A transmission has been sent out to the wider galaxy, one of intrigue and supernatural wonder. Not long ago, a bounty rang forth on the open channels, speaking of a high value cryptid target being hunted by a mysterious investigative organization for research purposes. Now, this ellusive Yellow Lady has been spoted on the scrap world of Attahox, deep within the ruins of an old Krath warship. Technology in the proximity of the apparition have gone haywire, with ancient war droids springing to life and assuming erratic behavior, as though they had lost whatever old programming still remained. Now the Deep Brotherhood Cryptic Society calls upon the skilled hunters of the galaxy to claim this supernatural being for the cause of progression and finding the truth.

250,000 credits are on the line, and only one hunter may claim the prize. The skeptical have avoided this hunt, leaving only the despirate, money hungry, and the insane, all aware that a lone name will be the one to take home the bounty. All are coming prepared to face the supernatural, ready and willing to confront whatever lies within the old Krath warship.

Because something supernatural most definately lies within.

Definately.

This is a low stakes bounty for the spooky season, a little bit of a cryptid hunt. No killing, just capturing Rayne Lo'to Rayne Lo'to and disappointing a bunch of nerds that she is in fact a person, not a cryptid. So, uh, yeah. Thats it. Happy spooky season lmao.

It ain't offen that Farkleberry found himself away from his brothers. But a bounty was a bounty. Mebbe he just wanted som' credits to spend on materialz, and this was quite a lotta credits to find. The trip to Attahox was a quiet affair, an' plenty a folks sure did stare at the nearly 8 foot giant, but he didn't seem to mind. He just waited, as the ship landed, he set off.

Usin' his hammer, the mando giant worked his way through the scrap. Whatever this was, it ain't gonna mess with a hammer. Too simple. At least, he hoped that.

Attahox. Nothing remarkable about it other than being a garbage world. A world full of scrap and shipyards, and it held phosovane salts used to develop painkillers. More importantly, it was also home to a number of criminal gangs and cache hideouts, which meant it held its own measure of danger beyond the usual crazed scrap junkie.

Felix took a spacebus to get here. Hopefully, the bounty would pay off his fair. What else would he do with the money? Not even he had much of a clue. He could only plan so far ahead. Case in point, as he kicked a piece of scrap with his boot, his eyes darted around among the various broken ships and piles of junk sitting around. The smell was unpleasant too. If it was not old oil or burnt out energy cells or used gas cannisters, something more foul always met the senses.

He never scrunched up his nose at it. Instead, as he approached the exposed opening in one particularly large ship--an open exhaust port, he cupped his hands around his mouth and began yelling. His voice may perhaps echo through the ship.

"Hello? Yellow lady? Anyone here?" Felix rolled his eyes and shrugged. Ghosts were not real. But he might as well entertain the bounty and he had other business on this planet. Two birds, one stone sort of a deal coming here.

"I would like to be thoroughly spooked!"

This might be a waste of time. They said this "apparition" was inside an old warship and ancient droids were acting haywire. So far, no droids, no yellow woman. Maybe this was just a big prank. An expensive prank though.

Felix drew his hand along and across his face, sighing, before entering deeper into the warship and climbing up further into the exhaust port. Pulling a small flashlight from his pocket, Felix clicked it on as his footsteps reverberated against the metal with his every movement.

Zinayn wasn't a believer of ghosts, spirits, or anything like that. Other than Force Ghosts. And...strange stuff could happen on Dathomir, so that definitely didn't rule out spirits. Well, maybe Zinayn did believe in the supernatural. Just a little bit. But this was child's play. A ghost wandering the halls of a scrapped warship? Force Ghosts had a purpose, so wouldn't just be wandering around. And Dathomiri spirits? Usually on Dathomir. At least to Zinayn's knowledge.

But the Chiss was desperate for funds to repair his small shuttle. Its hyperdrive had been giving out recently, but (thank the Force) he had been able to make it to Attahox without any misfortune. And so here he was, walking through the ship's empty corridors, trying to be as silent as possible to provoke the "ghost" into its normal activities. So far he was failing. Every footstep seemed to crash on the durasteel floor, and his breaths echoed through the halls.

This would be a long day.

Earlier…

“Buuuuut Rita… you already know that I don’t do bounties. They’re boring and have too much investigative work.” Diodoros replied in a dejected and whiny voice to his handler. Well technically the hologram of his handler. The golden man was currently in his ship, leaning back in his chair with his boots up on the table that the hologram displayed from. The holographic image of the woman looked angered and annoyed at Diodoros.

“Grrr! Listle Dio, you owe me after what you’ve pulled lately trying to get in close with Sith. Plus I think you’ll like it. You just need to capture some monster, or cryptid.” Those last words caught his attention. “Oh well if you seem interested now just wait. There’s a nice sum of money to go along with completing it. It’s on Attahox, and they’re called The Yellow Lady, I’ll send you the details.” Diodoros was definitely a lot more interested in it now. Rita said some of his three favorite words, Monster, Lady, and Yellow. Well he technically loved the world Gold, but it was close enough for him. Soon enough Diodoros agreed. Earning him a more rosy demeanor from his handler.

Present…

Diodoros walked down the ramp of his ship once it landed on the junk planet. He had a decent idea of where to look from triangulating the sightings of The Yellow Lady. Resting on his shoulder was a lengthy slugthrower with a slender vibro-bayonet attached to the end of it. A typical arsenal for when he went hunting. Not to mention his ‘good luck’ charm he wore as a necklace. As a treat Diodoros also had a thick cigarra between his teeth. Letting a thick cloud of smoke from his mouth.

Looking over with his blue, predatory eyes he noticed a few Jawas looking down at him from a large pile of scrap. He frowned some as he stepped further away from his ship. Pulling out his datapad he called his droid pilot back to his ship. “Ayo RX… Take the ship in the air, I got a feeling the locals here aren’t going to keep their hands to themselves. Maybe you can use the scanners or whatever on the ship to get a good birds eye view.“ After speaking the droid proceeded to explain that they were flying a yacht, not some fancy surveillance ship. “... Oh yeah, well okay. Still take the ship back up, I don’t want the Jawas here to get any funny ideas while I’m gone.” With that his personal yacht flew up off the ground and away from him. Now Diodoros just needed to find this ‘Yellow Lady’ and get his prize. This was gonna be easy and anyone that gets in his way won’t be able to for very long.

Nothing. Precious nothing. M33P wasn't even truly sure what it was looking for amidst the scrap and rubble. Inching forward on its wheels, M33P did another scan, similar results returning except this time there was an addition - electrical activity. That meant droids. Or other lifeforms. _ _ _ INCONCLUSIVE _ _ _. With a quiet squeak, M33P scooted ahead, bouncing and rattling as his poor little wheels met all manner of resistance in forms of discarded metal and broken up durasteel. Querying the data one more time, M33P set course for the updated coordinates, his own trail having set him off course. It wasn't easy being quad-wheeled in a two-legged world.

The warship was still a good 300 meters out, 347.672 to be exact, but who was counting? M33P. M33P was counting. According to its calculations, while they could normally traverse the distance in under a minute, this by all accounts was going to take nearly fifteen due to all the debris. Having to pick its route carefully so as not to tip, M33P paused momentarily and did a sensor sweep, mapping the immediate area to ascertain the fastest route compared to the most perilous. Satisfied with its findings, M33P beeped twice and with a soft squeal of its rubberized wheels, pressed onward.
