The Zann Consortium
The Zann Consortium is a criminal underworld organization. Started centuries ago by Tyber Zann.
Intent:
The intent of the Consortium is to collect wealth, information, and control from all corners of the galaxy.
To achieve this, the Consortium utilizes all assets in their strengths to further singular goals, which will lead to the end product.
History:
The Zann Consortium was founded by Tyber Zann, whose original purpose was simply to accumulate mass wealth and control over a large portion of the galaxy through the underworld. When he was imprisoned on Kessel because of Jabba the Hutt, Tyber’s second in command, Urai Fenn, took over temporarily. When Zann returned he began a swift rise to power within the galaxy. Eventually he was able to commandeer the Executor and destroy a sizable portion of an Imperial and Rebel fleet. Rather than trying to take over the galaxy, Tyber decided to sink back into the shadows and control some of the galaxy through the underworld.
After his death, the Zann Consortium began to fall apart, even with Urai Fenn trying to hold it together. After many years, it fell to pieces and the Zann Consortium was lost to the galaxy.
For many centuries, what once was the Zann Consortium was non-existent. Instead, other pirate gangs and criminal organizations began taking over, trying to attain similar status as the Consortium. However no other force had ever reached the same amount of raw power.
Within the last 5 years, Nixara Zann, one of the latest generation of Zanns, has revived the Consortium by pulling together mercenaries and operatives to begin building a powerbase to restore the Consortium to its original glory. She passed on the control of the Zann Consortium to her brother, Corruck Zann, who has tried to continue his sister’s work. His intent is the same as his sister’s, to bring the Zann Consortium to its former glory.
Leadership (IC):
Corruck Kazen is the overall leader of the Consortium; he has no second in command at this point. If his sister returns, he will gladly return control back to her. The next in command are the section commanders. They are commanders of individual sections that are separated by their jobs.
Leadership (OOC):
The actual life leadership is based on group consensus. Those characters who are active will be taking part in what we do and will be able to help come to a decision as to what we do and do not do. We decide as a group what we want done. We vote, majority rules, or we make a compromise.
Who we need:
At this time, due to security breaches, the Zann Consortium is accepting only mercenaries and other criminal units. Slicers, soldiers, pilots, are all welcome if they have a criminal element. Force users are welcomed, so long as they are not aligned with the Jedi or Sith.
