Public The Watering Hole

Planet: Tatooine

Myles sat in the cantina, with the details of patrons coming and going every moment. He had a stroke of bad luck hit him when he was feeling 'on top of the world'. His private contracting company was all but dissolved and Raven Squad was elsewhere out in the galaxy. Going back to his solo state put him at a slight disadvantage; however he has faced great odds before, and he would fight like hell to get back to a state of normalcy.

Grabbing the cup of jawa juice, he downed the fluid and it burned on the way down. A reminder that this was no nightmare he was in, this was all real. The only thing Myles had left was his old ship: The Tempest. He changed the identification and name to mask himself as best as possible. A droid came up to him--with drinks in hand and prompted the old veteran.

"Another, perhaps?" Queried the droid.

"No. I am full up. Here" he murmured as he tossed a credit chit to the droid.
As the machination walked away to serve other patrons, Myles was thinking about the jobs he had in the past. Securing a casino, helping a young man stake claim on a vibrant planet, keeping guard over a doctor......

Chuckling to himself, Myles knew that he was far from dead but close enough to accept that it was coming for him.
Since time began, all living species had come to a watering hole to survive and group up. Now individuals come to a watering hole for information and perhaps even work. Keeping himself stationary, he pulled out his datapad to check for the news on HoloNet.

He was even hoping that he could inquire about a job. He didn't care if it was scrap collecting, he needed the credits to get himself re-established.

FINAL DAWN
TATOOINE, OUTER RIM TERRITORIES

Tatooine. A rather insignificant planet in the galaxy located in the distant Outer Rim Territories. It was known as a hotbed of criminal activity although such activity had been reduced thanks to the presence of the Mandalorian Enclave which claimed sovereignty over Tatooine and regularly dealt with Criminal Elements that disrupted the peace across the planet. However Tatooine was the ideal world if you were seeking to hide out from individuals that sought to hunt down due to it's irrelevance, considering at how renown Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi was able to live the most of his remaining years hiding out on Tatooine and evading detection from the original Galactic Empire.

Despite the fact that the Enclave ruled over Tatooine, Dorian Sevenar, the Director-Admiral of the Final Dawn's intelligence agency, the Politorate had arrived at Tatooine to seek out a certain individual who was rumored to be residing on the World. While the Final Dawn was at war with the Enclave due to it's status as a subgroup of the Mandalorian Enclave, Dorian Sevenar was a largely obscure figure throughout the Final Dawn and few knew of his very existence, which allowed him to operate as he saw fit across the Galaxy without being detected. As such the Director-Admiral would soon find himself at a cantina with a datapad containing information in regards to the individual he sought out.

Eventually Sevenar would proceed to sit down right beside Myles Davorak whereas he proceeded to speak. "I'll have a bottle of Corellian whiskey" the Director-Admiral said to the Bartender Droid who simply responded "Right-way sir" before leaving. As the Bartender Droid went off to get Sevenar's drink, the Director-Admiral proceeded to focus his attention on the man right beside him. Taking a quick look at him he guessed he had to be a Mercenary of some kind plus he did bare a resemblance to the individual he was seeking out. Perhaps he was the one? Nevertheless the Director-Admiral soon proceeded to speak to man, seeking to know a little bit more about him. "So what brings you here to this part of the galaxy?" the Director-Admiral said trying to get the man's interest.

Browsing the HoloNet didn't bring much news. Political uprisings here and civil wars there, nothing new in the vast galaxy. Davorak winced at the lack of job postings and set his datapad down, taking a deep breath in reflection. Reaching into his pocket, he dug around until he felt the familiar item jump into his fingers.

Pulling his hand out, he was met with the image of an intricate crystalline shard. An item his mother gave him long ago, he had kept it all these years as a way to remind himself where he came from. Sure it was sentimental, but Myles could be a sentimental man when it came down to it.

Putting the shard back into his pocket, he felt relief wash over him. Not soon after, an individual approached Myles and sat down next to him. When someone approaches you in a cantina, usually you are prey or they wish to propose a job to you. He kept his left hand on his slugthrower pistol just in case things went south.

The curious individual ordered some whiskey and then prompted Myles to make small-talk, which he was more than okay with.
"Tatooine is a rest stop for me. Just laying over until I get another job. Scum, villiany, and things in between attract many to this part of the galaxy."

He had never met this individual before and they were dressed to kill-- they looked official from what Myles could discern.
"Question is. What brings you to this part of the galaxy? I am sure it's not the Corellian whiskey."

It was uncertain times like these, when Myles had to figure out the angle behind someone. Surely there was a proposition to be made. Whether Myles was the target or the employee, everyone had an underlying angle. Question was, who was this person and what was their goal?

