip could sense... a dark presence around the person. The anger about him... it was strong to say the least. Slip hadn't been expecting to encounter anyone else, no less a Sith. This... this could be bad...

Slip moved back into the corridors, hiding back into the ruins of the Academy. This trip definitely was about to have an unexpected turn... Hopefully this wouldn't end in total disaster.

There had been a degree of splendor in walking the halls of the old masters, taking their teachings from their graves, and improving upon them. It was evolution in the most pure sense, and it was from that core tenant that Levos thrived from. It was something that had made him feel accomplishment as a younger man, but now a mere scarred and batter form of who he had been, he now only felt rage over the loss that had befallen the Empire. Crimson Dawn was a rogue nation, and he'd be damned if he surrendered his Sith teachings to those fools within the Maw. No, he intended to gather his followers and keep the Sith Order alive for as long as he could, and once he collected his precious trinket, he could do just that.

Reaching the collapsed entry way of the temple, the Sith merely waved his hand, and willed the rubble to part. While it would have been less of an effort to merely climb over the debris, such was the way of a weak fool, and Levos was no fool. Casting aside rock, rubble, and many other forms of clutter, he continued inside, matching the same cracked floors that he had once ferried his former wife across, and where he had planned on taking his daughter before everything fell apart. Then the thoughts began to slowly flow back to him.

His Empire, his dreams, his legacy all stolen from him by Mandalorians. His footfalls echoed through the seemingly empty passage way, the Darth's mind only vaguely focused on the idea that he might not be alone. In his own mind, he didn't care if he was or not, whoever was fool enough to challenge him at current was as good as dead. The thoughts that stewed of Azula Ordo Azula Ordo , and what she had taken from him took prescient above all else. Catching the faintest hint of movement out of the corner of his eye, Levos lashed out, letting his rage bubble outwards as the aura he carried exploded and reached for the unknown shadow. Seizing it, Levos squeezed his hands, and crushed it to pulp, before dropping the decimated corpse of a Shyrack at his feet. He hissed in disgust, kicking the shattered wings of the creature aside, and moving forward, slowly pulling the festering rage back within himself.

Slip darted through the hallways of the Academy, his footsteps nearly silent as he moved from corridor to corridor. Well this adventure had certainly taken an unexpected turn. Honestly, Slip hadn't been expecting someone else here, but that was his fault really. He should have expected a Sith, of all people, to come to the old Sith Academy. What had he been thinking? Was he stupid? Probably. Curse him and his lack of foresight. Well, now he had to deal with the consequences of his inability to plan ahead for any unexpected situations.

Slip darted behind a column, hearing the heavy footfalls approach. Slip reduced his Force presence to a small pinpoint, in order to hide himself. He could feel the pure anger and hatred coming from the person, pure spite and malice directed at a certain someone or something, Slip couldn't quite tell. Oh yeah, this person was 100%, without a doubt, a Sith Lord. And here he was, only a few meters away from Slip. Oh boy... He really wasn't in a good place right now... This wasn't good...

Slip felt the man reach out in the Force and crushed a nearby Shryack to a pulp, as if it was nothing. Wow... He was really strong. No way in hell would Slip win any sort of fight against this man, he'd beat Slip easily. This was looking worse and worse by the minute... Well, since it didn't seem thingscould get any worse, he decided to do something incredibly stupid.

Slip stepped out from his column, right in front of the man. As he did it, his heart was pounding, and he was shaking slightly. He was nervous, but most of all, he was afraid of the man. In fact, he was terrified. Never before had he been so close to a Sith, especially one so powerful.

"Hey, nice to see someone else here." Slip said. "So, what brings you here? I'm gonna guess... sightseeing. You seem like the tourist type."

Slip was such an idiot.
