Zann Consortium
Purpose:
The intent behind the founding of the Consortium was to be a crime syndicate for increased revenue. Since the original foundation, it had become a dangerous organization that threatened both the Rebel Alliance and the Empire. Its new purpose is to create underworld revenue, to challenge all other crime syndicates and control or benefit from all events in the galaxy.
History:
Tyber Zann founded the Zann Consortium some time before 0 ABY. The exact date is unknown, however there is a theory that it may have been 19 BBY. Some time between the Consortium's forming and the Battle of Yavin IV the organization fragmented. About the year 0 ABY, Tyber reformed the crime syndicate and led it to become a large factor in the Galactic Civil War. The Consortium helped defeat the Empire over Carida and then turned on the Rebels that were there. The Consortium had secured a prototype ship named the Eclipse. However, once the Rebels and Imperials over Carida had been dispatched, Tyber Zann left the Eclipse because he believed that the ship would stand as too large a target for his enemies.After the battle over Carida, the Zann Consortium fell to pieces. By the time that Admiral Natasi Daala had attacked the New Republic, the Zann Consortium's fleet, along with most of organization itself, had been in ruin.
In recent years, the Zann Consortium was reformed by Nixara Zann, an indirect descendant of the notorious Tyber Zann. She rebuilt the syndicate with the help of Madame Cognito. During the reformation, Nixara's brother, Corruck Zann, found her. The two had been separated for many years due to unfortunate circumstances on Ryloth. After being reunited, Nixara and Corruck began planning for the future of the Consortium's complex future in the new galaxy.
Leadership:
The Zann Consortium was originally run by an overall leader, named Tyber Zann, and his second in command, called Urai Fenn.

However after the reconstruction, the Consortium is run by Tyber's descendants. Nixara Zann is the leader in command of the Consortium, her brother Corruck Zann is second in command and is an advisor for his sister. At the moment Corruck has taken command of the Consortium while Nixara takes time off.
Methodology:
The Zann Consortium uses deception and underhanded schemes to change galactic events to its purposes. The Consortium prefers to remove targets and enemies with stealthy removal and does not normally attack upfront. Covert tactics are the name of the game in the Consortium. When a target is removed, the blame must never be placed on the Consortium. Those that aren't great at manipulation or are poor spies, there are other forms of work. While the Consortium does not normally fight in the open, there are circumstances that require it, and that is where the Consortium requires soldiers.
OOC Currently:
At the moment the Zann Consortium has only three active accounts. Two inactive accounts are taking a break and we are waiting for them to return. Until their return we are going to continue role-plays and trying to recruit more characters.