FINAL DAWN
TATOOINE, OUTER RIM TERRITORIES

The Droid came back with a bottle of whiskey pouring some of the beverage in a glass cup which the Droid handed over to Sevenar. "Thank you" he said before taking a sip as the man finished speaking. "You're right about not being here for the whiskey. Truth be told, I'm simply here looking for someone to hire for a few jobs. I was directed to this cantina by one of my contacts here who said i would find someone who might fit that criteria. A Veteran Soldier specializing in Intelligence Gathering and isn't afraid of using unorthodox tactics and is quite creative with such tactics. Atleast that's what my contact told me. The Galaxy is a large place. Sometimes you can find exactly what you need in the last place you'd expect."

As Sevenar spoke, he couldn't help but think that perhaps this stranger was the one he was looking for. After all he did say he was looking for a job and he seemed to look like some sort of Mercenary or Gun-For-Hire. Nevertheless once he finished speaking he took another sip of his glass of whiskey waiting for the man to respond.

While drinking the information in, Myles glanced around at their surroundings. One couldn't be too careful in situations like this. It was becoming apparent that Myles might be the person this individual was looking for. The prospect of a job was becoming appealing to him in this squalor state he was relishing in.

"A few jobs eh? I think I know someone who will take you up on that offer."
He chuckled as he leaned forward with his elbows on the table.
"Intelligence gathering and unorthodox tactics is something I am never in short supply of. You're right about the Galaxy being a large place. You can most certainly find exactly what you need in the last place you'd expect."

Feeling more at ease, he prompted to introduce himself.
"Name's Myles Davorak. How can I be of service?"

Grabbing his datapad, he would put it in standby mode and put it away to give this unknown individual his attention.

FINAL DAWN
TATOOINE, OUTER RIM TERRITORIES

Dorian Sevenar smiled, it was good to know that this man was interested in his offer, individuals like him was something the Final Dawn required if it were to emerge as a dominant force within the Galaxy especially in the face of it's many foes within the Maw, the Galactic Alliance and across the galaxy. However Sevenar needed to be careful as he needed to be persuasive enough to effectively recruit this man and be able to retain his loyalty once he joined. Kenth Berik, who was also a Mercenary had begun to express doubts in the Final Dawn which was very concerning considering he had been under the employment of Sevenar and his superiors for over a decade.

"I'm Dorian Sevenar and i am currently assembling a team of highly-skilled mercenaries and operatives for an organization known as the Final Dawn and considering your expertise in intel gathering and unorthodox tactics, you seem like a perfect candidate. As for how this team will operate it's main specialties will be combating special threats to the Final Dawn, high priority frontline operations, black ops and covert operations along with infiltrating hostile organizations, assassinating and/or kidnapping high-value targets and to a certain extent conducting intel gathering operations on specific targets." Dorian said. He then took another sip of whiskey before continuing

"We could use someone like you in this team and you would be paid handsomely for your service."

Leaning slightly forward, he would process the man's proposition word for word as it came to him. The description of the employment was tantalizing yet he did not know of Final Dawn's enemies, at least not formally. He had heard of this faction but has been out of the fray for a while to discern which faction is in which war.

Nevertheless Myles would nod after the man was done speaking.

"Final Dawn you say? Can't say I have had the pleasure of working with you before. "
He stayed silent for a moment, as if to compose a structured reply to the officer.

"Black ops, covert ops and infiltration is something I am more than eager to oblige Mr. Sevenar. I just have one real question in that matter."
He stopped once more and then continued to dish out the question.

"May I inquire as to who the enemies of the Final Dawn are? I don't want to be opening fire on my fellow kinsmen given the choice. I am sure you understand.....I have two loyalties, my family and my employer--as long as the credits are coming through."
After he finished, Myles did not know what to expect from Dorian.

The job offer could be rescinded for all he knew. Either way, it was better to know what he was getting himself into than to go blindly to a job that may end him within a few moments.

"Getting paid handsomely is something I don't question too often. Can't ever have too many credits."

Sevenar listed as the man spoke inquiring on who the enemies of the Final Dawn were and further explaining that he had no intentions on harming his kinsmen, stating that he held loyalty to both his family and his employer. Fortunally for him, the High Regent of the Final Dawn, Marlon Sularen was one to respect such concerns which would contrast with other organizations baring a similar ideology as the Final Dawn such as The Empire, who couldn't care less about family, to them loyalty was all that mattered and atleast such difference between the Final Dawn and The Empire would keep Davorak on the side of the Final Dawn.

"The enemies of the Final Dawn are quite numerous, ranging from rogue Imperial Warlords in the Outer Rim, to entire interplanetary galactic governments such as the Galactic Alliance which as of now controls the entirety of the Core Worlds. However as for your family and kinsmen, i cannot give you any reassurances of their safety unless i know at least their planet of residence, so that if our organization carries out an operation there, whether you are involved or not, caution will be taken as to ensure your close ones are not harmed. Contrary to how other factions view and portray us, we do actually respect the concerns of those we employ in contrast to other groups like the Empire which would simply demand your Loyalty would not hesitate to shoot your family to keep you in line."
