Contract The Vigo's List: Loquacious Lieutenants | BSS & BHs/Assassins

Tohu

OOC thread: Link.
//
TARGET: Rharo Minnau
LOCATION: Promenade, Nar Shaddaa
NOTABLE FEATURES: Imperial and human supremacist tattoos over his body

A walking wall of muscle, clean-shaven head, and the nastiest look in the galaxy. Iron Sun and old COMPNOR slogans and symbols tattooed along almost every inch of his flesh. If Omerta were a sentient, this would be him.

Tohu hardly questioned the Vigo’s List. Yet, leaning over the handles of his speeder bike and watching the hulking man cross the street up ahead, he couldn’t help but wonder if the intel on Rharo Minnau being a snitch was simply set up by another looking to take his place in the Syndicate’s hierarchy. Then, his gaze caught the jolly skip of a child falling into step beside the man and taking his hand. Oversized glasses, loose clothes, freckles, and a few new teeth – the kid was the complete antithesis of his father.

And all the pieces suddenly fell into place.

The young hunter cleared his mind and propelled the speeder bike forward. As it moved up parallel to Minnau, he lined his shot. Clean aim, easy target. Tohu pulled the trigger–

–and a landspeeder bumped into his bike from behind, sending the blaster shot well wide of its mark and into a tattered awning of an antique shop that quickly burst into fire.

Chaos ensued.

Tohu felt his breath hitch, and his dark eyes clawed the blur of fleeing denizens for his target, but Minnau had vanished.

The Spice Pig of Gamorr

Grunt was happy to be here, on Nar Shaddaa. He had recently been traveling at behest of the Suns. They were busy people, expanding their reach far into the galaxy, past the confines of Hutt space.

He was still here on business, however, he had been sent to take out different targets that the Vigos wanted gone. They had entrusted him to do it however he pleased, so long as it didn't shed a negative light on the Suns. That meant he kept Usurer at home, where he was likely getting restless.

Grunt's first target was a Zabrak in his mid twenties. He was doing a little too much yapping for the Vigos, and he had to be taken care of. That was one thing Grunt was good at, ensuring results. That's why he was chosen for the mission. He had an idea of how he was going to approach this, and it wasn't subtly. On Nar Shaddaa, the sight of a Gamorrean doing something like eliminating a target for the Syndicate wasn't an uncommon sight. He would use his axe, and he would do what he did best- swing.

Or so he thought, he got close enough to practically taste the Zabrak, and he went for a powerful swing. But when he did so, he lost his balance and he tripped over his own feet. The blade smashing into the ground and skidding away. The target was surprised, but not enough for Grunt to recover, and the Zabrak took off into the crowd. Likely to go underground and escape the planet. This was not good for Grunt. Too much bad luck and he'd find himself on the wrong end of this list.

Roll 1- Utter Failure. -1 on next roll.

From seemingly out of nowhere, Morrow appeared. Surging out from beneath his cloak, a gloved hand seized the lekku of Shad Nur with tight enmity. Yowling, the Twi'leki broker hemmed and squirmed as he was dragged away on staggering legs. The tight grasp on his brain tails left him half-incapacitated, unable to free himself. Those he had stood conversing with in one of the lines of Nar Shaddaa's many nightclubs began to step up in his defense, though they quickly reconsidered when Morrow's free hand raised a blaster in their direction.

Deep in a nearby alley, Morrow released the Twi'lek and forced him to the ground with a blaster-whip to the bridge of the nose. Shad landed in a corner between a dumpster and a durasteel wall. Like a cornered animal, the broker floundered, wide eyes darting between his assailant and either end of the alleyway. Morrow regarded him from above with a twist of disgust.

"Hey man, you want cred? I got cred, I—"

"I don't want your money," Morrow interjected.

"Anything, man, anything, just say the word!"

"Mauve sent me. You know what I'm here for."

Shad hesitated, blood dripping from his nose. Eventually, he fumbled in his jacket pocket and pulled out a small device. Morrow snatched it from the Twi'lek's trembling hands. When he activated it, a hologram flickered to life, displaying scrolling aurebesh. Watching the cerulean image, he skimmed the information to confirm it was what he'd come for. Once satisfied, he tucked the device into a pocket beneath his cloak.

