SPECIAL FEATURES

Lightsaber Resistant
Slight Blaster Resistant
Enhanced Dark Side Abilities
Dark Side Tendril Attack

Strengths:

Lightsaber a No-No: The helmet and armor grant the wearer protection from nasty hobbit's lightsabers.

Pew-Pew: The electromesh gives the wearer some limited protection against blast fire, but useless against slugthrowers.

Dark Side Love: The Vahl Crystal enhances the wearer's Dark Side abilities.

Tendril Tickles: The wholesome product created form the alchemized process allows the wearer to "think" the spell rather than speak the words. However, the tendrils emerge from the armor instead of the ground.

Weaknesses:

You Can Sense Me?: The Vahl Crystal heightens the wearer's Force signature making it impossible to hide in the Force.

Tendrils No Tickle: When the tendrils are released, it weakens the overall armor rating/quality from 7 to 2.

Light Side Misery: Unlike most Sith alchemized objects, this one doesn't risk destruction. However, a single direct hit turns the rating from 7 to 0.

DESCRIPTION

The basis of the armor was created by a smith back in 213 ABY for one of the House Venjuta Counts, but was lost for hundreds of years when both smith and Count were brutally murdered. Digging through the ancient vaults of Wintermoor Castle, Marlow found the armor and decided to resurrect it for this day in age. Though there was much work needed on perfecting it, or at lest attempting to perfect it.

First thing he did was add the rare and fragile Vahl crystal in a secure location, a crystal granted to him by permission, that enhanced his Dark Side abilities. This alone could make him stronger when wielding the powers of the Dark Side. Secondly, through alchemy and spells he was able to add Dark Side Tendrils to the armor by simply "thinking" the spell, though when the tendrils were released it drastically weakened the armor.

The songsteel and electromesh protecting him from both lightsabers and blasters; however the electromesh was on the wings which resulted in him drawing them around his being, granting only limited protection and none against slugthrowers. The wings, however, were constructed of turadium, making them highly resistant to be cut through; even for a lightsaber.

The Vahl Blessing Crystal heightened his signature, which along with his weapons, made it impossible for him to mask his presence. Light Side attacks would not destroy the armor, but it turned it from armor to clothing, making it obsolete and useless.

Looks solid all around, but there's a few kinks to iron out before this can get stamped.

Turadium: Wings
  • Turadium was difficult to cut with a lightsaber because it was dense and heavy. Having a dense and heavy metal hanging on your cape/back might not be the best idea.
  • Why not just have this be alchemized songsteel like the main armor?
  • If you're adamant on the turadium, then you'll have to increase the weight a bit.

  • From the Vahl's Blessing submission:
Affiliation: Vahla (Darkside) ---->Permission Needed By Darth Venefica<----
Do you have proof of permission from the original submitter?
  • It only works for the Vahla species – your character is a Vahla hybrid, so wouldn't this effect be lessened or altogether absent?

  • From the Wookieepedia article:
Exceptionally powerful and difficult to conjure, this Force power required complete mental concentration.
  • How does this requirement of absolute concentration work with your armor?
  • When the spell is cast, does it draw on the Force reserves of the wearer?

  1. How does this armor fare against kinetic damage?
