The Lightsaber was constructed right after Zilas Zirgas became an Apprentice, though he had used a standard dark red Lightsaber Crystal instead. He did not switch to the White Crystal until he fought on Ilum for a time when he witnessed a Sith Marauder killed a Jedi Master and attempted to steal the Golden crystal that the Master used. By the time Zilas killed the Marauder and found the crystal in the snow, the now dead Sith had already made it bleed, causing it to change to a dark red color. Zilas decided to heal the crystal with what abilities of the Light he knew, and it turned white. Instead of risking giving the crystal back, he changed out his red lightsaber crystal for the newly healed white one.
As time grew on, he installed extra components to allow the use of more than one lightsaber crystal, soon having spots for two more to be placed. He first found a Rubat Crystal when he was marooned on the planet Phemis by a traitorous Sith Lord for about two weeks. During this time, he found a Rubat Crystal and installed it into his lightsaber, only for the Sith to rescue him about 2 days after he found the Rubat crystal. Then, about 3 months later, he was assisting a Sith takeover of a Jedi outpost on the mountainous area of the world of M'aeli. Once the outpost was taken, Zigas found that one of the Jedi had a Nextor Crystal in a small bag on his belt. He installed the Nextor Crystal about a day later, before leaving to go back to Korriban.

- The Lightsaber Crystal that makes the blade white was actually healed by The White Knight himself, after killing a Sith Marauder for breaking the basic rules of Lightsaber Dueling by attempting to take the dead Jedi master's Crystal as a trophy.
- Familiarity: Due to how long The White Knight has had this lightsaber in his possession, he is well accustomed to how it feels in his hand, and how to swing it, making it easier to pull off some complicated Lightsaber attacks
- Lightweight: Built for striking multiple times in quick succession, The White Knight made the lightsaber lighter than average to keep the weight of the weapon from being a factor against a quick strike
- Rubat Crystal: The Installation of a Rubat Lightsaber crystal allowed the wielder to track the blade more easily due to the crystal "Sharpening" the definition and appearance of the blade, along with allowing quicker strikes.
- Nextor Crystal: The Nextor Lightsaber Crystal allowed for a volatile, yet more powerful blade, giving the lightsaber more capabilities for damage.
- Old Parts: Due to how old the lightsaber is, maintenance is required to be done constantly, just to ensure that the lightsaber works without fail. This can some times be a problem as the ignition switch will get stuck sometimes.
- Lightweight 2.0: Due to the lightweight nature of the lightsaber, it makes the saber easier to accidentally fling out of the users' hands while trying to fight with it. This is because the saber was built before the Suit the White Knight wears was even conceived. This means he has to hold the lightsaber tighter, which restricts his movements a bit.