"O- Okay, y- you got what you wanted, now I—"

BLAM!

A scream from the muzzle of Morrow's blaster cut off the broker's plea along with his life.

Kyber did not know who the Vigos were or exactly why they wanted these guys dead all he cared about was the sound of some nice fresh credits and more importantly the hunt. The droids stalked the roof tops of the city trying to spot his first target. Some unlucky human deathsticks dealer who had been able to buy one of the nicer looking houses in this cesspool. The man was relaxing on his balcony enjoying some kind of drink completely oblivious to the droid right above him.

Kyber using the force floated his saber behind the mans head and as always poised to strike once ignited. This was the easiest target Kyber had ever taken or it should have been but it seemed The Maker had different plans as out of nowhere a Rib-Cat pounced at the floating saber mistaking it for either a toy or food. "KARK!" Kyber yelled a bit too audibly as he lost his saber to a bloody cat who was now running away with it which alerted the man of the assassins presence and immediately bolted.

Kyber had two choices either chase this target or get his saber back and well the saber was worth more to Kyber than the bounty so he let the target escape most likely to not be seen again for quite a long time as Kyber ran after the Rib-Cat to try and get his saber back.

Welp thats a fail with -1 next roll

Diamond Dog hit one of the hundreds of buttons of the lift. His first target of the day was far below the Smuggler's Moon's surface, deep in an underground hideout. The lift sputtered into motion, descending. Light slipped through the elevator windows as DD rode it down. The lower the level, the more outlandish the artificial lights got.

\> TARGET: Q-E5 +++ Overseer Droid +++ Corta Argent District
\> MISSION: Destroy with Prejudice
\> ▶ NOW PLAYING: "TURBO KILLER" — CARPENTER BRUT
\> TIME: 00:01 / 03:28 | VOL: 100% | LOOP: ON

He toggled his work ambience casette. Through the built-in headphones in his helmet the music picked up with a quick plunge into a fast-paced melody. That, of course, lead into a brief mellow interlude before the main track kicked in at full volume.

DD tapped his in sync with the rhythm, taken in by the sound. He didn't notice when the display on his turbolift subtly changed the levels and it went deeper than it should have. Outside influence, Q-E5's influence.

When the doors opened and he stepped out, his blood was pumping and he was ready to kill. He wandered beyond the lift's doors and into the sublevels of Nar Shaddaa, unwittingly several stories below his target.

During his wandering, he bumped into a wholly different crew, on someone else's list. The thugs picked up something was wrong if DD was coming down to this level, and started blasting. Alarms went off, and DD realized that, perhaps, he wasn't where he was supposed to be.

Shavit.

Morrow Morrow you're getting sabotage'd!

Malyssa attempted the assassination of the target she held a blaster with a sniper scope not her style but it was still effective for what she needed as she took the shot. Taking out her target as she whent to get up and leave she began dismantling the blaster with gloved hands. Dropping the parts into her expensive bag as she began walking down the stairs to the ground floor from the roof. She avoided drawing attention to herself as she walked out of the building into the crowds of people now screaming over the dead body.

The failed gambit by the Black Sun against the High Republic demoralized the men. From the lowly grunt to the trusted lieutenants within the ranks of all the syndicates, and like the rats they were they scurried to cover their own tails. The meaning of honor was nearly non-existent within these plagues of rats. However, individuals like Amun stood out like a sore thumb from the rest. His profession was tiring and dangerous, but lucrative and consistent because of his reputation.

From the rooftops he tracked down a Rodian slime by the name of Wotch, his red skin made him outstanding from the crowd and easy to follow. He thought he was safe by how he walked, but his confidence would betray him to his death. His bowcaster was in hand and carefully aimed at the Rodian, center mass.

He inhaled...

...and exhaled with a disciplined finger ready to pull.

A bolt was fired and its mark was true on the Rodian. The bolt exploded and sent the slime flying from his feet until he unceremoniously landed facedown into the pavement. Good ridance for the Vigos, and another job successfully accomplished by the Kyuzo.
